Abstract

The purpose of this study are to improve students’ motivation by using model of NHT cooperative learning in the grade students’ of grade IV SDN 02 Doplang,   through the use of NHT type cooperative model. The form of the research is action research. Data collection used questionnaires and observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of this study concluded that the using of cooperative learning model NHT type can increase the motivation of students. In the pre-action obtain by the average students’ motivation 60,88, cycle first for 72,80, cycle II for 84,20.

Abstract

Pendekatan pembelajaran pada era sekarang ini sudah bergeser pada pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, kritis dan menyenangkan, sehingga akan tercipta pembelajaran yang bermakna. Hal tersebut dilandasi oleh tantangan pendidikan abad 21, yang menuntut siswa agar memiliki keterampilan berkomunikasi dan penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi melalui proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini sudah mengarah pada tantangan abad 21, hal tersebut dibuktikan dari diterapkannya Kurikulum 2013 yang menekankan pada proses pembelajaran. Kendala yang ditemukan selama ini adalah masih sulit sekali melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada siswa. Hal tersebut tidak hanya ditemui pada tingkatan sekolah lanjut, akan tetapi dari tingkatan sekolah dasar. Pentingnya melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada siswa sejak tingkatan sekolah dasar adalah untuk mengembangkan pola pemikiran berkelanjutan pada siswa. Namun, kecenderungan pembelajaran matematika yang diajarkan saat ini masih menekankan pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat rendah. Indikasinya bisa dilihat dari pembelajaran selalu menggunakan metode menghafal dari buku. Selain itu, kebanyakan guru masih sulit mengajarkan dan membiasakan cara berpikir tingkat tinggi pada peserta didiknya. Hal tersebut dikarenakan masih kurangnya pengetahuan guru mengenai implementasi pembelajaran HOTS. Pada dasarnya untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi diperlukan keterampilan berpikir tingkat rendah sebagai dasar, tetapi akan lebih baik keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi mulai dilatih sejak siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi ini akan membuat siswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan sesuai dengan tantangan pendidikan abad 21.

Abstract

The research was conducted to analyze the teacher’s role to increasing students reading interest. The teacher’s role is important because teacher guides, encourages, and monitors the students. Increasing students reading interest is important. Some students don’t like reading because of a lack of reading habits and affected by technological advances. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods and a case study approach. The research was conducted at Karangasem 3 Elementary School in 2020. The subject is the teacher. The data are obtained from the location, teachers, and students. The data are obtained from observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data validity used source and technique triangulation. Analysis using interactive analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the teacher's role in increasing students reading interest was applied by creating, facilitating, motivating, evaluating, and dynamizing reading activities. As a creator, the teacher makes new ideas in reading, as a facilitator the teacher provides physical facilities (infrastructure) and non-physical (services) related to reading activities, as a motivator the teacher always encourages students, as a evaluator, teacher evaluates the achievement of reading activities, and as a teacher dynamic, making reading activities continuity.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengelolaan kelas selama pembelajaran dari pada guru kelas di SD Negeri Karangasem No. 3 Surakarta serta mendeskripsikan hambatan yang dialami guru kelas dan upaya dalam mengatasinya. Saat ini, pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring dikarenakan adanya pandemi COVID-19. Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan dan juga masalah tersendiri bagi guru kelas dalam mengatur dan mengelola kelas agar pembelajaran secara daring dapat berjalan dengan efektif.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif etnografi dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari enam guru kelas. Subjek penelitian diambil dengan cara purposive sampling. Objek penelitian ini berupa pengelolaan kelas pada guru kelas, hambatan yang dialami guru kelas, serta upaya mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi metode dengan pengecekan derajat kepercayaan menggunakan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data dengan tahapan reduksi, paparan data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan kelas selama pembelajaran daring pada guru kelas hampir semuanya belum terlaksana dengan maksimal, namun guru kelas IV dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran secara maksimal dan efisien. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh guru kelas hampir semuanya belum melaksanakan pembelajaran secara variatif, tidak ada pemberian materi, penugasan cenderung luring, dll. Selain itu adanya penguasaan teknologi yang kurang pada guru kelas maupun wali murid, terbatasnya sarana belajar peserta didik, dll. juga menjadi pengaruh sekaligus hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Sehingga kebanyakan guru kelas hanya dapat menyederhanakan pembelajaran sesuai kondisi peserta didik maupun guru kelas. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the classroom management during online learning at SD Negeri Karangasem No. 3 Surakarta, also to describe the obstacles the teachers have experienced and the efforts to overcome them. Learning, is currently being held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a challenge and also a problem for the teachers in organizing and managing the classes so that online learning can run effectively. This study used a qualitative ethnographic method with the research subjects consisting of six teachers. The research subjects were taken with purposive sampling. The object of this research was in the form of classroom management for classroom teachers, obstacles experienced by teachers and their efforts to overcome these obstacles. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data validity test was using the triangulation method by checking the amount of confidence using several data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques was done with stages of reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that almost all the classroom management during online learning in class teachers had not been implemented optimally, but grade 4th teachers could carry out learning optimally and efficiently. This is due to the fact that almost all the class teachers have not carried out varied learning, no material is provided, assignments tend to be offline, etc. In addition, there is a lack of mastery of technology in class teachers and student guardians, limited learning facilities for students, etc. is also an influence as well as an obstacle in the implementation of online learning. So that most classroom teachers can only simplify learning according to the conditions of students and class teachers.

Abstract

The research objective is improving the student’s understanding by using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model. This research is class action research that consists of 2 cycles. The subject is 35 students of 4 th grade of Pulisen State Elementary School Boyolali. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusions. To determine the result of student learning outcomes, this research used source triangulation, and techniques. This research shows that students be able to comprehend the concept of economic activity increases. The first cycle result is classical pass percentage reach 75,76%. It increases in the second cycle become 91,18%. Based on observations and data, the conclusion of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model in this research could improve the understanding of the concept of economic activity. The implication of the TSTS model is that two people live in a group and two other people visit another group.

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to train elementary school teachers to have the competency to prepare Higher Order Thingking Skills (Hots) Based on Critical Thingking Based on 2013 Curriculum To Accelerate Education 4.0. In addition to training teachers, this service also aims to analyze teacher competencies in preparing Higher Order Thingking Skills (Hots) Based on Critical Thingking Based on 2013 Curriculum To Accelerate Education 4.0. The subject of this service is an elementary school teacher in the city of Surakarta. The method used in this service starts with Workshop, Practice, and Implementation. In conducting this training, the subjects were asked to take a test related to the preparation of HOTs-based questions. Analysis of the data used is pre-test and post-test. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of teachers about HOTS-based question preparation

Abstract

The child-friendly school program was created because of the importance of paying attention to the rights of children at school. The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation of child-friendly school program in SD N Soropadan. Identify the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of child-friendly schools in SD N Soropadan. Identify the impact of child-friendly school programs on the comfort of students at school. This research uses a qualitative method with the principal, teachers, and several high grade students of SD N Soropadan as sources of informants. Methods of data collection is done by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study based on the analysis of indicators of child-friendly schools in terms of child-friendly school policies, curriculum implementation, trained education personnel on child rights, facilities and infrastructure, and student participation community have gone quite well. The supporting factors for implementing child-friendly schools at SD Soropadan are the quality of the schools and the commitment of human resources. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of funding sources and the lack of participation of parents and the community. The existence of a child-friendly school program is very influential for the comfort of students at school because school facilities are increasingly being improved and educators are more competent in understanding children's rights.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merumuskan model pengembangan pembelajaran dan menyusun bahan ajar matematika Sekolah Dasar (SD) dengan pendekatan induktif, untuk guru SD yang memiliki latar pendidikan sarjana non-pendidikan matematika. Jenis penelitian adalah mixed kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis research and development. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan: tes dan angket. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 guru SD dari kecamatan Imogiri, kecamatan Piyungan, dan kecamatan Jetis di kabupaten Bantul Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data dengan uji keefektifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran dengan pendekatan induktif pada matematika SD didasarkan pada kombinasi penguasaan dan pemahaman antara teori belajar Bruner dan Piaget, pemilihan dan menganalisis materi matematika prasyarat, serta menganalisis bentuk terstruktur materi matematika yang akan dipelajari. Bahan ajar disusun guru didasarkan pada teori belajar Bruner, yakni tahapan enactif, iconic, dan symbolic. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan induktif telah meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dengan perolehan skor efektivitas N-Gian 1.21 berkategori tinggi.

Abstract

Abad 21 merupakan abad yang dikenal dengan perkembangan dan teknologi. Guru perlu memiliki keterampilan 4C yaitu critical thinking, communication, collaboration, dan creativity untuk menghadapinya dan sebagai pengembangan profesionalisme dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, guru harus memiliki kompetensi dalam penelitian sebagai wujud dari berpikir kritis dan publikasi artikel ilmiah sebagai luaran dari penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kompetensi guru dalam bidang penelitian dan publikasi serta menemukan solusi terhadap masalah yang terkait dengan kompetensi guru tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Nogosari, Kab. Boyolali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistika descriptive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru dalam penelitian dan publikasi hanya 26.98 %. Solusi terhadap rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam penelitian dan publikasi artikel ilmiah adalah melaksanakan pelatihan penyusunan dan penilaian portofolio khususnya penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah.Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai literature penelitian sejenis di masa mendatang

Abstract

Malaysia and Indonesia have introduced their educational systems and are developing human resources using learning evaluation systems. Based on the issues raised, this study aims to portray the learning assessment in primary schools in Indonesia and Malaysia in accordance with the educational program utilized in both countries and the impediments experienced in carrying out classroom-based evaluation in schools. This studyused the research literature survey technique to gather information on a research topic fromnews, official government documents, etc. The analysis was conducted using a compilation of data from several references related to the assessment of primary school learning in Merdeka curricula, or other documents relevant to this study. The results of this study revelead that the assessment used in primaryschools in Indonesia refers to Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 21 of 2022, namely formative assessment and summative assessment. The Merdeka curriculum aimsat create a positive, high-quality learning atmosphere in Indonesia. Education system in Malaysia implements the concept of school-based assessment (SBA) in line with the implementation of Lower School Standard Curriculum, known as Primary School Curriculum. The ability to develop classroom-based assessments, the creativity of teachers in designing assessments, and knowledge literacy issues are all barriers to implementing classroom-based assessments in both countries.
