Combating terrorism is one of the foreign policy of the United States (US). The Islamic State of Iraq and The Levant (ISIL) or The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is one of the movement deemed terrorists and has disturbed world peace. Ultimately the US decided to intervene to deal with the frequent acts of terror by ISIS which resulted in gross human rights violations. This article aims to find out how the US intervention to combat human rights abuses and acts of terror that have been done by ISIS. The research method which was used in this research is library research method, such as books, articles, journals, and various media which were relevant to this research. It has been found that the form of settlement efforts to reduce human rights violations, the US made preventive and repressive efforts. In preventive efforts, the US created an international coalition to gain support to counter terror committed by ISIS. Then the repressive effort is humanitarian intervention in the form of military aid and humanitarian aid. The US donates $ 1.2 billion annually and 350 million dollars as a form of military and humanitarian aid to combat ISIS.

Batam is one of the areas in Riau Islands. Batam is based on a geographical location directly to Singapore and Malaysia, by passed the international shipping line, from this factor makes Batam as an area for foreign investment for foreign investors. Batam The concept of the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) also focuses on the attraction of foreign investment in the sector of industry exports, income tax, the opening jobs, the absorption the of workforce and the developing local industries. The research used theories of liberalism, effectiveness theory, and paradiplomacy. This article aims to determine the effectiveness of the governance of Free Trade Zone (FTZ) paradiplomacy in Batam area. The method used quantitative used a coding method to detect in the analysis content and qualitative by the author is library research such as books, articles, journals, regulations. The research result is The Indonesian Government's new policy of centralization into decentralization. Give regional authority to manage its own area one of them Batam. Government regulation number 5 year 2011 about free area and free port Batam for Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Batam area. However, some regulations governing FTZ in Batam still occur in inconsistency.

The United Statesâ€™s economy crisis because of housing subprime mortgage cause decrease of economy world 2008 that still continues until 2009. For the developed countries and emerging markets, this situation can damage economy fundamnetal and trigger economy crisis. the rubber cause becomes research object, first rubber becomes one of export commodity that gives chance to Indonesian for expanding the market. Second, rubber is the biggest donation from agriculture sector. Third, rubber is one of important farm commodity, both as income source, job chance and devisa, economy development for new centrals in surrounding and evironment and natural resources and as country with the biggest area and the second production in the world.The research methode that is used by the writer is the analyze descriptive methode. It is research methode that is used to describe sistematicaly a moment or problem that become study topic sistematicaly and rely on analyze against the events from consequence perspective and data arrangement. In the implemention, this methode limits not only in collecting and data arrangement, but analyze and interpretation against those datas.The United Stateâ€™s economy crisis causes Indonesianâ€™s rubber export. The rubber export value influences decrease in 2009, the rubber price in domestic and international also influences decrease. Not only price and value of rubber export but also rubber production of Indonesia. Pemberdayaan gender merupakan sebuah rekonstruksi dalam kesetaraan sebuah aktivitas dilingkungan yang beorientasi terhadap kehidupan sosial dalam kehidupan individu maupun kelompok yang berfokus pada sebuah partisipasi publik pada sektor politik ekonomi dan kepemimpinan. Tulisan ini berfokus pada kondisi atau fenomena gender di Kota Tanjungpinang yang menunjukkan angka tertinggi di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau ditengah pandemi COVID-19 tahun 2020. Adapun metode yang dilakukan peneliti berupa kajian kepustakaan secara kualitatif dengan mengunakan data sekunder yaitu pemberitaan, laporan, dokumen yang dianalisis secara mendalam mengunakan model logika dan model pengembangan penjelasan sesuai dengan studi kasus yang ada. Hasil menunjukan bahwa pemberdayaan gender berpengaruh pada dimensi keterwakilan parlemen, pengambilan keputusan, serta distribusi pendapatan sangat mempengaruhi pada kondisi sistem pemerintahan Kota Tanjungpinang. Artinya pemberdayaan gender mempunyai kesadaran tingkat individual secara masif yang menginginkan keterlibatan secara berkelanjutan. Kemudian pemberdayaan gender tersebut didukung para pemangku kepetingan dalam kemampuan mendorong pemberdayaan gender pada generasi ke generasi Kota Tanjungpinang di tengah pandemi COVID-19.

Pendapatan nasional atau PDB sangat erat kaitannya dengan investasi. Peningkatan investasi akan berdampak positif pada proses produksi dalam usaha yang semakin aktif dan meningkatkan konsumsi rumah tangga. Optimalisasi adalah upaya memperoleh hasil dan capaian yang akan dirancang di masa depan untuk melihat potensi pembangunan, baik di tingkat nasional maupun daerah. Salah satu contohnya yaitu melalui penguatan ekonomi di Kabupaten Lamandau, optimalisasi investasi memungkinkan suatu daerah untuk berkembang, dan peran pemerintah daerah dalam mengelola potensi sumber daya manusia dan sumber daya alam didasarkan pada kajian ilmiah dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan empat teknik: Shift Share, Location Quotient, Klassen Typology, dan Analytic Hierarchy Process. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keempat pendekatan tersebut mendominasi optimalisasi investasi destinasi wisata untuk mendorong penguatan ekonomi di Kabupaten Lamandau. Kemudian, potensi pengembangan yang diharapkan dapat dikelola dengan baik dengan mengoptimalkan kebutuhan penguatan sektor kelembagaan terkait. Instansi dimaksud diperintahkan untuk menyiapkan langkah-langkah konkrit untuk mendorong perekonomian di daerah.

Political participation is an individual activity that may affect a country's or government's political policy. Political participation in democracy takes many forms, such as voting, establishing a political group, engaging in legal or illegal protests, campaign involvement, discussing politics offline or online, or becoming a political party member. The term political participation in this study refers to voting participation. Voter participation is important because it creates a political and democratic climate that encourages people to participate actively in state administration. To determine strategies and policies to increase voter participation, what factors can influence someone to vote can be seen. One factor that influences a person's desire to participate in politics is a person's socioeconomic status. Therefore, this study examines how Socioeconomic Status (SES) influences political participation. Political participation in this study is seen from whether the permanent voters (DPT) exercise their right to vote in the 2020 gubernatorial election. The SES consists of socioeconomic status, which is seen from: demographic background (social status, including age, ethnicity, educational background, and religion); economic status of the average income of voters per month. Krejcie Morgan sampling method, 384 respondents were processed with Eviews 11 software using logit regression model analysis. This study found three variables significantly affect the dependent variable: Ethnic, residential election participation, and trust level in the candidate. This study recommends that the strategies used in the efforts to enhance political participation of the Riau Islands community in the regional head election are: forming volunteers democracy, dividing four segments of socialization, improving the quality of the organizing committee resources by conducting technical guidance, aggressively achieving political socialization, political publications, and the delivery of the stages of the elections using various social media platform. Moreover, implementing Good Governance will produce output from society's most economical market mechanisms. Thus, it is expected that people's political awareness will be enhanced.
