Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter yang diinternalisasi melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) di SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja, mengetahui dampaknya terhadap sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses internalisasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PMR mampu menginternalisasi nilai-nilai karakter seperti disiplin, kerja keras, bersahabat, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Kegiatan tersebut berdampak positif terhadap perubahan sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti meningkatnya kedisiplinan, rasa empati, dan tanggung jawab. Namun, dalam memeuhi hal tersebut terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti rendahnya partisipasi siswa, keterbatasan anggaran, dan tantangan dalam pengelolaan waktu kegiatan. Meskipun demikian, PMR tetap menjadi wadah yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui kegiatan yang partisipatif dan berorientasi pada kemanusiaan.

Abstract

Many students still have difficulty in developing metacognitive skills during the learning process. This is due to the lack of learning media that can provide appropriate feedback, as well as the absence of applications that support metacognitive-based learning. The purpose of this study is to develop the SMART Feedback application in metacognitive-based learning. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 media experts, 2 material experts, and 2 learning experts. The subjects of the research trial included 1 teacher/practitioner, 3 students (individual trials), and 6 students (small group trials). Data collection methods used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets and test questions. The data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, and inferential statistics. The results showed that the assessment of media experts was 94% (very valid), material experts 91% (very valid), and learning experts 93% (very valid). The results of the individual trial obtained a score of 94% (very practical), the small group trial was 95% (very practical), and the teacher's assessment reached 92% (very practical). The results of the effectiveness test showed an increase in student learning outcomes after using the SMART Feedback application. It was concluded that the SMART Feedback application is feasible to use in learning and is effective in improving students' metacognitive skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the needs for developing digital learning media in Social Sciences learning in junior high schools in Singaraja City. This study used qualitative research methods. The process of developing learning media must be carried out by testing construct validity and empirical validity. Material experts, media experts and language experts will carry out validity testing. The results of the analysis of social science education material experts assessed the validity score of the material to be 93, or the criteria "Very Valid". Likewise, the graphic design value is 90 or the "Very Valid" criteria. Meanwhile, the level of grammatical validity is 88 or the criteria "Very Valid". Based on the results obtained through expert testing in the media, material and language aspects, it can be concluded that the developed digital learning media is declared very valid, so it is suitable for use in the social science education learning process. The practicality test of digital learning media was assessed by two social science education groups and 24 students participating in social science education learning. The average score given by social science education teachers was 87.69, or Very Good criteria. Meanwhile, the practicality test assessment is based on assessing students taking social science education subjects with a score of = 79.48 or good criteria. These results show that the digital such as media developed can be used sustainably. This is because teachers and students assess that this digital learning media aligns with the needs of teachers and students.

Abstract

Having highly motivated teachers is vital for effective teaching in foreign language classroom. Nevertheless, burnout may impair teachers' performance and negatively impact how they engage with students. The current study aimed at investigating the level of burnout among EFL teachers in Indonesia. This study was a mixed method study followed by forty-five EFL teachers who are currently teaching in high school level. Using Maslach Burnout Inventory Educators Survey, it was found 57.8% of participants responded they felt high levels of emotional exhaustion, followed by moderate levels (31.1%) and high levels (11.1%). Comparably, approximately 17.8% of the teachers felt they were not depersonalized, compared to 37.8% who felt it was moderate and 44.4% who felt it was extreme. High level of burnout was experienced by teachers with less than five years of teaching experience. Low to moderate level of burnout was found in teachers with more than five years experiences. Regression analysis found that length of experience significantly influences EFL teachers’ level of burnout (Sig. <.05). A further interview confirmed the factor that caused burnout among teachers such as teaching administration, adapting with technology, and dealing with misbehave students. This study highlighted the importance of addressing teachers’ burnout level.

Abstract

The Nyepi tradition, celebrated as the Saka New Year in Balinese Hinduism, functions not only as a religious ritual but also as a reflective space filled with philosophical, theological, and socio-cultural values. In the midst of global crises such as climate change, pandemics, and declining spiritual awareness, Nyepi has emerged as a cultural strategy that strengthens the spiritual and cultural resilience of Balinese society. This study examines how Hindu values—tapa, brata, yadnya, and moksha—are contextually revitalized to address contemporary global challenges. Using qualitative methods with hermeneutic and phenomenological analysis, data were gathered through literature review, participant observation during the Nyepi series (Tawur Agung, Catur Brata Penyepian, and Ngembak Geni), and interviews with religious leaders, cultural practitioners, and community members. The findings show that Nyepi is increasingly understood as a collective contemplative moment that cultivates eco-spiritual awareness. Practices of silence, fasting, and voluntary isolation act as forms of resistance to consumerism and global noise while fostering deeper spiritual solidarity. Revitalized Hindu values also appear through digital media engagement, environmental movements, and their integration into educational settings. Thus, Nyepi becomes a spiritual-ecological model that highlights harmony between humans, nature, and the transcendent, offering a framework for a globally relevant public theology within Balinese Hinduism

Abstract

Rendahnya kesadaran siswa terhadap pendidikan seksualitas menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya penghargaan diri seksual siswa di SD Negeri 1 Bungkulan, Kecamatan Sawan, Kabupaten Buleleng. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan penghargaan diri seksual siswa melalui pembelajaran IPAS-Pancasila terpadu berbasis pendekatan teknohumanistik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Agustus–September 2025 melalui pelatihan, workshop, pendampingan guru, dan pembangunan Science-Civic Area sebagai pusat media interaktif. Metode menggunakan pendekatan andragogi dan kolaboratif partisipatif dengan model lesson study yang melibatkan guru sejak tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan pedagogik guru, serta meningkatnya minat dan kesadaran siswa terhadap penghargaan diri seksual. Pre-test menunjukkan guru belum pernah menerapkan pendidikan seksualitas berbasis teknohumanistik, sedangkan angket pasca pelatihan mencatat respons positif sebesar 95,4%. Program ini efektif menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, inklusif, dan bermakna, serta meningkatkan penghargaan diri seksual siswa.

Abstract

Stigma-stigma di masyarakat yang mendiskreditkan Komunitas Kolok sebagai komunitas dengan tingkat emosional yang labil, dengan riwayat kasus pencurian, perkelahian, kekerasan dalam rumah tangga semakin menguatkan ketidakberterimaan masyarakat akan Komunitas Kolok. Hal ini berimplikasi pada terhambatnya Komunitas Kolok dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan dan ketimpangan kesetaraan sosial yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental mereka. Maka dari itu, program ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental dan pemberdayaan masyarakat ketunaan. Subjek dari pelaksanaan program ini, yaitu 48 orang anggota Komunitas Kolok. Sedangkan objek dari program ini, yaitu peningkatan resiliensi, kesehatan mental, dan kesejahteraan ekonomi melalui aktivitas pada fase-fase Pancali. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa Pre-test dan Post-test dengan instrumen berupa angket. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan aktivitas pada fase-fase Pancali memberikan peningkatan resiliensi, kesehatan mental, dan kesejahteraan ekonomi bagi anggota Komunitas Kolok. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada kesehatan mental masyarakat ketunaan.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and social media has greatly enhanced the dissemination of political information in Indonesia, especially among first-time voters, a key demographic in elections. However, this increase in information flow has also heightened the risk of political disinformation, which can shape young voters’ perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors. Many first-time voters, due to their limited ability to verify information, are vulnerable to becoming both targets and spreaders of political hoaxes. This study examines the role of digital literacy in preventing the spread of political disinformation among first-time voters in Indonesia, focusing on access, evaluation, creation, ethical awareness, and active participation in online discourse. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), the study analyzes relevant studies published between 2013 and 2024. The findings show that digital literacy enhances first-time voters' ability to verify information and avoid sharing unverified content. Strengthening digital literacy is crucial for enhancing democratic participation and mitigating the negative impacts of disinformation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the film Two Blue Lines can be optimized as a sex education medium to form honest characters in adolescents. Lack of knowledge about sexuality makes adolescents vulnerable to risky behaviors such as premarital sexual relations and early marriage. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the subjects of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that the film Two Blue Lines is able to attract students' interest, provide a new understanding of the risks of sexual behavior, and instill the value of honesty through story conflicts that are close to their lives. The discussion after the screening encourages students to have the courage to speak their minds and understand the importance of honesty. Thus, the optimization of film media can be an alternative learning strategy that is interesting, contextual, and supports character education and sex education in schools.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) berbantuan metode Photovoice dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII B. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang dipadukan dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas digunakan untuk menilai capaian pembelajaran. Integrasi Photovoice ke dalam PBL memungkinkan siswa untuk terlibat aktif dengan permasalahan kehidupan nyata melalui dokumentasi visual dan diskusi kelompok. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa untuk menganalisis, bernalar, dan mengusulkan solusi atas permasalahan sosial dan kewarganegaraan yang berakar pada nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penggunaan Photovoice merangsang refleksi dan dialog, yang berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya strategi pembelajaran interaktif dan kontekstual dalam mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21 di kalangan siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Photovoice, Berpikir Kritis, Pemecahan Masalah.
