Abstract

Technological developments are very fast, especially the use of Internet technology. So many people are switching from a desktop application to a web based application function due to a more dynamic. Furthermore, it can be accessed anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.Understanding internet traffic is very useful in analizing performance of the internet services. In general there are two types of traffic pattern, they are continuous and bursty traffic. The bursty traffic shows pattern of volatile and unpredictable with sudden spikes in traffic volume.Increment of multimedia applications in the internet currently, causes the UDP traffic is widespread on the internet that could cause network congestion and threaten the TCP traffic. It mainly appears issues of fairness between the two protocols. Hence, in 2006, the IETF introduced a new protocol called Datagram Congestion Control Protocol ( DCCP ) CCID2 and CCID3.In our study, based on the test results of TCP and DCCP protocol, showed a comparison of performance test for QoS parameters and fairness which found that overall protocol TCP has better performance than protocol DCCP for bursty data traffic on packet loss and delay. On the other hand, in terms of the bandwidth utilization, it shows that network performance TCP and DCCP did not show any significant differences. Moreover in terms of fairness, it can be seen that the DCCP  protocol CCID-3 is better than the DCCP CCID-2.

Abstract

Chicken diseases often fear chicken farmers. In many cases, chicken diseases can reduce egg productivity of chickens. If there is one chicken affected and it doesn’t handle quickly and precisely, it indirectly can cause the other chickens affected as well that could potentially lead to death. On the other hand, there are limitation number of chicken veterinary in rural areas. Hence, the affected chickens cannot be handled as soon as possible. In this paper, we build an expert system with certainty factor method that is able to diagnose the chicken diseases computationally. Testing results shows that the expert system can identify chicken diseases with accuracy of 92,8%. The results were obtained by testing through 14 chickens that bear chicken diseases. Keywords: Expert System, Certainty Factor, Disease chicken

Abstract

The diversity of the community in Surabaya can be quite diverse. In addition to the public consists of Surabaya city itself, also consists of non-Surabaya. The Surabaya city communities would require public facilities such as hospitals, bank, or university. Non-residents of Surabaya is not easy to find the desired public facilities, given that non-Surabaya residents do not know the location of public facilities in the city of Surabaya.Existence of the desired public facilities as well as the route to be taken. To support this capability, this system will be developed on Android-based mobile devices for supporting feature Global Positioning System (GPS) and mobile Google Map (mGMap). In order for the location of public facilities as well as the route to be taken by the more accurate method used Ant Colony, Ant Colony method work is by adding pheromone on edge-edge which is the best part of the tour are determined from the start of the algorithm is executed. The advantage of this method is capable of determining the shortest distance to the desired location of public facilities accurately by using more parameters. Some of the most influential parameter is the number of cycles, the number of routes, as well as the number of nodes used.With this system people are expected to know the location of Surabaya public facilities appropriately and accurately. In addition, the system developed along the shortest route to the place of public facilities desired by the user and the shortest alternative route. Keyword: Android, Route, Location, GPS

Abstract

Processing value of final report in SMK Negeri 1 Cerme should be based on the curriculum of 2013.  Problem that occurs in the curiculum 2013 is that every teacher  must delve with rules for marking process that is considered to be more difficult than the previous curriculum. In that curriculum, every subjects consist of several types marking, i.e marking for knowledge acceptance comprises of daily marking, mid term exam and final a lot of final. Second  marking for skill comprises of laboratorium marking, projects and portfolio. The last type of marking is the attitude marking that consist of observations, self-assessment, peer assessment. After having the value of knowledge, skills and attitude then do checking on the value of the minimum completeness criteria, if the value is in compliance then calculated the ledger value from all values. After the interval values are converted according to standards that have been defined on the SMK, which will be obtained predicate value and the value of the description.With the application for processing the value of report cards, is expected value will be arranged neatly, and can control the value easily, because there will be a notification regarding the value has not been entered. The headmaster also facilitated in monitoring development of value each lesson. While students will also easy to see the value they get from teaching and learning activities at this time.

Abstract

Dogs are common animal that found as pets in Indonesia. Indonesia as a tropical country has a high humidity, where fungi and parasites easily to multiply on animal skin. The fungi and parasites are one of the causes of dog skin diseases. Worsely, dog skin diseases can be transmitted to other animals as well as humans. When dog skin diseases are not treated properly they can excruciate the dog condition, because it can lead to the emergence of other diseases simultaneously, and it can even bring the dog to death.The limitation informative tools in identifying dog skin diseases can cause retardationin handling the disease. In this work, we provide an expert system to identify the dog skin diseases and give suggestion as to how to handle it. The skin diseases in dogs have similar symptoms between each other. The degree of belief of the symptoms determines the disease identification.Hence, in order to accommodate the identification process, an expert system is built by using the certainty factor method.Based on the result,it is shown that the expert system is able to identify dog skin disease with 91.67% accuracy derived from the twelve tests. The tests were done by the appointed expert in this area.

Abstract

The cause of low yield of soybean in Indonesia, among others is a disease. To find out what disease that attacks soybean crops needed an expert in the field of agriculture. Disease that often impairs the soybean plant is rust. In addition to lowering the yield, rust disease also potentially lower the quality of soybean seeds. In addition to these there are many more diseases that are present in the soy plant. Expert system for soybean disease defines is one alternative to detect disease of soybean. The method used is rule based system and forward chaining method. The system will be made to provide an unbiased decision about the type of disease affecting soybean and handling. Web based system is built in order to spread information more accessible. Result of the application that have been tested by three expert crops by conducting interview and application testing performed eight times on each trial expert. Based on test result obtained from 24 experiments by expert is 22 times the experiment successfully identified soybean disease and two trials did not identify soybean disease. The trial result concluded the expert system can determine soybean disease based on symptoms in plant soybean.

Abstract

The low quality of the chocolate in Indonesia is because the cocoa plantations in Indonesia are always threatened by pests and plant diseases. Insect pest species whose numbers are greatest for cocoa crop in Indonesia for more than 130 species. This resulted in a lot of brown plants that could have been saved to die and decrease the quality of the chocolate. If this is allowed to continue, then it will impact on the level of productivity of the cocoa plant.Based on the above, the cocoa plantations requires an expert system which can provide information about diseases that attack plants brown and provide solutions to deal with the disease. This expert system application aims to help growers determine the type of chocolate for the disease being attacked by the brown plant disease symptoms are visible and also with the application of expert system, can generate solutions to deal with brown plants are diseased, so many chocolate plant are saved and it can increase production and also quality.Application of expert systems with rule-based system using forward chaining methods to help the cocoa plantations in order to know the type of disease that is attacking the brown plant based on the symptoms of the disease are seen.Keyword: Technology, forward chaining, Expert, Chocolate

Abstract

Kihon is the fundamental knowledge which is important to learn Karate. Kihon consists of stances, punches, and kicks. In traditional learning environment, Karate teachers have difficulty in monitoring student position in learning Karate. This paper present an approach to overcome this problem by using Kinect sensor data to capture student position then compare the elevation degree of selected joint. As a result, we developed an application that could measuring body position compared to stored model position. By using skeleton stream which has vector data, we can estimate the angle between two vector and save it as reference for further assessment with user model. This application has accuracy rate of 83% for performing above mentioned task.

Abstract

CV. Gemilang Indonesia (CV. GI) is a company engaged in the field of printing. The production process is currently using machines that work in sequence, starting from the plating machine, a big printing machine, two small printing machines, one machine collator and cutting machines. As such, in the period September 2015 – February 2016 the percentage of delays in processing orders reached 41%. The delays of the production process occurs because the company does not employ any optimization methods for scheduling the machines. For example, there are some products for one order, hence, each product needed to be processed sequentially for each machine. In this case, when the ordered – products are still being processed by the first machine, the orther machines will be idle waiting for the first machine completes the task. To overcome this problems, in this work, we develope an application for scheduling the production in the CV.GI utilizing the First Come First Serve (FCFS), Longest Processing Time (LPT), Shortest Processing Time (SPT), and the Earliest Due Date (EDD). The result of this research is about 94% which means the scheduling production system is feasible to use and can help company in the production schedule.
