Abstract

PT. Gendhis Multi Manis BULOG merupakan proses pengolahan produk berupa gula yang kemungkinan mempunyai kekuatan munculnya limbah terhadap lingkungan sekitar pabrik dan lingkungan pekerja. Adapun ragam limbah yang muncul yang salah satunya berupa limbah pabrik maka dibutuhkan system untuk mengurangi potensi pencemaran limbah tersebut. Atas dasar ini maka perlu melakukan identifikasi, penilaian dan analisis resiko yang akan terjadi. Observasi ini menerapkan metode kualitatif. Tujuan peneliti melakukan observasi yang pertama adalah bisa menemukan bukti - bukti yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas lingkungan menggunakan metode enviromental risk analysis dan dan Environmental Performance Indicator. Kedua yaitu melakukan evaluasi susunan risiko lingkungan dengan memakai metode kualitatif serta metode semi kuantitatif. Pada observasi ini yang didapat peneliti yakni perangkat proses mengolah air dari sisa proses produksi yang mempunyai risiko yang kecil dari keseluruhan risikonya sebesar 66, maksudnya bahwa proses mengolah limbah dikerjakan melalui prosedur yang teratur atau tidak berubah - ubah dan total nilai analisis signifikansi aspek lingkungan outlet IPAL sebesar 1404, maksudnya limbah yang keluar ini mempunyai akibat bahwa limbah tidak berpengaruh yang besar serta menakutkan pada ragam unsur lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian risiko lingkungan, aktivitas pengelolaan produktifitas yang sering memunculkan pada lingkungan adalah pada kondisi minyak pelumasan turbin di stasiun ketel dengan nilai 2835, dan di stasiun pemurnian proses blotong pada saat memiliki nilai sebesar 1215. Hasil pengukuran indeks EPI mempunyai nilai positif 44% artinya bahwa kondisi ini menerangkan hasil kerja lingkungan pabrik gula yang sedang dilakukan observasi adalah sudah cukup baik.

Abstract

Instability in the production of CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera's grinding balls still occurs frequently. In 2022, production is unstable because every month there is a huge difference in production results. In February 2022, CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera experienced an increase in production by 10,000 kg. In April 2022, CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera experienced a decrease in production by 10,000 kg. The purpose of this final project research is to find out the productivity of the production department at CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera during the period January 2022 to December 2022, to find out the causes (basic events) of the instability of grinding ball production at CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera during the period January 2022 to December 2022 and to determine proposed improvements to the basic event of grinding ball production instability at CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera. The methods used in data processing are Objective Matrix and Fault Tree Analysis. The results of this study are for the highest productivity value to occur in August 2022 with a value of 853 with 3 criteria being at a level above the average. Meanwhile, the lowest value occurred in July 2022 with a value of 159. The highest decrease in productivity occurred in October 2022 with a productivity value of 178, down from September 2022 with a productivity value of 746. The cause of the instability of grinding ball production at CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera is Incorrect Raw Material Purchases Time, Raw Material Usage Exceeds Usage Limit, Product Demand Exceeds Production Capacity, there is dirt in the molten metal, there is air in the mold, the mold temperature is not appropriate (not quite right), the cooling water is too hot, the molten metal is not fully poured, the molten metal temperature is not normal, and the molten metal has been poured too much. Proposed improvements to the basic event of grinding ball production instability at CV Barokah Logam Sejahtera are to make a raw material purchase plan based on the EOQ method, purchase raw materials according to the raw material purchase plan obtained.

Abstract

The Public Service Mall (Mal Pelayanan Publik/MPP) of Banyuwangi Regency is a public service innovation established in 2017 under the Department of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu/DPMPTSP). This study aims to evaluate and improve customer service quality at MPP Banyuwangi using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and Service Quality (SERVQUAL) methods. Enhancing service quality in the public sector is crucial to increasing public satisfaction and trust in government services. The research methodology involves data collection through questionnaires distributed to respondents who use services at MPP Banyuwangi. The service quality dimensions, based on the SERVQUAL and IPA models, are analyzed to identify gaps between customer expectations and perceptions of public services. The results indicate a significant gap between customer expectations and perceptions regarding specific service quality aspects. The implications of these findings suggest that service quality improvements in the public sector at MPP Banyuwangi can be effectively implemented by focusing on the key aspects identified in this study.

Abstract

In making mine roads, workers carry out work in conditions that are less comfortable carrying out work activities for long periods of time. For example, surveyors carry out their activities from morning to evening in hot or rainy weather conditions and require little time. Supervise the control of work so that it complies with the directions and time that has been determined. In carrying out these activities, high energy and precision is required, resulting in mental and physical workload. By carrying out this research, an evaluation of mental workload will be carried out to find out how much mental workload is felt by workers in carrying out work activities and what load factors most influence workers' mental workload. The analysis was carried out using the NASA-TLX method to identify the mental workload experienced by workers. The results of data processing show that the section that has the highest workload is the supervisory section with an average of 81.1, then the operator section with an average value of 80.9, and the lowest is the survey section with an average value of 80. In the shift comparison The workload for operators on the morning shift has a total score of 822, while on the night shift the total score is 796. Then on the morning shift the supervisor has a higher workload with a total score of 335, while on the night shift the total score is 314. So it can be seen that the workload during the shift morning shift is greater than the night shift.

Abstract

Data reveals that at UMKM Tahu Prapto, out of 9,450 tofu products produced, 1,016 products were defective, indicating quality control issues in August 2024. By implementing the six sigma method, it is expected to identify defects to determine the company's sigma value, so that the company can improve its sigma value to compete in the market and provide improvement recommendations aimed at reducing the existing product defects in Tahu. In its implementation, six sigma has 5 (five) steps to improve business performance, namely define, measure, analyze, improve, and control, so that problems or opportunities, processes, and customer requirements must be verified and updated at each step. Further analysis using the Pareto diagram identifies specific defects in the tofu product, such as dirty tofu, incorrect size, unpleasant texture, and bad odor. The proposed improvements include scheduling regular equipment cleaning, ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of production machines, and maintaining a clean working environment to prevent contamination of tofu products

Abstract

PT Petrogas Prima Services is a company engaged in the repair of 3 KG LPG Gas Cylinders which meet ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards. The company is located at 12, Jl. Magelang - Yogyakarta No.Km, Meduro, Bojong, Kec. Mungkid, Magelang Regency, Central Java 56512. Transportation problems are problems that are often encountered in the distribution of goods. Another problem that is often faced with distribution is making decisions regarding routes that can optimize distance and travel time. The main problem in this study is how to optimize the distance and time of PT Petrogas Prima Services 3kg gas cylinder transportation delivery routes by solving the Vehicles Routing Problem. In this way, the main problem of transportation is how to determine the distribution of goods from sources so that all destination needs are met but with a shorter route time. to a minimum. With the product distribution activities of PT Petrogas Prima Services, the calculation and optimization of transportation time can be done using the Vehicles route Problem method, namely Nearest Insert and Nearest Neighbor for proof. Where the results of this method obtained 3 significant routes as follows route G-C6-C1-C7-G for first group is 32.70km, route G-C8-C5-C4-G for second group is 26.50km, and the last route G-C2-C3-G is 54,50km.

Abstract

PT Madubaru merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi gula tebu dengan kualitas SHS IA. Sering ditemukan kecacatan produk oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan pengendalian kualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) untuk mengidentifikasi mode kegagalan, metode Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) untuk menentukan konsekuensi kegagalan akibat mode kegagalan yang ditimbulkan dari failure mode. Lalu metode Statistical Processing Control (SPC) untuk menganalisis kecacatan produk untuk mengetahui apakah kecacatan produk masih dalam batas terkendali atau tidak. Untuk bagian pengendalian kualitas pada bahan baku menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity, Re-Order Point , Safety Stock, dan Total Inventory Cost. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mengenai hasil analisis serta perhitungan yang dilakukan dengan beberapa metode penyelesaian serta terdapat beberapa penyebab terjadinya kecacatan produksi dari 5 faktor, seperti: faktor manusia, metode kerja, lingkungan, bahan baku serta mesin yang digunakan. Dan memberikan solusi kepada perusahaan agar dapat mengurangi kecacatan dengan pengendalian kualitas produk.

Abstract

Quality control is a crucial aspect in the leather tanning industry to maintain competitiveness and minimize defective products. UD Rochmah Hidayat faces a problem with defect rates in vegetable-tanned cattle leather production reaching 20% of total production, exceeding the company's quality control limit of 10%. This study aims to identify factors causing defects and formulate improvement proposals to enhance product quality using the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) method and 5W+1H. Research data was obtained from the production period January to December 2024 with a total of 5,760 leather sheets produced and 1,152 sheets experiencing defects. Analytical tools used include check sheets, Pareto Diagrams, Fishbone Diagrams, control charts, and histograms. Identification results show three dominant types of defects: stiff defects (472 sheets), hole defects (384 sheets), and spot defects (296 sheets). Fishbone Diagram analysis identified main causal factors including human aspects (lack of supervision and accuracy), materials (differences in leather quality from various suppliers and damage due to disease), and methods (errors in the skinning process, imbalance in chemical composition, and improper storage conditions). Control chart analysis shows unstable production processes with several data points outside UCL and LCL limits. Improvement proposals using the 5W+1H method recommend adding supervisors, purchasing raw materials from one trusted supplier, training in knife usage according to standards, standardizing drying time, and using humidity and temperature measuring instruments in warehouses. Implementation of recommendations is expected to reduce defect rates to established control limits.

Abstract

The amount of waste in urban areas, especially in Yogyakarta City, is growing, which shows the need for better and cleaner waste management. Traditional trash bins need people to touch them directly, which can make them less clean and uncomfortable to use. This study focuses on creating an automatic trash bin that opens and closes without touching, using an ultrasonic sensor. This system is being developed for the Yogyakarta City Environmental Agency (DLH). The system uses an ultrasonic sensor to sense when something is near, a microcontroller to control everything, and a servo motor to open and close the bin automatically. The research process includes reading previous studies, designing the system, building a prototype, and testing how well it works. The test results show that the system can accurately detect objects within a certain distance and operate the opening and closing function smoothly and quickly. Using this automatic trash bin can help make public spaces cleaner, more comfortable for users, and support the development of technology-based waste management solutions in Yogyakarta City.

Abstract

This study aims to redesign the production facility layout at PT. MMP in order to improve material flow efficiency and reduce material handling costs. The methods applied in this research are Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), From-To Chart (FTC), and Blocplan. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation related to production processes, inter-department distances, and material movement frequencies. The results indicate that the existing layout is inefficient due to long material transfer distances. By redesigning the layout using the Blocplan method, a more optimal facility arrangement was obtained with reduced travel distances and improved production flow. The material handling cost analysis shows a decrease from Rp177,000 in the ARC layout to Rp64,000 in the Blocplan layout. Therefore, the Blocplan method is proven to be more effective in improving facility layout efficiency and reducing operational costs.
