Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the conceptual comprehension on photosynthesis by implementing Outdoor Study. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Every cycle consisted of four steps namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Teachers and fourth grade students were the subject and sources of data in this research. The techniques of collecting data in this research were documentation, interview, observation, and test. The methods of data validity used were triangulation of source and triangulation of technique. The techniques of data analysis used in this research were comparative descriptive and interactive technique analysis. Conclusion of this research is implementing Outdoor Study can enhance the conceptual comprehension on photosynthesis.

Abstract

The teacher have responsibility to encourage the development of quality learning outcomes in students. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes water cycle by applying experiments based of two stay two stray model in fifth grade elementary school. The type of this research is classroom action research held in three cycles. The subject of this research is fifth grade elementary school amounting to 25 students, researchers and the teacher in that class. The data were collected by interview, observation, test, and document review. Data validity is tested by content validity, triangulation of source and technique. The data analysis used descriptive comparative technique and interactive analysis model Miles Huberman. The conclusion of this research is experiments based of two stay two stray model can improve the learning outcomes water cycle.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the meaning of parental involvement in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN Gesikan Desa Gesikan in 2020. Parents have an important involvement in the online learning process carried out by children during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parental involvement includes providing facilities, motivation, and guiding online learning. This research is classified into qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were parents, students, and teachers at SDN Gesikan. The selection of research subjects was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using Miles and Hubeman through data collection, data reduction, and data verification. The data validity used source triangulation. The results showed that parents were involved in children's online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parental involvement in the online learning process experienced by children includes providing facilities, motivation, and guidance. Parents feel sad about children's online learning due to the lack of explanation from the teacher.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe parental support for the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Karangasem 1 elementary school, Surakarta. This research is a qualitative study using a phenomenological research design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations. The data validity test technique used triangulation of sources. Data analysis is obtained from the results of data collection using interactive analysis which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that parents fully supported online learning, forms of parental support included parental involvement in learning and facilities provided by parents for online learning. Obstacles in the implementation of online learning according to parents include stubborn children, using learning facilities other than for learning, and discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi persepsi guru dan siswa mengenai pembelajaran online, serta untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang terjadi dalam penerapan pembelajaan online mata pelajaran matematika di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sruni.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data primer dan data sekunder merupakan data dalam penelitian ini. Data primer diperoleh dari wawancara dengan guru wali kelas V dan siswa kelas V serta dari hasil observasi lapangan di SD Negeri 1 sruni. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih adalah 1 wali kelas V dan 4 siswa kelas V yang dipilih dengan menggunkan kriteria tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi . Uji validitas data menggunkan triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data interaktif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru dan siswa berpersepsi bahwa pembelajaran online adalah pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan jaringan internet dan smartphone dengan mengunakan aplikasi atau platform pemebelajaran dan dapat dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja, tanpa harus bertatap muka secara langsung. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan pembelajaran online ini adalah signal yang tidak stabil, memerlukan biaya tambahan, minimnya perhatian dari orang tua, Rendahnya pemahaman dan kemampuan siswa dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi atau Platform  pembelajaran online. Kesulitan dalam mengukur kemampuan dan tingkat pemahaman siswa mengenai materi yang disampaikan. Permasalahan dalam penerapan pembelajaran matematika di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sruni secara online adalah Pemahaman siswa terhadap materi matematika kurang maksimal. Pemahaman siswa yang berbeda-beda.

Abstract

Batik merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang harus selalu dilestarikan oleh bangsa Indonesia. Salah satu motif batik yaitu berasal dari Kabupaten Ngawi. Motif yang ada di dalam batik bukan hanya untuk nilai estetik saja melainkan mempunyai makna sendiri. Setiap motif batik tentunya mempunyai makna tersendiri. Sehingga makna tersebut diduga bisa berkontribusi untuk dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter sangat diperlukan untuk anak sekolah dasar selain dari pengetahuan kognitifnya dan psikomotornya saja. Maka dilakukan penelitian mengenai motif batik dalam pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan hermeneutik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah motif batik Ngawi mempunyai makna yang terkandung nilai karakter untuk pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Dasar. penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan hermaneutik. Hasilnya didapat berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara terdapat motif batik yang mempunyai makna dan nilai karakter yaitu motif batik Wahyu Ngawiyatan, Motif batik Srambang Park dan juga Motif Batik Benteng Pendem.

Abstract

Science learning in the 21st century requires teachers who are skilled at integrating technology functions into interactive science learning by utilizing multimedia to support students' scientific mastery of science concepts. However, the digital pedagogical skills of primary school teachers are still weak. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the professional learning communities (PLC) model developed to improve the digital pedagogy skills of elementary school teachers in science learning. This research is research and development at the stage of operational field testing. The study applied the pretest posttest control group design method. The research data was collected through tests of teachers' digital pedagogical skills in terms of learning tools. The research sample was 52 elementary school teachers in Surakarta City. The results of the study obtained a sig score. (2-tailed) of 0.002 <0.05 so it was concluded that the digital pedagogy skills of teachers in the experimental group were better than the control group. It can be concluded that the developed PLC model has been effective in improving the digital pedagogy skills of elementary school teachers in learning science.

Abstract

Science Process Skills are students' key to acquiring science knowledge scientifically. However, the state of SPS in elementary school students is still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-based Learning (PJBL) learning model in science learning on students' science process skills (SPS) in elementary schools. The study used a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was 350 fifth grade elementary school students in Surakarta City. Samples were chosen randomly. The data collection technique uses the SPS test in terms of the learning process. Data analysis was performed using the independent t-test. The research results obtained a significance value at the 95% confidence level of 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a difference between students in the experimental and control groups. Students who use the PJBL model have a higher SPS compared to the learning model that is usually applied in class (assignments). Research recommends that teachers be able to design PJBL learning for better student SPS.

Abstract

One important skill that must be developed through school is critical thinking. The use of project-based learning strategies is one technique for improving critical thinking skills. This research seeks to determine the impact of the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities, as well as the effect of implementing the model on these abilities. In addition, this research aims to determine the extent of the influence of the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities at SD Gugus 3 Laweyan Surakarta. This research uses a quasi-experimental design and quantitative methodology. This research uses a pretest-posttest control group design as the research methodology. There are two classes that are the research sample, namely Class 5 and Class 6.
