Abstract

Communication is a critical component in providing safe and high-quality nursing care. Various adverse events that occur in hospitals are mostly caused by communication errors between health workers. This literature review aims to analyze a systematic comparison of the effectiveness of the SBAR and I-PASS communication methods. Literature search methodology includes major electronic databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar with a publication time range of 2013-2023. A total of 1,008 articles were obtained from the initial search, after the screening process using the PRISMA flow diagram, 10 journals were obtained that met the criteria. Research results: Both SBAR and I-PASS methods were proven to be effective in increasing patient safety, with I-PASS showing slightly superior performance in reducing the risk of medical errors. Although both methods have a structural framework for information transfer, I-PASS shows better consistency and depth of information than SBAR. I-PASS shows superiority in handover process efficiency, with a more significant time reduction and increased communication completeness compared to SBAR. Conclusion: The I-PASS communication method is more recommended than SBAR in nursing handover practice because it has higher effectiveness in reducing the risk of medical errors and improving the quality of information transfer.

Abstract

Artikel ini megkaji tentang kegiatan pemberdayaan ibu-ibu di Majelis Taklim Masjid Al-Ikhlas Mulyojati Metro Barat yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan keseimbangan antara aspek spiritual dan sosial dalam kehidupan mereka. Pemberdayaan ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan berbasis pendidikan Islam, kajian keagamaan, serta kegiatan sosial yang memperkuat solidaritas dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah, diskusi interaktif, pelatihan keterampilan sosial, serta aksi sosial yang melibatkan anggota majelis taklim. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman ibu-ibu tentang nilai-nilai Islam yang mendukung keseimbangan spiritual dan sosial, serta peningkatan partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan sosial di lingkungan sekitar. Dengan adanya pemberdayaan ini, ibu-ibu tidak hanya semakin memahami ajaran agama secara lebih mendalam, tetapi juga lebih aktif dalam membangun hubungan sosial yang harmonis. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk pribadi yang religius sekaligus peduli terhadap lingkungan sosial, sehingga dapat menjadi model bagi majelis taklim lainnya dalam mengembangkan keseimbangan antara kehidupan spiritual dan sosial. Abstract

Minat berwirausaha pada masyarakat dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantarannya adalah literasi keuangan, motivasi, dan lingkungan keluarga. Literasi keuangan sangat berperan penting dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi. Semakin tinggi pengetahuan mengenai bagaimana cara mengelola keuangan agar dapat bermanfaat dimasa yang akan datang semakin tinggi pula keinginan untuk berwirausaha. Tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu: (a) Untuk mengetahui apakah literasi keuangan berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha bagi masyarakat Sampang. (b) Untuk mengetahui apakah lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha bagi masyarakat Sampang. (c) Untuk mengetahui apakah motivasi berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha bagi masyarakat Sampang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) literasi keuangan (X1) secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha (Y), (b) secara parsial lingkungan keluarga (X2) berpengaruh positif terhadap minat berwirausaha (Y), dan (c) motivasi (X3) berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha (Y).

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji pendampingan implementasi program pendidikan karakter di Pesantren Inklusi Tri Bhakti Al Qudwah Metro sebagai upaya pemberdayaan membentuk generasi unggul dan beretika. Fokus utama dari program ini adalah membentuk karakter santri melalui pendekatan pendidikan inklusif yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan formal dan non-formal, mencakup santri difabel dan non-difabel. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan Partisipatory Action Research dengan melibatkan partisipasi santri, pengajar, dan orang tua untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program dalam meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap keberagaman, memperkuat nilai-nilai moral dan etika, serta membekali santri dengan keterampilan praktis yang relevan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan empati, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab di kalangan santri. Namun, ditemukan tantangan dalam penyesuaian metode pengajaran dan dukungan kewirausahaan yang memerlukan peningkatan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan integrasi pendidikan formal dan non-formal, serta peningkatan pelatihan bagi pengajar untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program pendidikan karakter di pesantren.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis menjadi kemampuan yang diharapkan bagi siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Menulis sebagai kemampuan untuk mencurahkan buah pikiran dan bentuk kemampuan dalam menyampaikan ide dan gagasan melalui tulisan. Bagi siswa kemampuan menulis cerita pendek menjadi ajang pelatihan yang mana siswa dapat menyampaikan apa yang mereka pikirkan dan mereka rasakan kepada publik. Artikel ini membahas mengenai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek melalui metode penugasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan prosedur penelitian dan objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu Tahun 2016. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan tekni deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan metode penugasan yakni siswa diberikan tugas di sekolah dan di rumah untuk menulis atau menuliskan cerita yang mereka alami untuk dijadikan cerita pendek. Hal ini dimaksudkan adalah agar siswa diberikan kebebasan untuk mengekspresikan buah pikir mereka ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Hal ini berdampak kepada kemampuan siswa dalam menghasilkan karangan cerita pendek. Siswa lebih bebas meluahkan dengan bahasa mereka sendiri ke dalam bentuk tulisan dan juga menyampaikan maksud dari tulisan kepada khalayak ramai.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in fractions through the use of the Fraction Wheel media in grade 3 at MI Thoriqul Huda Randupadangan. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 25 third-grade students consisting of 14 male students and 11 female students. Data collection techniques used observation of activities, learning outcome tests, and student response questionnaires. The results showed a very significant increase in learning outcomes, where the class average score increased from 52.8 in cycle I to 85.8 in cycle II. The percentage of classical learning completeness increased sharply from only 8% in cycle I to 96% in cycle II. This increase was also accompanied by a strengthening of teacher activity, which reached 96%, and student activity, which reached 87.5% at the end of the cycle. The Fraction Wheel Media proved to be effective in transforming abstract mathematical concepts into interactive concrete visualizations, thereby increasing positive responses and student learning motivation to 87,63. Thus, the use of fraction wheel media has been proven to optimally improve mathematics learning outcomes and provide an innovative and enjoyable learning solution for madrasah ibtidaiyah students.

Abstract

Corruption is a serious crime that has a widespread impact on the state and society. However, law enforcement efforts still face various structural and implementation obstacles, such as weak deterrent effects, political intervention, and inconsistent court decisions. This study aims to explore the relationship between the concepts of hudud and ta'zir in Islamic criminal law and efforts to combat corruption within the framework of modern law. The research method used is qualitative through literature review, examining classical fiqh texts, national legislation, and relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that corruption does not fall under the category of hudud because it does not meet the technical and substantive requirements determined by sharia. However, corruption can be classified as a ta'zir crime, which gives judges or authorities the flexibility to impose penalties based on the severity of the crime, ranging from fines, asset recovery, removal from office, to the death penalty in cases that cause widespread harm to the state. Compared to Indonesia's positive legal system, which tends to be weak in enforcing strict sanctions, the principles of ta'zir are considered more responsive and adaptive. Therefore, this finding recommends that the principles of ta'zir be used as a normative and philosophical reference in the formulation of national legal policies to create a more fair, strict, and socially just system for enforcing anti-corruption laws.

Abstract

This study examines the revitalization of the kitab kuning learning tradition through the practice of studying Al-Ghoyah wa at-Taqrib conducted by the Association of Female Islamic Boarding School Caregivers and Women Preachers (JPPPM) of Lampung. Employing a participatory ethnographic approach, data were collected through five observation sessions (90–120 minutes each), five interviews, and analysis of study-related documents. The findings show that the study sessions integrate the bandongan, sorogan, and muzakarah methods, leading to three main outcomes: (1) the strengthening of kitab kuning literacy, indicated by improved fluency in reading unvowelled texts among beginner participants who had previously struggled with nahwu–sharaf structures; (2) the formation of collective female authority through muzakarah forums that consistently address practical fiqh issues such as thaharah, family zakat, and women’s ritual practices; and (3) instructional innovation in the form of rotating instructors and simple digital documentation, which helps sustain the continuity of the study despite participants’ dual responsibilities as pesantren caregivers and preachers. The main challenges include disparities in participants’ reading abilities, limited access to supporting literature, and a culture of seniority that constrains the participation of younger members. Overall, the findings affirm that JPPPM Lampung has successfully developed an adaptive learning model that strengthens the scholarly capacity of women in pesantren and contributes to the sustainability of Islamic intellectual traditions.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Kalibarumanis merupakan daerah penghasil kopi yang terletak di Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Permasalahan yang terkait kopi di desa tersebut yaitu metode pengeringan kopi yang masih konvensional dan metode pembibitan kopi yang belum sesuai Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). Adapun tujuan dari Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini antara lain mengimplementasikan teknologi pengeringan yang tepat berupa Bed Dryer Dome untuk biji kopi dan mengembangkan bibit kopi yang menghasilkan tanaman kopi dengan produktivitas tinggi dan unggul. Metode pelaksanaan program dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang dimulai pada bulan Juli sampai September 2022. Luaran program berupa pembangunan Bed Dryer Dome yang dapat digunakan oleh mitra untuk mengeringkan biji kopi setelah panen tanpa harus terhalang kondisi lingkungan. Luaran kedua yaitu telah tercapainya transfer knowledge dalam pembibitan kopi dengan bibit dari klon yang unggul dan metode teknik sambung-stek untuk peningkatan produktivitas tanaman dan kualitas buah kopi. Pelaksanaan program ini menjadi sebuah pijakan awal dalam peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat melalui komoditas kopi. Selanjutnya, tim pelaksana berkomunikasi dengan mitra petani kopi yang mempunyai peran utama dalam melanjutkan hasil program ini di masa mendatang saat panen kopi pada tahun-tahun berikutnya. Kata kunci: desa kalibarumanis; kopi; bed dryer dome; bibit unggul; kualitas. Abstract Kalibarumanis Village is a coffee producing area located in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province. Problems related to coffee in the village are conventional coffee drying methods and coffee seeding methods that are not in accordance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). The objectives of this Community Service Program include implementing appropriate drying technology in the form of a dome Bed Dryer Dome for coffee beans and developing coffee seeds that produce coffee plants with high productivity and superior quality. The program implementation method is carried out in several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation starting from July to September 2022. The output of the program is the construction of a Bed Dryer Dome which can be used by partners to dry coffee beans after harvest without having to be hindered by environmental conditions. The second output was the achievement of transfer of knowledge in coffee nurseries using seeds from superior clones and the grafting-cutting technique method to increase plant productivity and coffee cherries quality. The implementation of this program is an initial foothold in improving the community's economy through coffee commodities. Furthermore, the implementation team communicates with coffee farmer partners who have a major role in continuing the results of this program in the future during the coffee harvest in the following years. Keywords: kalibarumanis village; coffee; bed dryer dome; quality seeds; quality

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines how philosophy of language—specifically theories of meaning, signs, and speech acts—can enrich Arabic pedagogy by providing a context-sensitive epistemological foundation for contemporary instruction. Design/methods/approach – This research employs a qualitative conceptual approach using document-based analysis. Primary and secondary literature on philosophy of language, linguistic theory, and Arabic language pedagogy were identified, selected, and analyzed through thematic content analysis. The process involved categorizing theoretical constructs, mapping their pedagogical relevance, and synthesizing them into an integrated instructional model. The analysis relies on theoretical triangulation to ensure conceptual rigor and coherence. Findings – The study reveals that philosophical theories of meaning, semiotic representation, and speech acts provide a robust framework for addressing the limitations of structural and communicative methods traditionally used in Arabic language classrooms. The integration of these theories highlights the centrality of context, intention, and social function in meaning-making and demonstrates that effective Arabic instruction requires more than grammatical accuracy or fluency. The proposed synthesis model incorporates illocutionary functions, multimodal signs, and interpretative practices to help learners construct deeper semantic, pragmatic, and cultural understanding. Research implications – This research mandates integrating philosophical theories into Arabic pedagogy to enhance learners' pragmatic competence, cultural interpretation, and context-driven meaning-making beyond mere grammatical accuracy.
