Abstract

The design of this device will help people who want to cultivate the pangas catfish by monitoring water quality based on predetermined parameters. This water quality monitoring system device will carry out water quality readings for the farming with temperature sensor, pH sensor, and turbidity sensor. The results which gained from the sensors will be processed by NodeMCU that is used for the microcontroller. The final results of the data obtained will be processed by the microcontroller NodeMCU and will be sent to the IP Address which is supplied by the provider and will be displayed by the device that had been connected to the IP Address provided. From the results of the overall tool testing, this system can work well, thus it can detect good water quality and warning water quality for pangas catfish farming and also send the data to the web server through web browser’s application in both smartphones or laptop/pcs if the quality of the water in a “good” (save) or “warning” condition.

Abstract

Internet Protocol Televisi (IPTV) adalah sistem layanan televisi yang dikirim menggunakan metode Internet Protocol (IP) melalui infrastruktur jaringan. Dengan berbasis IP address, memiliki keuntungan membuat tampilan TV menjadi lebih interaktif. Secara umum implementasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem jaringan IPTV sederhana dengan menggunakan layanan dari Emby Media Server sebagai server dari IPTV. Konten layanan IPTV menggunakan layanan Video on Demand (VoD) dan layanan Live Tv. Pengukuran parameter QoS pada jaringan infrastruktur teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang ada di Universitas Udayana menggunakan software wireshark. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai Packet Loss, Throughput, Delay dan Jitter yang di dapat telah memenuhi standarisasi QoS dari TIPHON.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the existing optical network conditions that use point to point technology with GPON network designed for Udayana University campuses area in Bukit Jimbaran Bali. The Existing optical network is currently able to serve only 14 buildings from 77 existing productive buildings due to the limited number of available optical cores.. It means in order to connect each building at the campuses area, it is required much more optical fiber. Alternatively is using Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology. This research was conducted by analyzing the condition of the existing optical network and designing the GPON network. Here are compared some network feasibility parameters ie Link Power Budget, Rise Time Budget and Bit Error Rate. Then compare the use of cores, the number of subscribers as well as device estimation and transmission costs. The study found that to connect all of the buildings are GPON configuration required only 22 optical cores, compared to 154 cores for eksisting network designs. However, the GPON design has lower network quality but is simpler and much more economical if it is implemented for a wide network.

Abstract

Gigabit Passive Optical Network is an optical fiber-based access network technology that is able to provide high data rates and bandwidth. With these advantages, PT. TELKOM applies it to IndiHome services. STO Sukawati has just finished the migration process so that an analysis of service quality is needed to ensure that it is in accordance with ITU-T.G.984 standards. The purpose of this study was to study how the quality of the Sukawati STO IndiHome Link service network. The method used in this study is the method of measurement, calculation and simulation. In the data measurement method taken at PT. Telkom. The calculation method is done mathematically and the simulation method uses the OptiSystem program. The results of measurements, calculations and simulations are compared and then classified according to the standard ITU-T G.984. The parameters that are compared are Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, BER, and Q-factor. The measurement results for the furthest customers were obtained by Prx, which was -21.823 dBm, in the simulation and calculation obtained -19,964 dBm and -19,985 dBm. For the Rise Time Budget calculation a total rise time of 0.264 ns is still below the maximum rise time of the NRZ signal bit rate of 0.2917 ns. The results of BER and Q-factor were obtained 1.3x10-17 and 8.45857. The quality of the IndiHome network is categorized as feasible, because it meets the ITU-T G.984 standard.

Abstract

Perencanaan sistem jaringan LTE dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor kontur wilayah yang berbeda. Kontur permukaan wilayah berpengaruh terhadap cakupan area yang dihasilkan suatu base station. Perencanaan jaringan berdasarkan analisis perhitungan, tidak mempertimbangkan kontur wilayah, maka untuk menunjang hal tersebut diperlukan simulasi menggunakan software Atoll. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan dan simulasi software Atoll. Penempatan base station memanfaatkan 385 Bale Banjar sebagai titik site menara rooftop. Penempatan ini dilakukan di Bale Banjar dikarenakan mudahnya akses perijinan tempat, seperti base station pada Bale Banjar Balun. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pemodelan simulasi jarak jangkauan antena base station dengan model propagasi Cost-231 Hatta frekuensi 1800 MHz, diperoleh jarak sebesar 1,186 km. Simulasi perencanaan sistem LTE di wilayah kota Denpasar memerlukan 55 site, terdiri dari 54 site yang memanfaatkan Bale Banjar untuk menempatkan base station dan 1 site di luar kawasan Bale Banjar, serta diperlukan pengaturan electrical tilt sebanyak 40 site untuk mengatasi permasalahan cakupan area.

Abstract

Pengimplementasian Long Term Evolution (LTE) di Bali mengalami kendala terutama dalam menjaga performansi jaringan yang diakibatkan oleh lonjakan data yang semakin meningkat dan kualitas coverage yang kurang maksimal. Maka perlu dilakukan pemeliharaan jaringan untuk mengetahui kualitas dari suatu jaringan yang dapat dilakukan melalui pengamatan secara real di lapangan dengan pengukuran parameter 4G LTE pada suatu wilayah yang belum optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan Drive Test menggunakan software GENEX Probe dan analisa hasil drive test menggunakan software GENEX Assistant. Adapun parameter yang diukur antara lain RSRP, SINR, RSSI, RSRQ, CQI, PCI dan PDCP Throughput yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar KPI XL. Hasil dan analisa diperoleh nilai RSRP sebesar 93,36% > -105 dBm, SINR sebesar 91,14% > 3 dB, PDCP DL Throughput sebesar 92,18% > 5 Mbps dan PDCP UL Throughput sebesar 88,73% > 3 Mbps yang belum memenuhi standar KPI XL sebesar 95% diakibatkan oleh faktor variasi obstacle sehingga terjadi area bad spot pada beberapa titik wilayah. Optimalisasi yang dilakukan menggunakan metode mekanikal tilt dengan mengubah tilt antena dari 20 menjadi 30 pada area bad spot menyebabkan peningkatan performansi RSRP sebesar 3,49%, SINR sebesar 5,91%, PDCP Download Throughput sebesar 4,7% dan PDCP Upload Throughput sebesar 10,73% dari standar Key Performance Indicator (KPI) XL.

Abstract

Drop call is an example of a problem that is often experienced by users of voice telecommunications services. From this condition, this riset raises the topic of drop call analysis on WCDMA networks in the Renon cluster (nodeB MYAMIN_CR, AKABA_PL, and BUNDARANRENON_PL). Data retrieval needed (Call Set Up Success Rate (CSSR), Call Drop Ratio (CDR), RSCP and Ec/No) is done by drive test using G-NetTrack Pro software. Based on the analysis of the results of the drive test, there were 10 drop call problems. The problems indentified cause by missing neighbors, handover failure, bad spot, coverage problems and overshoot. Bad spots, coverage problems, and overshoot are the initial causes of missing neighbors and handovers failure. Missing neighbors and handover failure begins with the poor value of RSCP and Ec/No, so that the cellphone will try to do a handover. To analyze the drive test results, drive test data is carried out using Atoll software. From the comparison found extreme conditions resulting from obstacle which cause a significant difference in value between the results of the drive test and simulation. The high attenuation rate drop call location due to the obstacle also results in RSCP and Ec/No values being obtained when measurements in the field are low. The low parameter values of RSCP and Ec / No then cause a drop call.

Abstract

Saat ini Teknologi video digital banyak digunakan pada aplikasi hiburan, contohnya adalah TV Digital dengan format HD. Dengan frame rate tinggi, pengkodean video akan menghasil laju bit lebih tinggi yaitu sampai 15 – 30 fps. Permasalahannya adalah kapasitas saluran transmisi memiliki kapasitas terbatas. Solusinya adalah menurunkan laju bit dengan menurunkan jumlah frame video ke penerima. Skema ini dikenal dengan Frame Rate Up-Conversion (FRUC) video, dimana frame yang di encoder akan direkonstruksi kembali di decoder dengan membangkitkan frame intermediate (FI). FI dibangkitkan dengan teknik Motion Compensation Interpolation (MCI). Terkait dengan metode FRUC, penelitian ini mengajukan skema MCI unidirectional dengan pencarian gerak akurasi setengah piksel. Pada skema ini, sebuah motion vector (MV) kandidat akan dicari di frame referensi, proses estimasi gerak dilakukan dengan menambah piksel sisipan diantara piksel eksisting. Sasarannya adalah meningkatkan akurasi MV kandidat. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diajukan lebih baik sampai sebesar masing – masing 3,21 dB dan 3,11 dB pada wilayah pencarian 7 dan 15 piksel dibandingkan dengan metode frame repetition untuk sekuen video foreman dan hall monitor.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the field of education has developed very rapidly, e-learning is one example of the development of information technology of education. To optimize the e-learning system in an area, adequate network infrastructure is needed. This research aims to improve the WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) network infrastructure in the campus area of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran. This research was conducted in 3 stages, namely measuring the capacity and range of access points directly, calculating the access point signal level, and using simulations to calculate the number and range of access points using the Atoll Rf Planning software. Based on the results of measurements and calculations obtained, the results of the 3 stages of the research carried out found the farthest range of indoor and outdoor access points each 12 meters and 22.6 meters. The total number of access points needed for indoor and outdoor positions as a whole in accordance with the simulation results requires as many as 22 access points.

Abstract

In this study aims to analyze the use of Community radio frequency (Rakom) in Denpasar and byanalyzing the number of channels allocated frequency and the amount of authorized community radioauthorization in the city of Denpasar. It is hoped that the study is expected to give an overview of howavailability community radio channels in Denpasar City area. To be able to avoid interference in theservice area on radio community broadcasts in the city of Denpasar. Conducted analysis andsimulation of mapping of new LPK Radio services (community broadcasting institutions). Themeasured parameters include the calculation of the Budget link and the measurement results obtainedin the field which is then compared with the theory. Based on the results of simulated analysismapping and calculations used, in the area of Denpasar city there can only be 2 (two) radiocommunities.
