Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 adalah pandemi penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus corona yang dapat menjadi faktor risiko menurunnya ketahanan pangan tingkat keluarga sehingga menimbulkan masalah gizi (kekurangan gizi). Tujuan kegiatan PbMSK ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu posyandu dalam peningkatan kekebalan tubuh untuk melawan Pandemi Covid-19 dengan memperhatikan asupan makanan bergizi, status gizi dan konsumsi minuman kesehatan berbasis bahan alam (meniran). Mitra pengabdian adalah kelompok Posyandu Pengkolan (25 orang) dan Posyandu Pasir Ipis 1 (25 orang). Setiap  mitra diberikan dua kali penyuluhan, yaitu tanggal 12 dan 19 September 2020 di Posyandu Pengkolan dan 13 dan 20 September 2020 di Posyandu Pasir Ipis 1. Pelaksanaan penyuluhan menerapkan protokol kesehatan, seperti pengecekan suhu, menjaga jarak, memakai masker dan hand sanitizer. Materi yang disampaikan tentang pola makan seimbang, pengukuran status gizi, pembuatan minuman kesehatan berbasi meniran. Kedua kelompok mitra sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan dan sebagian besar  peserta menyukai minuman kesehatan berbasis meniran. Untuk sosialisasi kepada keluarga, setiap peserta dibekali leaflet materi penyuluhan serta paket bahan minuman kesehatan berbasis meniran,  sehingga penambahan pengetahuan tentang teh meniran dapat meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat dalam masa pandemi Covid 19.Kata Kunci: teh meniran; kekebalan tubuh;  jahe; madu; covid-19

Abstract

Introduction: The prevalence of stunting in West Java Province based on data from the 2021 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) reached 24.5%, above the national average stunting rate of 24.4% and stunting cases in Tasikmalaya City in 2022 were at 14.58% or 6,243. One of the risk factors for stunting is a lack of nutritional intake, especially animal protein. The mother's parenting pattern in providing food is influenced by the mother's knowledge of balanced nutrition rich in animal protein. Providing nutritional counseling using leaflets is expected to increase the mother's knowledge which will lead to a decrease in stunting. Objective: Reducing the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Kota Baru Village, Cibeureum District, Tasikmalaya City by providing nutritional education using counseling methods assisted by leaflets on balanced nutrition rich in animal protein for mothers of toddlers and integrated health post cadres. Method: This public service was conducted by providing nutritional education using counseling methods assisted by leaflets regarding balanced nutrition rich in animal protein for mothers of toddlers and integrated health post cadres. Result: there is an increase in the knowledge of mothers of toddlers regarding balanced nutrition rich in animal protein where the first measurement with an average knowledge score of 9.74 and the second measurement with an average knowledge score of 12.43. The p value = 0.000 indicates a significant difference between the average pre and post test values. Conclusion: Providing nutritional counseling assisted by leaflets about balanced nutrition high in animal protein is effective in increasing mothers' knowledge about balanced nutrition rich in animal protein for toddlers.

Abstract

Introduction: Underweight toddlers are conditions where a toddler's weight does not correspond to his or her proper age, which can then affect the growth and development of toddlers. Objective: This study aims to determine the risk factors for underweight in toddlers aged 12-59 months in Cikunten Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency.. Method: The research method used was an observational study with a case control design. The total sample was 82 toddlers (41 cases, 41 controls). The control sampling technique uses a 1:1 matching technique with simple random sampling. The instruments in this study used a characteristics questionnaire, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) household questionnaire, SQ-FFQ form and food photo books for nutritional adequacy levels. Result: The results of analysis using chi-square and OR show that the risk factors for underweight in toddlers aged 12-59 months in Cikunten Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency were family income (p-value 0.001; OR 5.56), history of infectious diseases (p-value 0.033; OR 3.23), energy adequacy level (p-value 0.000; OR 6.59), carbohydrates (p-value 0.000; OR 5.84), protein (p-value 0.003; OR 4.54), and fat (p -value 0.000; OR 5.87), as well as household PHBS (p-value 0.002; OR 5.1). Conclusion: Low family income is at risk 5.56 times, history of infectious diseases 3.23 times, low energy adequacy level 6.59 times, carbohydrates 5.84 times, fat 6.87 times, protein 4.54 times, and household PHBS 5.1 times regarding the incidence of underweight in toddlers aged 12-59 months in Cikunten Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency.
