Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the role of teachers in instilling social attitudes of grade V students through the social studies learning process Face-to-face is limited. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Subject This study included five student respondents and one grade V B elementary school teacher Mangkubumen Kidul No. 16 Surakarta. Data collection is carried out by observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques. Test the validity of data in This study used triangulation techniques and time. Data analysis using interactive analysis models by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study show that teachers instill social attitudes in social studies learning through the application of learning strategies in the form of routine activities, modeling activities, and spontaneous activities. Each component of RPP are linked to instilling social attitudes at the beginning, core, and end of learning. Based on data analysis related to the form of instilling social attitudes, the average grade V B student has shown a form of honest social attitude, courtesy, discipline, tolerance, and please help. It can be concluded that the teacher plays an important role in instilling students' social attitudes in the process Face-to-face social studies learning is limited to class V B.Kata kunci: Instillation of social attitudes, Social Sciences, limited face-to-face learning, primary school, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to increase the motivation for IPS learning through the application of a scramble learning model to students in Grade IV of Krasak Boyolali State Elementary School in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study is a class action study (PTK) consisting of two cycles in which each cycle consists of two encounters and each cycle consists of four stages of action: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this class action study are class IV class 1 student Krasak Boyolali Krasak, in the 2021/2022 school year. The number of research subjects is 9 research subjects. Data collection techniques by observation, retrieval, interviews and documentation. The tests of data validity in this study are source triangulation and engineering triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this study used the Milles and Huberman analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conversion drawing/verification. The results of the assessment show an improvement in the learning motivation of the student is evidenced by the increase in the presentation results of the study motivation set of the student, observation result and test scores of the student starting from preaction, cycle I, and cycle II. Based on the results from the study, the average percentage of participants' motivation score was 56.91% at the time of pre-action, then cycle I was 73.29%, and cycle II was 88.79%. The results of this study show that there has been an increase in each cycle of research action. This study concludes that the application of the scramble learning model can increase the learning motivation of students in Grade IV of Krasak Boyolali State Elementary School in the 2021/2022 school year.

Abstract

Increasing the problem solving skills  by applying Missouri Mathematics Project model is the purpose of this research. This research is Classroom Action research with two cycles. Students of the 4th  SD N Setono No.95 Surakarta on the 2019/2020, the subject all of students at class totaling 33 students. Data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, test, and documentation. Data analysis are source and technique triangulation, and content validity. Analysis of the data used is the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The initial conditions of problem solving skills of 4th students showed 0%. The cycle I resulting in a percentage is 30,3%. The cycle II producing a percentage is 84,84%. Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that the problem solving skills on 4 th students of SD N Setono No. 95 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 can be improved through the Missouri Mathematics Project model. This research contributed to be used as a reference and be a development in varied learning activities in mathematics subject.

Abstract

This research purpose to analtyze the errors carried out by student based on prosedural analysis Newman Error Analysis ini solving fraction material story questions. Newman’s analysis stresses on five spresific activity, which were reading, comprehension, transformation, process skill, and encoding. This research used qualitative with a sigle instrument. The subjects of this research were 5th grade students form SD Negeri Kawatan No 19 Surakarta academic year 2020/. The research subjects were taken purpoisvely with the consideration of predetermined criteria. The validity test technique used source triangulation and ted tehcnical triangulation. In the research used data analysis technique the domain analysis model and interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman.The result of this research showed the percentage from the most errors to the smallest error made by students in solving fraction material story questions, namely writing errors questions, encoding error 100% of the answers followed by process skills error 91,66% and transformation errors 37,5%.The existence of this error analysis can help teachers to correct existing error apply more caried ethod in accordance with subsequent mathematics leraning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties in solving the story problem material of HCF and LCM in students of  class IV MI Syafaat Muhammadiyah with a cognitive style field dependent and field independent. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. subjects were selected by purposive sampling, obtained 6 research subjects based on the results of the GEFT test. Data collection techniques in this study used the test, interview, and  documentation  methods. The analytical framework was developed based on Newman’s error category. The results of the analysis  obtained five  error types, namely (1) reading errors, (2) comprehension errors, (3) transformation errors, (4) process skills errors, (5) encoding errors. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the difficulty of students in solving story problems was (a) lack of comprehension of the problem posed, (b inability to translate the problem into mathematical form), (c) lack of strategy knowledge, (d) inability to use the correct mathematics. The difficulties that most often occur to students are difficulties in applying the HCF and LCM concepts and difficulties in carrying out mathematical arithmetic operations.

Abstract

This research aims to improve problem solving skills of circumference and area of plane object’s stories matter for third grade students of Mojosongo II No. 177 Elementary School in 2018/2019 academic year by applying Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristic. This research consisted of two cycles, each cycle includes two learnings. Subject and data source in this reaserch were teacher and student of third grade Mojosongo II No. 177 Elementary School. Interviews, observations, tests, and document analysis is this research datas collection. This research uses descriptive comparative analysis techniques and interactive analysis techniques. Source triangulation and technical triangulation used for data validity. Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Quizizz Application as a medium for assessing social studies learning outcomes in online learning according to the assessment procedure in the cognitive domain of fourth-grade students at SDN Sondakan No. 11 Academic Year 2021/2022. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research data source comes from interview transcripts and questionnaires for fourth-grade teacher, the fourth-grade student questionnaire, and document studies. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The data validity test technique used is technique triangulation and source triangulation. This study uses the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the assessment using the Quizizz assessment media carried out by teacher at the planning stage of the assessment has not made a question grid and validation questions due to time constraints and the making of scoring guidelines are made at the assessment processing stage. At the stage of reporting and utilizing the results of the assessment, the teacher has not implemented remedial and enrichment due to the lack of time, then the teacher also has not made maximum use of the features contained in Quizizz, especially in the implementation of feedback.

Abstract

Reading become the most important aspect of Bahasa Indonesia learning because reading is some activity that implicate visual activity start from translating until understanding the poin of the text. The good comprehension reading capability is when someone competent to understanding the content of the text. There are some indicators to measure the comprehension reading capability. Comprehension reading capability should be implemented to elementary school studentespecially at grade V. Basic competency that demand the student to understand and analysis the text need to use the comprehension reading capability. Obstacle that happen frequently are students that have less interest about a text. This low interest to learn a text make them have a low comprehension reading capability. Research to Djama’atul Ichwan elementary school students at grade V represent that their comprehension reading capability are good enough seen from the high study interest. With thath high study interest and high effort will get the good comprehension reading capability.

Abstract

Abstract. Understanding the content of reading text is one of the language skills included in reading skills. This study aims to describe the ability of fourth grade students in understanding the contents of fictional texts in terms of Barrett's taxonomy theory, developed by focusing on literal comprehension and appreciation comprehension. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students and fourth grade teachers at Soropadan Elementary School. The data collection used in this research was observation, tests, interviews with fourth grade students and fourth grade teachers, and document studies. The data analysis technique in this study used the interactive data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity testing technique uses source and technique triangulation. The results of this study show that the percentage obtained on the literal understanding comprehension is 91.35% and 35.79% on the appreciation comprehension. The results of the study show that students perform better in literal comprehension than in appreciation comprehension.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the skills of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) which is the goal of the 2013 curriculum. But, 102 Totosari State Elementary School students still have a low critical thinking level. This research aimed to improve student’s critical thinking by implementing RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) learning model for 5th Grade 102 Totosari Elementary School Students Surakarta Academic Year 2019/2020. This research used Classroom Action Research as the method and it formed of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four steps: planning, implementing, observing, and conducting reflection. The participant of the research is 24 students of 5th-grade 102 Totosari State Elementary School Surakarta Academic Year 2019/2020. The teacher, critical thinking data score, and other documents became the data source. Source and technique triangulation used to check data validity. Data analysis used the interactive analysis model consisted of three components including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.This result showed that the critical thinking level of 5th-grade students increased through the implementation of the RME learning model. The improvement evidenced from the students’ actions until the second meeting of second cycles. The result showed an 83% improvement of 8% pre-action. This research can be used as a source in other studies in improving critical thinking skill.
