Abstract

The production of hydrocarbon (C7-C20) and alcohol (C11-C19)  from fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) compound are produced from the transesterification of the seed oil of the Nyamplung that has been conducted by the catalytic hydrocracking using Al-MCM-41 and Pd2+-impregnated-Al-MCM-41 catalysts. The performance of catalysts were compared by various analysis including the acidity that was determined by pyridine and FTIR, the crystal structure observed by XRD, the surface area and pore volume analyzed by BET/BJH, the surface morphology observed by TEM, the metal on the surface of catalyst observed by XPS and the product of the hydrocracking analyzed by GC-MS. Hexagonal structure of the MCM-41(100) was shown in the 2θ = 3o-5o of the diffractogram. The presence of impregnated Al and Pd observed at the 2θ = 20o and 34o, respectively. The Pd/Al-MCM-41 catalyst was more acidic than Al-MCM-41 catalyst. The surface area and pore volume of the catalyst decreased after the impregnation process. The tendency of catalytic hydrocracking of hydrocarbon produced was indicated that more amount of Palladium have more hydrocarbons aliphatic than alcohol.

Abstract

Keberadaan infrastruktur penyediaan air bersih yang efisien merupakan salah satu pendukung utama perkembangan sebuah kawasan industri. Rasio kehilangan air merupakan indikator efisiensi untuk penilaian kinerja sistem penyediaan air bersih dan dalam pencapaiannya diperlukan pengendalian kebocoran secara intensif. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, terdapat empat tindakan dalam strategi manajemen kebocoran yang meliputi manajemen tekanan, kecepatan dan kualitas perbaikan, pengendalian kebocoran secara aktif, dan manajemen aset jaringan. Tindakan ini mempengaruhi bagaimana kebocoran dapat dikelola dan dengan demikian dapat diketahui volume dan nilai kebocoran secara ekonomis. Volume kehilangan air fisik tahunan cenderung meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya area layanan jaringan distribusi. Tingkat kenaikan tersebut dapat dihambat dengan menerapkan kombinasi yang tepat di antara keempat komponen dalam strategi pengelolaan kebocoran yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi intensitas dan pola spasial titik kebocoran dalam sistem distribusi air bersih pada kawasan industri PIER. Analisis dilakukan dengan berfokus pada faktor fisik dan operasional jaringan yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti terdahulu. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya signifikansi hubungan antara pola dan intensitas spasial titik kerusakan pipa dengan faktor operasional dan fisik jaringan. Data dalam penelitian ini meliputi data historis kebocoran pipa selama 10 tahun, data spasial, serta data fisik dan operasional jaringan. Regresi poisson dengan proses titik spasial dipilih sebagai pendekatan pola dan intensitas spasial titik kebocoran.

Abstract

Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilik atau karyawan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Kec. Berastagi yang terdaftar di Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Karo. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan digital akuntansi, kepercayaan dan kemudahan penggunaan digital akuntansi memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Pelaku UKM Kecamatan Berastagi. Namun secara parsial berpengaruh, hanya kemudahan dalam menggunakan digital akuntansi yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja individu, sedangkan pemanfaatan digital akuntansi dan kepercayaan tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap kinerja pelaku UKM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan digital akuntansi, kepercayaan dan kemudahan dalam penggunaan digital akuntansi memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

The project acceleration by the Crash Program is one of the ways that is often used to make time and cost efficiency on an ongoing project. Acceleration of project completion time will affect the efficiency of equipment and labor productivity. In the case study of the Surabaya Outer East Ring Road Project Construction Segment 1, a project that has the potential to be accelerated is discussed in order to obtain efficiency values in terms of time and cost, Project acceleration by means of the Crash Program using the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) method to determine the value of efficiency. This project uses resources, in this research the software used is Microsoft Project 2016. The research method used is to design network planning, find the critical path for each job, determine the work that has the potential to be accelerated, calculate the crash cost in additional working hours. and work shifts, calculating direct costs and indirect costs for each activity that changes due to changes in the duration of implementation, calculating the cost slope. Application of the Crash Program in the work of Asphalt Concrete Surface Layers (AC) thick 5 cm in the project will have an impact on increasing the time efficiency previously planned from 180 working days to 175 working days and efficiency with the difference in project costs of Rp. 18.313.935,8 with a ratio of 0,997 between the PDM method compared to the cost of the contract value calculated using the crashing project method.

Abstract

This work developed a selectively modified electrode for measuring the Fe(II) ions in continuous integration using voltammetry techniques. The study assessed various aspects, such as linearity, scan rate, repeatability, and real sample analysis. The experiment is performed using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The findings of the study indicated that the voltammetry method exhibited a regression line of y = 36.507 ln(x) + 990.73, with a correlation value of 0.9627, with an optimum scan rate of 20 mV/s and good repeatability over five times measurement. On the other hand, when comparing the results using the UV-Vis spectrophotometric technique, the regression equation was found to be y = 0.20438x − 0.06987, with a correlation value of 0.99583. Notably, the voltammetry measurement outperformed the UV-Vis method since it allowed analysis of Fe(II) at concentrations up to 6.35 × 10−4 ppm (or 1.00 × 10−11 M), while the UV-vis measurement could only analyze up to 1.5 ppm (or 2.36 × 10−5 M). Consequently, the developed technique proves to be superior to the other methods for the analysis of Fe(II).

Abstract

A plastic optical fiber with the structure of U-bent was utilized as a sensor to detect lard adulterants in olive oil. The macro bending was formed on the plastic optical fiber with a bending radius of 10 mm, 12.5 mm, and 15 mm. The output spectra and intensity were measured to detect the existence of lard substance in olive oil. The U-bent plastic optical fiber sensor with a bending radius of 12.5 mm has the optimum performance to detect the lard adulterant substance in olive oil. It has a sensitivity of 4.6 a.u/% with 855 nm LED source and 10.07 a.u/% with 940 nm LED source in intensity-based measurement and 0.50 nm/% in spectrum-based measurement. The proposed sensor is the potential to give rapid detection on lard adulterant in edible oil.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects, particularly high-rise building construction, PMBOK provides guidelines for project risk management, covering risk planning, identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, response planning, response implementation, and risk monitoring. As the scale of a project increases, so does the potential for emerging risks. If these risks are not properly managed, they can impede project progress and cause material losses. The research method used is a survey with the distribution of questionnaires, aiming to identify risk factors and their impacts on stakeholders in the construction of the 10-story RSIA Stella Maris building in Medan. To classify the risks, the Severity Index method was applied based on respondent answers. This study aims to identify risks encountered during the construction phase of the building, analyze the assessment results of identified risks, and map out the responses taken to address these risks. The data analysis results show that there are 27 risk variables, including 4 force majeure risks, 5 design and technology-related risks, 3 contractual risks, 5 material and equipment risks, 3 labor risks, 3 managerial risks, and 9 environmental risks. Referring to the probability and impact values of the 21 identified risk variables, 11 risk categories are avoided (risk avoidance), 8 categories are transferred (risk transfer), and 1 category is reduced (risk reduction). The conclusion of the RSIA Stella Maris high-rise building project implementation shows that the application of risk management in accordance with ISO 31000-2018 has only reached 85%, as the project management and implementation teams have not fully implemented the risk management process.

Abstract

Accumulation of marine waste is a problem for tourist areas, one of which is due to the activities of densely populated settlements around the coast. The study aims to determine the type and density of inorganic waste at Muara Indah Beach, Tanggamus Regency. The method used is purposive sampling with a sampling technique using a transect line. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative descriptive approach. The waste taken was macro-sized inorganic waste. The results of the study showed that plastic waste dominated the pieces of waste as much as 174.67 pcs with a density of 5.82 pcs/m2. The relative density value of plastic waste reached 84.25%. The lowest density was ceramic waste of 0.03 pcs/m2 with a relative density value of 0.48%. The government and surrounding communities are expected to work together to optimize waste management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan menguji hubungan antara Belanja Modal dengan Belanja Pemeliharaan pada Pemerintah Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun 2020. Variabel independen adalah belanja modal sedangkan variabel dependen adalah belanja pemeliharaan. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa data Laporan Realisasi dan Total Anggaran Belanja Modal dan Belanja Pemeliharaan tahun 2020 dan dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tahap pertama dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan tahap kedua mengumpulkan data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini. Data dioleh menggunakan Korelasi Pearson Product Moment, Uji Signifikansi Korelasi, Uji Regresi Linier Berganda dan Uji Koefisien Determinasi. Hasil analisis diolah menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment, hasil uji nilai signifikansi r hitung sebesar 0.414 dan korelasi antara belanja modal dengan belanja pemeliharaan (r) adalah 0.480 yang menunjukkan bahwa terjadi hubungan dengan tingkat sedang antara belanja modal dengan belanja pemeliharaan dan arah hubungannya positif serta diperoleh tingkat signifikan sebesar 0.414 dengan perhitungan yang diperoleh thitung < ttabel yaitu 0.947 < 2.776, maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, artinya variabel bebas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil dari analisi Koefisien Determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0.230 yang artinya belanja modal sebagai variabel bebas sebesar 23% terhadap belanja Pemeliharaan sebagai variabel terikat dan sisanya sebesar 77% akan dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel lainnya, diluar dari variabel penelitian yang mampu mempengaruhi nilai variabel terikat.

Abstract

Pacul Gowang Hamlet is one of the hamlets located in Jatirejo Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. Most of the residents of this hamlet work as farmers with main commodities such as rice, corn, and vegetables. However, the farming method used is still traditional, namely planting directly in the soil, which often results in suboptimal yields. The problems faced include unproductive land, low farmer income, lack of knowledge regarding modern cultivation technology, and limited understanding of post-harvest handling and product marketing. This community service program was carried out based on a situation analysis and discussions with local farmers. The purpose is to provide a solution by introducing the hydroponic drip fertigation system, a technique of supplying nutrients through drip irrigation controlled by a timer with high precision. This system was chosen because it is more efficient in water and nutrient usage, reduces the risk of crop failure, and can be applied to limited land areas. The crop cultivated is the Sweet Net 9 melon variety, which has a high market value and stable demand, such as from supermarkets and restaurants. This activity involved 10 KKN (Community Service Program) students to utilize idle land in order to produce high-quality horticultural products, thereby increasing the income and welfare of the Pacul Gowang Hamlet community.
