Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to know about thedifferences between gender and style of answer the question ofundergraduate students in V semester of Government Science field,Syariah Faculty, UIN Sulthan Thaha Syaifuddin, Jambi, 2018/2019academic year. This study employed statistic descriptive analyze bychi-square and determined four variable, named R3Mr. The studyfound that there is a difference between gender and style of answerquestion, which is male students dominated in R1 and Mr variable, thepercentage of R1 and Mr variable are 70.7% and 62.5%, while thefemale students are in R2 and R3 variable, that is 62.5% and 53.3%

This study aimed to identify and to contrast differences in Javanese-Indonesian speech acts in the Yowis Ben The Series film. This study used a contrastive analysis study with a sociolinguistic approach, which in this context emphasizes the aspects of pronouns, personal titles, and language variations. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are speech acts in Javanese and Indonesian (translation) which are used as dialogues in the film. The data source in this study was taken from the Yowis Ben The Series film through the WeTV video streaming application. The results of this study indicated that there were differences usage of Javanese-Indonesian speech in aspects of pronouns, personal titles, and language variations. This difference was due to non-linguistic aspects, such as the speaker's background, age, position or degree of speech partners in society. Teaching is an educator activity in the learning process, which aims to develop the potential that students have in the form of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, the government has issued a policy of "Belajar Dari Rumah" (BDR) as an effort to overcome the spread of the virus. Teaching in accordance with BDR policy makes educators at private universities in Jambi city who do not have a Learning Management System (LMS) conduct teaching management in accordance with their expertise and knowledge. This study aims to describe the experience of educators in universities who do not have LMS in managing teaching during the Covid 19 pandemic so that learning can run according to learning objectives using a qualitative descriptive approach, involving ten educators with different scientific fields and courses. This research uses a qualitative research method involving ten educators from private universities in Jambi who do not have LMS. Data have collected through observations, interviews, and documents. The data collected have analyzed through the stages of reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions in accordance with research objectives. The data analyzed is using the technique validity of data through data triangulation. The study found that the management of educator teaching in private universities in Jambi city who do not have LMS is implemented BDR policies during the pandemic period following the established implementation rules without leaving the meaning of learning and learning process standards that have set out in government regulations through the stage of teaching management. This article aims to analyze the development of Islamic education in Indonesia and efforts to strengthen it in the national education system. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The study of literature by focusing on terms of peeling, summarizing and collecting a literature, then the authors provide an analysis of the data that has been collected. The results showed that during the pre-independence era religious education was not only not recognized but also not included in the education system, it was even suspected of being a place to incite and fight the invaders. At the time of independence it did not yet have a role because the government still tended to be controlled by nationalist and secular groups, if there were Islamic groups, Islam was still more abangan. Thus the New Order government continuously fostered the quality of madrasa education so that in 1975 a joint decree (SKB) was issued by three ministers on Improving the Quality of Education in Madrasas, where the SKB of the three ministers had advantages and disadvantages. So that the solution of this weakness is the government is trying to make breakthroughs to restore the function of the madrasa as a place to print religious leaders, namely by opening an alternative Madrasah Aliyah named Madrasah Aliyah Special Program (MAPK). Henceforth, this MAPK was changed to Madrasah Aliyah Religious (MAK) which focuses and strengthens the field of Islamic education. There are two strengthening of Islamic education in the national education system, namely strengthening Islamic educational institutions, and strengthening religious subjects in all schools both under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion and other Ministries. The major purpose of this study is to improve the critical thinking of undergraduate student in a government communication field, UIN STS Jambi. The subject of this study was undergraduate students in semester VA in academic 2018/2019. The instruments used in this study was the last report of student results, observation paper, and a text reading with a title "hoax, de vide et impera millenial" with three questions: Q1 What does the topic about?, Q2 How do you manage the phenomenon? And Q3 How do you think about the text’s contents?. This study employs action research with two stages from October to December 2018. Penggunaan teknologi dan komunikasi identik dengan kehidupan sosial masyarakat di era revolusi 4.0 dan kebutuhan dalam masyarakat (society) 5.0. Hal ini memerlukan tindakan preventif terhadap dampak negatif dari perkembangan tersebut sehingga individu dapat lebih bijaksana menghadapinya. Dampak negatif perkembangan teknologi sebagai bentuk kebutuhan masyarakat 5.0 yang diperoleh melalui televisi, media cetak maupun media sosial mengarah pada timbulnya degradasi moral dalam masyarakat Indonesia, seperti meningkatnya kasus korupsi, tindakan pelecehan, penghinaan, dan sebagainya. Oleh karena itu pendidikan karakter merupakan jalan yang ditempuh pemerintah melalui kebijakan pendidikan yang tertuang dalam kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Selanjutnya, pemerintah menetapkan PAUD sebagai pondasi pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana teknik dan keberlanjutan pendidikan karakter dalam era revolusi 4.0 dan society 5.0 melalui kajian pustaka dari berbagai sumber.
