Abstract

This study aims to obtain data on the abundance of gastropods and bivalves, the density, and the diversity in the mangrove ecosystem in Sebubus Village, Paloh District. The data obtained from this study shed a light in the management of aquatic ecosystems as well as the reference in conserving and identifying mollusks with economic value. Observations from 20 stations revealed that the number of gastropod populations was higher than the population of bivalves. Gastropod abundance was mostly found in Padak and bivalves was mostly found in Engkalan A. Thus, it is necessary to provide information regarding the fishing limits around the mangrove forest o the community. It is necessary to establish a an asylum for gastropods and bivalves as well as support for their sustainability

Abstract

This research is aimed to investigate the influence of discovery learning model and guided inquiry based experiment method to the physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude. This research is a quasi experiment with 2×2 of factorial design method. The population is all students of 13 classes of grade X of SMAN 2 Mataram. Sample is determined by using a cluster random sampling method. Data is analyzed by t-test statistics of two sample. The results showed that discovery learning model based experiment method has influence to the  physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude, and guided inquiry learning model based experiment method has influence to the physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude. Beside that, discovery learning model and guided inquiry based experiment method has influence to the physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude.Keywords: discovery, guided inquiry, experiment, physics learning outcomes, and  scientific attitude

Abstract

Budidaya Ikan dan Sayur dalam Ember merupakan program pengembangan dari aquaponik, yang mana ikan dan tanaman dapat tumbuh dalam satu wadah. Budidaya Ikan dan Sayur dalam Ember menjadi solusi potensial bagi budidaya perikanan dan pertanian di lahan yangsempit dengan penggunaan air yang lebih hemat, mudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat di rumah masing-masing dengan modal yang relatif kecil. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk menumbuhkan minat masyarakat dalam melakukan budidaya ikan dan sayuran dalam satu tempat, sehingga hasil panen yang didapat pun berlimpah serta mencukupi kebutuhan giziyang berasal dari ikan dan sayuran. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu tahap awal berupa pengumpulan data dengan cara dokumentasi foto dan pendekatan dengan tokoh masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan, tahap kedua yaitu pelaksanaan dengan carasosialisasi kemudian mulai melaksanakan kegiatan budidaya ikan dan sayur dalam ember kepada masyarakat setempat. Manfaat yang didapat dengan mempraktikkan budidaya ikan dan sayur dalam ember di antaranya menyediakan pangan keluarga dengan protein hewanidan sayuran dalam kondisi sehat dan segar. Hasil yang didapatkan dari program ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mitra tentang budidaya ikan dan sayur dalam ember serta adanya peningkatan kemandirian pangan keluarga dengan memanfaatkanpekarangan rumah melalui budidaya sayuran dan ikan dalam satu tempat.

Abstract

Kegiatan mozaik adalah pilihan yang tepat untuk melatih motorik anak, karena di dalam proses pelaksanaan mozaik terdapat kegaiatan menempel potongan bahan menggunakan lem pada pola yang telah dibuat sehingga koordinasi motoriknya akan terlatih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Research and Development dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan mozaik. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Rancangan penelitian melalui 3 tahap pengembangan yang masing-masing tahapan terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi/analisis. Hasil penelitian dengan tahap pengembangan I langkah kegiatan mozaik mulai terlaksana dengan persentase 51,7% dengan perkembangan motorik halus anak mulai berkembang 51,7%, pada tahap pengembangan II langkah kegiatan mozaik terlaksana dengan baik mencapai jumlah persentase 67,8% dan perkembangan motorik halus anak meningkat menjadi 66,6%, sedangkan tahap pengembangan III langkah kegiatan mozaik mencapai 85,7% dan perkembangan motorik halus anak berkembang sangat baik dengan jumlah persentase 88,3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan kegiatan mozaik dapat meningkatkan perkembangan motorik halsu anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Tunas Bangsa Mataram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek air rebusan kayu cina terhadap histopatologi mukosa lambung mencit (mus musculus) yang diinduksi asam klorida (HCl). Penelitian ini menggunakan mencit jantan strain ICR sebanyak 45 ekor yang dibagi dalam 3 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kelompok mencit normal, kelompok mencit gastritis, dan kelompok mencit dengan pemberian air rebusan kayu cina selama 7 dan 14 hari sebanyak 0.3 cc. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa setelah pemberian air rebusan kayu cina ada perbaikan sel-sel mukosa lambung mencit. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa air rebusan kayu cina menunjukkan adanya perbaikan secara histopatologis mukosa lambung mencit yang diinduksi asam klorida (HCl).

Abstract

Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) masih menjadi persoalan kompleks di balik sakralitas perkawinan yang ideal dalam Islam. Budaya Melayu yang kental dengan nilai-nilai Islam menjadikan rasa malu sebagai bagian integral dari kehidupan sosial, khususnya dalam menjaga marwah perempuan sebagai penjaga keharmonisan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana karakter malu yang melekat pada perempuan Melayu dapat berperan dalam mencegah KDRT serta membangun ketahanan rumah tangga. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara induktif-deduktif dalam kerangka fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai malu dalam budaya Melayu bukan sekadar etika sosial, tetapi juga merupakan bentuk manifestasi keimanan yang mendorong perempuan untuk menjaga kehormatan, menghindari konflik terbuka, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara musyawarah. Namun demikian, rasa malu yang tidak dibarengi dengan literasi hukum dan keberanian bertindak dapat menjadi penghambat perlindungan diri. Oleh karena itu, edukasi terhadap perempuan Melayu menjadi faktor penting dalam memperkuat peran mereka dalam pencegahan KDRT, sekaligus menjadi pilar pembentuk keluarga yang aman, damai, dan bermartabat.

Abstract

Generation Z has a significant influence in various aspects of life, such as business, education, and popular culture. When Gen Z was born, the use of technology such as the internet, smartphones, and social media was becoming popular, so Gen Z has a very close relationship with technology usage. Therefore, Gen Z has the opportunity to be encouraged to creatively generate business ideas. The purpose of this service is to provide business ideas through training in the production of natural ingredient deodorant spray made from alum, which is available in the village of Terantang. This service article uses the ABCD method (asset-based community development) with data obtained from observations and interviews. The result of this service is the creation of business skills for Gen Z at SMPN 5 Sampit from natural resources, namely tawas stone, which was previously only used as a water purifier, into a new business idea product.

Abstract

Listening is a fundamental skill in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, providing the foundation for developing speaking, reading, and writing. This study aims to explore the foundations of basic listening skills and examine pedagogical approaches that can effectively foster listening competence. Using a qualitative descriptive design, data were obtained from literature analysis, classroom observation, and teacher interviews, then analyzed thematically to identify key challenges and strategies. Findings show that listening skills play a vital role in vocabulary development, grammatical awareness, and intercultural competence, yet learners face barriers such as fast speech rates, accent variation, and limited strategy use. Innovative approaches such as extensive listening, podcast integration, task-based learning, and mobile-assisted instruction emerge as effective solutions for enhancing learner autonomy and communicative fluency. The study implies that listening pedagogy should move beyond comprehension testing toward equipping learners with strategic, cultural, and technological resources to meet global communication demands.

Abstract

Early childhood education serves as the cornerstone for developing language skills and socio-cultural competencies in the global era. This study aims to examine the integration of basic listening skills with cross-cultural understanding in early childhood education curricula. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, utilizing classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with early childhood teachers, and curriculum document analysis, with thematic coding and triangulation applied for data validation. The findings reveal that listening activities through stories, songs, and play not only enhanced children’s phonological awareness and language comprehension but also fostered empathy, tolerance, and cultural sensitivity. These results affirm that merging listening skills with cross-cultural understanding offers an innovative framework for early childhood curricula, with implications for cultivating communicative, inclusive, and globally competent future generations.

Abstract

Writing is considered the most complex skill in English language learning as it requires learners to generate, organize, and articulate ideas into coherent texts. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Genre-Based Writing Approach (GBWA) in English language teaching by identifying strategies, challenges, and possible solutions. A qualitative descriptive design was employed using classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis of students’ writing. Data were analyzed thematically to capture recurring patterns in instructional practices, difficulties encountered by teachers and learners, and potential solutions for improvement. The findings indicate that strategies such as scaffolding, the use of model texts, collaborative learning, and digital resources significantly enhance students’ writing competence, although teacher expertise, student resistance, and institutional constraints remain major obstacles. The results highlight the importance of teacher training, curriculum reform, assessment alignment, and institutional support for effective implementation of GBWA. The implications of this research provide practical insights for teachers, curriculum designers, and policymakers in enhancing genre-based writing instruction in EFL contexts
