Abstract

This community engagement program was conducted to address several issues faced by Sultah Gift Shop, a small enterprise that continues to experience limitations in financial management and the use of information technology. Initial observations revealed that transaction recording was not performed consistently, basic financial statements had not been prepared, and the use of digital applications in daily operations remained minimal. These conditions made it difficult for the owner to obtain accurate information regarding cash flow, costs, and profitability. In response, the program focused on improving financial literacy and enhancing the use of relevant digital tools to support business management. The implementation stages included field surveys, problem identification, solution development, and the preparation and submission of a proposal to the KPPM of Universitas Internasional Jakarta until approval was granted. The activities involved training on transaction recording, cost calculation, basic financial reporting, and mentoring in using mobile-based financial applications. The results demonstrated an 85% increase in the partner’s financial literacy, the establishment of simple financial reports, and a 90% improvement in the consistency of digital recordkeeping.

Abstract

This study investigates how product uniqueness value advantage mediates the relationship between product innovation and marketing performance. Data were gathered from 342 food-producing SMEs in Central Java, Indonesia. The owners and managers of food product SMEs in Central Java are the respondents of this study's survey. Data collection was conducted over a three-month period using structured questionnaires distributed directly and supplemented by interviews. The research model includes five assumptions that were investigated using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Product innovation, product uniqueness value advantage, long-term competitive advantage, and marketing performance were the variables studied. The findings suggest that all hypotheses have a favorable and significant effect. Among these, product uniqueness value advantage has the greatest influence on marketing performance. Several recommendations are suggested to utilize this advantage and thus boost marketing performance: SMEs should: actively and quickly create new product variations for the market; be creative in creating food products that showcase unique qualities that suit consumer tastes; (3) strive to be leaders in launching new product concepts; and (4) be flexible and responsive to changing market trends, especially when it comes to adjusting to the food industry's explosive growth. The findings of this study have several limitations that must be addressed in future research. The impact of sustainable competitive advantage on marketing success is minimal compared to the influence of other variables. To better understand its impact on marketing performance, future research could examine increasing the number of indicators for the sustainable competitive advantage variable to provide a more comprehensive measure of this concept.

Abstract

English Language Anxiety (ELA) remains a significant psychological barrier for learners in Indonesia, particularly in the context of performance-based assessments. This study investigates the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to mitigate this anxiety, focusing on student perceptions and the relevance of specific AI features. Employing a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 90 high school students in Bandung using a questionnaire that integrated the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Descriptive statistical analysis revealed that students experience high levels of performance anxiety, especially when speaking without preparation. Results indicate a strong positive perception of AI's ability to create a low-stress environment, primarily by reducing the fear of making mistakes (Mean=3.67). Concerning the most relevant AI features, the capability for L1 scaffolding—explaining concepts in Indonesian—was deemed most crucial (Mean=3.88), highlighting its role in alleviating cognitive anxiety. However, a significant concern regarding the transferability of AI-practiced skills to real human interaction was identified (Mean=3.56), moderating the overall perceived efficacy of AI for anxiety reduction. The study concludes that AI is a highly effective affective tool for safe practice but must be integrated within a hybrid pedagogical model that bridges the gap between AI-assisted learning and authentic social communication to fully address the multifaceted nature of foreign language anxiety.

Abstract

The rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia reflects that Indonesians have an increasing concern about environmental issues. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence consumers' purchase intention towards EVs, focusing on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness of technology, and environmental awareness. This study adopts the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach that includes two main variables-Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU)-and extends the model by adding the variable Environmental Awareness (EA). Through this approach, research seeks to uncover how the combination of perceived technology and environmental awareness affects interest in electric vehicles. The findings of this study are expected to provide practical contributions for industry players and policy makers in formulating marketing strategies and policies that support the acceleration of EV adoption in Indonesia as a step towards environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of production costs, land area, and selling prices on the income of oil palm farmers in Rambah Jaya Village. This study applies a quantitative approach by collecting primary data through distributing questionnaires to 50 oil palm farmers who were used as respondents. The sampling technique was carried out using the simple random sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using data quality tests, descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing processed using the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that partially production costs do not significantly affect the income of oil palm farmers, while land area and selling prices have a positive and significant effect on the income of oil palm farmers. Simultaneously, production costs, land area, and selling prices together have a significant effect on the income of oil palm farmers. This study is expected to be a consideration for farmers and related parties in efforts to increase income.
