Abstract

This research was applied to the project learning model of supporting learning materials at high school SMAN 3 Jambi City. The learning model in the 2013 curriculum must fulfill the five steps scientific approach namely Observing, Asking, Experimenting, Collecting data, and Communicating, which is the goal of a learning model like this to make students understand learning well, educational design-based research that adopts the substance of the formative evaluation type with the characteristics of substance experts in procedural assessment, one-on-one evaluation, small group evaluation and field presentation. The concept of formative evaluation can be integrated with research and development method. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Buffer Solution was using a development process type with a hybrid theory-based approach and directing eight-step practice. The theoretical steps are identifying data sources, collecting data and analyzing data, while the practical steps are generating model ideas, describing models, validating concepts and practitioners and formulating recommendations for testing models. The product was validated by a team of experts which includes practitioner validation to see the practicality of using the product being developed. A small group test was carried out to see the application of the product being developed. The results showed that learning chemistry using the PjBL model could increase the activity and results of students' chemistry learning on the concept of buffer solutions. The increase in student chemistry learning outcomes in the buffer solution concept can also be observed based on the value in general of the learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I of 68.09 increased to 74.81 in cycle II and % completion in the classical way from 39.39 percent increased to 87.88 percent and this fulfills the marker of success is classical completeness reaching 85 percent with Minimum Completeness Criteria of 70.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research was conducted to analyze the test instruments used to measure students' HOTS abilities on static fluid material at Senior high school 2 Jambi City. Methodology: The evaluation instrument provided was in the form of 20 items of two-tier multiple choice questions related to static fluid material. The Rasch model is used to get fit items. This analysis was carried out with the help of Ministeps software. Respondents in this study were 36 students of class XI MIPA 1 Senior high school 2 Jambi City. Main Findings: From the output of the Ministeps program, the results obtained were 20 questions according to the Rasch model with an average Outfit MNSQ score for person and item respectively 0.94 and 0.94. While the Outfit ZSTD values ​​for persons and items are 0 and -0.1 respectively, while the reliability of the instrument expressed in Cronbach's alpha is 0.79. Novelty/Originality of this study: The evaluation instrument used for physics subjects on static fluid material is fit with the Rasch model. so that the instrument meets the criteria for use.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru SMA Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran khususnya laboratorium virtual berbasis aplikasi construct. Kegiatan pelatihan diikuti oleh 18 guru SMA Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi dari seluruh mata pelajaran. Kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari tiga tahap kegiatan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan persiapan terdiri dari kegiatan analisis permasalahan di lapangan dan persiapan materi pelatihan. Kegiatan pelaksanaan pelatihan terdiri dari penyampaian materi pelatihan, demonstrasi pengembangan media laboratorium virtual berbasis aplikasi construct, dan kegiatan diskusi. Kegiatan evaluasi pelatihan bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat ketercapaian pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan di SMA Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi. Berdasarkan evaluasi mengenai pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan guru SMA Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi dalam mengembangkan media laboratorium virtual menggunakan aplikasi construct. Nilai ketercapaian pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan adalah 4,37 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Surface excess Gibbs ditentukan dari kurva tegangan permukaan vs konsentrasi larutan. Konsep baru surface excess diperkenalkan berdasarkan analisis data kecepatan penguapan air, energi aktivasi penguapan dan BAM photos untuk larutan surfaktan. Hasil penelitian penunjukkan bahwa surface excess tidak terkonsentrasi tepat pada permukaan udara-air akan tetapi berada pada kedalaman tertentu sebagai aggregat bi-lamellar.

Abstract

Teachers play an important role in the quality of learning that is carried out. The limited ability of teachers to operate software or flipbook maker platforms makes learning media that is diverse cannot be developed and applied optimally. Therefore, training for SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi teachers in developing skills through making flipbooks is needed. The training was held on July 18, 2024 at SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi which was attended by 18 teachers from all subjects. The methods used in this training include preparation, implementation and evaluation methods. Skill development training activities through making flipbooks as an independent learning resource that have been carried out have an average achievement of 4.48 with a very good category. The training participants were very enthusiastic about the training conducted regarding making flipbooks as an independent learning resource because SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi teachers experienced an increase in adequate technical skills and creativity and innovation in making flipbook teaching materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menggambarkan (description) tentang suatu gegajala (ukuran-ukuran) yang biasa digunakan dalam statistic deskriptif berbentuk table, gambar, dan grafik dengan berbagai variable yang berfungsi mendeskrispsikan atau memberikan gambaran terhadap objek yang diteliti melalui data sampel atau populasi sebagaimana adanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, siswa SMP Negeri yang berusia 11-15 di Kecamatan Kuala Jambi Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi mempunyai keterbakatan yang berbeda-beda. Pada Overal Top 10 olahraga Diving 68 %, Athlethics Disiplines olahraga high jump 60%, Combative Olahraga Taekwondo 41%, Individual olahraga gymnastic 90%, Raquet/Stick olahraga 81%, Team/Ball olahraga 51% Soccer, Water olahraga 100%, Other sport olahraga baton twirling 100%. Penilaian secara keseluruhan terhadap butir-butir tes yang yang dicatat dan dikumpulkan mengacu kepada tes sport search akan muncul peluang-peluang melalui kecabangan olahraga yang ada, khususnya dalam mendukung kecabangan olahraga yang di prioritaskan melalui program pemanduan bakat sejak usia dini. Sehingga siswa yang memiliki bakat-bakat olahraga tersembunyi dapat memperoleh peluang untuk dapat ditumbuhkembangkan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah sehingga mampu mencapai tingkat prestasi yang setinggi-tingginya.

Abstract

Microteaching as a learning model must be updated for the future, especially in preparing prospective biology teachers with the 4C skills required in the 21st century. This study aims to develop a microteaching model-based Project-based Learning (PjBL) and blended learning to enhance the 4C skills of prospective biology teachers. The research method uses a Research & Development approach with the ADDIE framework. The research subjects are the Biology Education Study Program students who take the microteaching course. This model integrates PjBL and blended learning, including the following stages: (1) Project orientation (synchronous), (2) Module development (asynchronous), (3) Peer review (asynchronous), (4) Presentation of peer review results (synchronous), (5) First teaching practice and peer review (asynchronous), (6) Presentation of first teaching practice results (synchronous), (7) Second teaching practice and peer review (asynchronous), (8) Presentation of second teaching practice results (synchronous), (9) Collection of project videos (synchronous), and (10) Project evaluation (synchronous). Data collection techniques include questionnaires, validation sheets, observation sheets, and tests, with data analysis using a t-test. The results show that model enhances the 4C skills of prospective biology teachers. In conclusion, this model effectively improves 4C skills with the guidance of a logbook and LMS. Still, lecturers must encourage and facilitate student learning activities through direct communication or instant messaging. This research impacts the quality of education for prospective biology teachers in the future.Abstrak. Microteaching sebagai model pembelajaran perlu diperbaharui untuk masa depan, khususnya dalam menyiapkan calon guru biologi dengan keterampilan 4C yang dibutuhkan pada abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model microteaching berbasis project-based learning (PjBL) dan blended learning bagi calon guru biologi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research & Development dengan kerangka ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi yang mengambil mata kuliah microteaching. Model microteaching yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan PjBL dan blended learning, meliputi tahapan: (1) Orientasi proyek (sinkronus), (2) Pengembangan modul (asinkronus), (3) Peer review (asinkronus), (4) Presentasi hasil peer review (sinkronus), (5) Praktik mengajar pertama dan peer review (asinkronus), (6) Presentasi hasil praktik mengajar pertama (sinkronus), (7) Praktik mengajar kedua dan peer review (asinkronus), (8) Presentasi hasil praktik mengajar kedua (sinkronus), (9) Pengumpulan video proyek pembelajaran (sinkronus), dan (10) Evaluasi dan penilaian proyek (sinkronus). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, lembar validasi, lembar observasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t-test.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model ini meningkatkan keterampilan 4C pada calon guru biologi. Kesimpulannya, moel ini efektif meningkatkan keterampilan 4C dengan panduan logbook dan LMS, Namun, dosen perlu mendorong dan menfasilitasi kegiatan belajar mahasiswa melalui komunikasi langsung atau pesan instan. Penelitian ini berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan calon guru biologi di masa depan.
