Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of Ubud Pakraman was really fast, especially in terms of the ability to anticipate the opportunities that come to Ubud region, which indicates the very dynamic community. The dynamics can be shown by the emergence of various movements towards economical and practical. However in the religious life that is ingrained in the structure of people's lives in Ubud is still strong and still function properly in the middle phase change from traditional to post a traditionalist.  The limit of the scope of this study discusses the process of development of rural tourism in Ubud Pakraman, of course, in the process of the development of socio-cultural changes that occur before and after the inclusion of tourism.  The results of this study indicate that there though characteristics or attitudes and new practices in the context of traditional.

Abstract

This research is about the management of which has been done and the development strategy of tourism “Bumi Sakti Alam Kerinci” province of Jambi Kerinci Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the application of management conducted by Disporaparbud based on management functions and define the priorities of the development strategy will be undertaken. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, library and documentation. Methods undertaken in this study analysed by Analitical chain processes are described qualitatively. The results of this research are indicating not optimal tourism management made during this so do not provide optimal development impact. This research resulted in the development of 6 strategies well for the optimal development of tourism kerinci. The strategy is calculated in advance does it weigh against management functions, and then produce a development strategy a priority in future development.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia has recently grown rapidly in one of them in the city of Bali. Bali has a very beautiful natural potential, one of the natural potentials developed is coastal tourism. Dream Island Mertasari Sanur Beach is one of the beaches that is still new but has a lot of potentials. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the existing conditions and marketing strategies that exist on Dream Island the Mertasari Beach Sanur Kauh City of Denpasar. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data. The primary data in this study are data sourced from direct observation to the location of the study and by interviewing informants. While secondary data in this study are data obtained from documentation and literature to complete the primary data. The technique of determining the informants used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the existing conditions on Dream Island Beach based on Concept 4a were still lacking. The condition of the attraction is very good but for access and facilities still, have some disadvantages that need to be improved in the future. The reality that is on Dream Island Beach only consists of private parties and village institutions. The marketing strategy at Dream Island Beach has not been optimal due to several problems such as business license constraints and lack of cooperation with promotional media. Abstract

This research is located at a Tourism Village Penglipuran, Bangli aims to determine the existing condition and synergy Desa Adat and Pengelola Pariwista Penglipuran in the development of tourism in Penglipuran Tourism Village, Bangli. Data collection techniques in this research are by observation, in-depth interviews, and study of the documentation relating to the secondary data in the field. The data have been obtained were analyzed by qualitative data analysis techniques that work with the data, organizing data, sorting them into manageable units, search and find patterns, find what is important, and what is learned, and deciding what can be describe to people other. Results of this study were concluded that the existing condition of Tourism Village Penglipuran includes, physical and non-physical condition. Synergies Desa Adat and Pengelola Pariwisata Penglipuran in the development of tourism at the Tourism Village Penglipuran is customary village as a tourism asset owners served as a maker and designer of the policy, while the tourism manager in charge of implementing the tourism policy. Moreover, in the management of the tourism activity undertaken by Pengelola Pariwisata, Desa Adat authorities to supervise all activities of tourism at the Tourism Village Penglipuran.

Abstract

Couchsurfing.com is social media which make traveler and local meet in tourist destination. Which is they dont know each other before meet. Share about anything and explore the tourist destination together. Purpose of this research is to know thet motivation of host on couchsurfing.com Denpasar area to be a tour guide for the traveler. This reseacrh used qualitative method. Data collected by observation, in-dept interview and literature study. Sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data analyzed through the stages of editing, classification, coding then interpretation. These results indicate that there is a lot of motivations of host couchsurfing.com Denpasar to be a tour guide for the traveler. The main motivations isself-actualization, includes practicing foreign language skills, train travel guides skill, improve personal communication skills, understand the character of the travelers, and dream. The second motivation is esteem needs, prestige and showing hospitality are the part of it. The three last motivation are belongingness and love needs, safety needs, physiological needs. Abstract

The tourist attraction of Batu Cermin Cave is a tourist attraction located in the city center of Labuan Bajo. Attractions offered to tourists who end up in Batu Cermin Cave in the form of natural attractions along the Cave where there are Wisatawaan Stalagtics and Stalagmites who visit Batu Cermin Cave are dominated by tourists from the archipelago. For now the management of Batu Cermin Cave tourist attraction is still managed by the local government in this case is the West Manggarai District Tourism and Culture Service. Later the management of Batu Cermin Cave will involve the Batu Cermin village so that in this study we will discuss "The Response of Batu Cermin Village Community in the Development of Tourism Attractions in Batu Cermin Cave, Labuan Bajo". The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques to explain the public response in the development of tourism in the tourist attraction of Batu Cermin Cave. The data source consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and literature study. The determination of informants in this study used the Snowball technique. Abstract

Bali Hai Cruise is one of the companies engaged in marine tourism at Lembongan village, Klungkung regency. The cruise has been established for 28 years and until now still maintained its existence as one providers of the marine tourism providers in Bali. They offer exclusive day trips at Lembongan just in one day. This research aims to provide an overview of the marine tourism attractions and find out public relations strategy of Bali Hai Cruise. This research uses qualitative data. Data is collected by observation, interview and literature study. There are several key concepst of this research, such as: strategy, public relations, public relations strategy, and marine tourism. The result of the research shows that Bali Hai Cruise have a public relations strategy based on internal company relationship by maintaining the quality of human resources and still give attention on the right employee, although the company has not been consistent in financial management. While on external company relations, Bali Hai Cruise is focusing on maintaining the image and brand of the company, even though the company still gets protests from the public because of coastal private beach. Abstract

This research aims to provide a description of prostitution and drugs in nightclubs in Seminyak. Honesty, thus research not to find out who is right or wrong, precisely to emphasize understanding the tourism phenomenon from a different side. The research paradigm is qualitative with ethnographic methods, field research and qualitative techniques. The results showed that sex workers and drug users in Seminyak were not simple problems. Related to the development of the tourism sector, on the one hand, the pursuit of economic growth and the welfare of the community. But on the other hand, it triggers a lot of intrigue and strategies of actors or agent to remain, survive or get stronger in tourism practices in nightclubs. The field research finding controlled abandonment concept have strength evidence that prostitution and drugs exist but are needed according to the agent's interests. Abstract

Nowadays, the use of social media instagram as a media for tourism information and travel guide by tourists increase rapidly. Especially in Canggu area Bali, which is one of top 5 popular destination in Bali based on the number of top keywords on instagram. The aim of this research is to identify and link the charactheristics and behavior of foreign tourists in digital era who use instagram as a travel guide in Canggu area, Bali. This research used quantitative methods and used simple descriptive statistic analysis. The result of this research shows that the charactheristics and behavior of foreign tourist in Canggu area, Bali are related each others. Data showed that dominance of the charactheristics from young tourists, with an average educational background of bachelor degree, and work as a blogger can influences of tourists’ behavior in social media.
