Abstract

This article discusses innovative models in higher education financing that aim to expand access and maintain quality more evenly in Indonesia. The main focus of this study is on the challenges of financing higher education, such as limited funds, infrastructure inequality, and quality gaps between regions that are still obstacles to realizing inclusive and quality education. This study uses a qualitative approach with the systematic literature review method on 25 sources of scientific literature published between 2020–2025. The results of the study show that financing models such as public-private partnerships (PPP), education crowdfunding, the use of financial technology (fintech), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs have great potential to encourage sustainability and equitable access to higher education. The PPP model, for example, can strengthen synergy between the government and the private sector in the provision of educational infrastructure, while crowdfunding plays a role in opening up wider public participation in supporting student financing. The use of fintech can provide a more flexible, transparent, and accessible payment system, while CSR encourages corporate contributions to support scholarships and university quality development programs. However, its implementation in Indonesia still faces a number of obstacles. Inhibiting factors include limited regulations governing alternative financing, low digital and financial literacy among students and the community, and unevenness in digital infrastructure between regions. Therefore, the development of the higher education financing system in Indonesia needs to be directed at diversifying funding sources, increasing the management capacity of educational institutions, and improving governance to be more accountable and transparent.

Abstract

Effective management of Operational Assistance (BOP) funds is a crucial factor in improving the quality of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) services. The BOP Fund has a strategic role in supporting the provision of facilities, infrastructure, and learning activities that are decent, equitable, and sustainable for early childhood. However, the effectiveness of its management is largely determined by the level of accountability and transparency of the organizing institution. This study aims to analyze the influence of accountability and transparency on the effectiveness of BOP fund management in PAUD institutions. The research method uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis techniques to test the relationship between variables. The research sample amounted to 40 respondents consisting of 15 school principals and 25 PAUD treasurers, selected by random sampling technique. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire based on a Likert scale of 1–5 that measured indicators of accountability, transparency, and effectiveness of the use of BOP funds. Data analysis includes classical assumption tests, reliability tests, t-tests, and linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the responses of the principal and the treasurer in the management of BOP funds with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression analysis also confirms that both accountability and transparency have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of fund management. These findings confirm that accountable and transparent BOP fund management practices are able to improve the efficiency of fund use, strengthen stakeholder trust, create sound financial governance, and support the success of education programs in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital applications in financial reporting at UPTD SMP Negeri X. The focus of the research is to identify the impact of digital technology implementation on the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of financial reporting in educational institutions. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis in the March–May 2024 period. The research respondents consisted of four key personnel: school principals, treasurers, teachers in the field of infrastructure, and teachers in the field of curriculum who have been using the ARKAS application since 2022. The results of the study show that digital applications contribute positively to increasing the effectiveness of financial reporting. This is shown by the average scores on the indicators of accuracy (4.2), transparency (4.1), and timeliness (4.0) on a five-point scale. The implementation of digital systems helps minimize recording errors, speed up the validation process, and increase financial information disclosure. However, the utilization of advanced features such as financial analytics (43.75%), visual reporting (31.25%), and multi-unit integration (25%) is still relatively low. The main challenges found include limited technical training and low digital literacy which is recognized by all respondents (100%). In addition, the lack of supervision from related parties and the limitations of information technology infrastructure are also significant obstacles. Thus, the effectiveness of digital applications is not only determined by the sophistication of the technology used, but also by the readiness of human resources, institutional support, and organizational cultural adaptation. The findings of this study provide important implications for education managers, especially in the formulation of policies to strengthen technology-based governance. Investment in continuous training, infrastructure capacity building, and consistent supervision are key factors to maximize the benefits of digital applications in secondary education financial management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pengembangan aspek-aspek potensi berbahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK KS-IB Jambi. Penelitian ini berpendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Kajian penelitian berfokus pada pengembangan aspek-aspek potensi berbahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun yang terungkap pada “rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian” (RPPH) Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan human instrument (instrumen peneliti sendiri) dan dokumen RPPH. Data penelitian berupa RPPH, dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan potensi berbahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK KS-IB Jambi, sebagai berikut: (1) implementasi unsur-unsur pendukung aspek mendengar dan membedakan bunyi suara, sebesar 57,15% (cukup lengkap); (2) implementasi unsur-unsur pendukung aspek berkomunikasi atau berbicara lancar, sebesar 81.81% (lengkap); (3) implementasi unsur-unsur pendukung aspek pemahaman hubungan lisan dan tulisan (pramembaca), sebesar 60% (cukup lengkap); dan (4) implementasi unsur-unsur pendukung aspek pemahaman hubungan gambar dan tulisan (pramenulis), sebesar 100% (sangat lengkap). Kata kunci: implementasi, pengembangan,  potensi berbahasa anak Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of the development of aspects of the language potential of children aged 5-6 years in TK KS-IB Jambi. This research has a descriptive-qualitative approach. The research study focuses on developing aspects of the language potential of children aged 5-6 years which are revealed in the "Daily Learning Implementation Plan" (RPPH) Semester II of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This research uses human instrument (researcher's own instrument) and RPPH document. Research data in the form of RPPH, analyzed by stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the development of the language potential of children aged 5-6 years in TK-IB Jambi Kindergarten is as follows: (1) implementation of the supporting elements for listening and distinguishing sounds, by 57.15% (quite complete); (2) implementation of the supporting elements in the aspect of communicating or speaking fluently, amounting to 81.81% (complete); (3) implementation of supporting elements in the aspect of understanding oral and written relationships (pre-reading), by 60% (quite complete); and (4) implementation of supporting elements in understanding the relationship between pictures and writing (pre-writing), by 100% (very complete). Abstract

This community service program aims to improve teachers' pedagogical competence and strengthen collaboration between teachers and school committees in implementing the Independent Curriculum in vocational high schools through a deep learning approach. The activity focused on two partner schools, SMK Putra Bangsa Salatiga and SMK Bina Nusantara Ungaran, which were selected because initial assessments indicated that teachers' understanding of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) design and practice, as well as the integration of deep learning values, was still limited. The program lasted four months (September–December 2025) using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which actively involved participants from needs identification, training, mentoring, to reflective evaluation. The activity involved 48 teachers and 10 school committee members. The results showed a 34.2% increase in teachers' ability to design and implement PjBL and a 29.5% increase in teacher-committee collaboration based on a paired t-test (p < 0.05). Observations and interviews also demonstrated increased teacher motivation and creativity in implementing the deep learning approach, particularly in strengthening students' character, independence, and critical thinking.

Abstract

Perundungan (bullying) pada jenjang pendidikan dasar berdampak langsung pada kesejahteraan psikologis, iklim kelas, dan capaian belajar siswa. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan pencegahan dan penanganan perundungan ke dalam kurikulum satuan pendidikan dasar melalui penguatan kompetensi guru, pengembangan perangkat ajar berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka, serta kolaborasi orang tua–komunitas. Metode meliputi lokakarya desain pembelajaran, penyusunan modul tematik lintas mata pelajaran, pelatihan restoratif (restorative practices), kampanye siswa (student-led campaign), dan sistem rujukan kasus berbasis sekolah. Evaluasi menggunakan pra–pasca asesmen guru, observasi pembelajaran, audit perangkat ajar, serta rekap insiden dan persepsi iklim sekolah. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengenali/merespons perundungan, bertambahnya praktik pembelajaran sosial-emosional (PSE), dan penurunan laporan insiden di kelas yang mengadopsi strategi secara konsisten. Pembahasan menekankan pentingnya integrasi eksplisit pada tujuan pembelajaran, asesmen formatif nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila, serta tata kelola sekolah yang selaras dengan kebijakan pencegahan kekerasan. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi kurikuler—bukan sekadar kegiatan insidental—lebih berkelanjutan dalam memitigasi perundungan. Disarankan penguatan monitoring berbasis data, pelibatan orang tua secara sistematis, dan dukungan kebijakan sekolah yang konsisten.

Abstract

Creative thinking is a key 21st-century skill, yet its development in elementary education remains limited due to traditional, teacher-centered methods. While inquiry-based learning promotes cognitive engagement and gamification fosters motivation, few instructional models combine both to enhance creativity systematically. This study developed and validated the INGAME model (Inquiry Model with Gamification Elements) using the ADDIE instructional design framework. A research and development (RD) approach guided the model’s creation, expert validation, and classroom implementation. Participants included 23 fifth-grade students and one teacher from an Indonesian public elementary school. Data were gathered through expert validation sheets, teacher and student questionnaires, creative thinking rubrics, observations, and interviews, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. Validation results showed high content and structural validity (mean = 90.16%). Practicality, based on teacher feedback, was rated as high (mean = 82%). Effectiveness was confirmed through both student self-assessments (mean = 79%) and creative thinking rubric scores, which showed improvement across Torrance’s four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration (average gain = +1.13). Observation data revealed active student engagement throughout the model’s eight gamified inquiry phases, averaging 85.8% participation. The INGAME model successfully integrates cognitive rigor with motivational design, offering a structured, scalable solution for fostering creativity in elementary classrooms. It contributes to educational innovation aligned with SDG 4 and national curriculum reform by operationalizing “motivated constructivism” through inquiry and gamification.

Abstract

Holistic-Integrative Early Childhood Development (PAUD HI) requires routine, evidence-based evaluation to document learning processes and communicate child development to families, yet many kindergarten settings still rely on fragmented documentation. This study examines whether TV Sekolah can function as an evidence-based tool for PAUD HI evaluation and as a digital child portfolio in a kindergarten cluster in Semarang. We employed a mixed-method exploratory design combining questionnaires and documentation/observation of platform use; participants included parents (n=24) and teachers (n=10). Results indicate that parental conceptual understanding remained limited (41.7% understood TV Sekolah, whereas 58.3% did not), but perceived informational value was high: 75.0% reported being satisfied (including 12.5% very satisfied) and 25.0% reported not being satisfied. Most parents also agreed that TV Sekolah increased their involvement in monitoring children’s activities and progress (83.3% agree). Teachers largely judged TV Sekolah effective as evaluation evidence (80% effective), though some reported integration constraints. In conclusion, TV Sekolah shows practical promise for strengthening PAUD HI evaluation and transparency, but schools should provide teacher training, integrate documentation into daily evaluation workflows, and deliver structured parent orientation to close comprehension gaps.

Abstract

This study aims to develop rhythmic gymnastics activities in the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at the Al Falaq Mosque Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. During two learning sessions. In the first session, children were introduced to the rhythmic gymnastics activities of Anak Indonesia Hebat. The second session focused on introducing rhythmic gymnastics movements aimed at evaluating children's overall understanding. The results of this study indicate that rhythmic gymnastics creates a cheerful, interactive and fun atmosphere that encourages children to be more active and enthusiastic. Through rhythmic gymnastics videos, children are more motivated and enthusiastic in following each session. This contributes to increasing their self-confidence and social skills, as they learn to interact and cooperate with their peers. The role of teachers in improving gross motor skills of early childhood through rhythmic gymnastics activities at the Al Falaq Mosque Islamic Kindergarten as a facilitator who creates a fun learning environment, directs movements, and motivates children to actively participate in rhythmic gymnastics activities. Teachers are also responsible for designing activities that are appropriate to the child's development, ensuring that every movement made can improve muscle strength, balance, and coordination.
