Abstract

This study aims to explore and explain in depth the environmental factors and psychological phenomena that trigger impulse buying behavior in culinary tourism visitors at the Rahma Waterpark Semedo Canteen, Tegal Regency. The approach used in this study was qualitative with an analytical descriptive method. Primary data collection was carried out through direct observation and in-depth interviews with canteen owners and 38 visitor informants who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis is applied using a flowing model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that the majority of visitors were dominated by large family groups and elementary school children who made sudden transactions while resting. The most consistent external factors driving tourists' spontaneous shopping decisions are the atmosphere of the canteen environment that is clean and family-friendly, as well as sensory marketing in the form of the strong aroma of cuisine through the open canteen layout. This combination of stimuli successfully builds a comfortable mood (positive affect), thus loosening cognitive control and collapsing the shopping rationality of visitors in order to get instant emotional satisfaction at tourist sites.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology are driving universities to prepare students who are not only capable of becoming job seekers but also job creators through technology-based ventures. Technopreneurship has become a key approach because it combines entrepreneurial skills, technology, creativity, and innovation to create products or services with economic value. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing student technopreneurship in the digital era through entrepreneurship education, digital literacy, and business incubation. The method used is a literature review employing a descriptive qualitative approach through the examination of various scientific journals, books, and relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education serves as the foundation for shaping students’ mindset, motivation, and skills as prospective technopreneurs. Digital literacy supports students’ ability to leverage social media, e-commerce, digital platforms, and information technology to expand markets and enhance business efficiency. Meanwhile, business incubation serves as a mentoring mechanism that bridges university learning with real-world business practices. Thus, the development of student technopreneurship must be carried out in an integrated manner through practice-based curricula, the strengthening of digital skills, business mentoring, and collaboration with the government, industry, investors, and the business community.

Abstract

This study aims to fundamentally examine the implementation of digital marketing strategies through the TikTok platform and the adoption of non-cash payment systems based on QRIS among culinary MSMEs in the Alun-Alun Area of Tegal City to support their business performance. The research method employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques based on direct field observations, semi-structured interviews, and a netnographic approach through screening promotional content and engagement metrics on TikTok. The results indicate that active collaboration between culinary MSMEs and local or regional influencers via food review content effectively creates a viral effect that expands market reach and triggers substantial customer queues in physical stalls. This digital promotion success is optimally balanced by the integration of the QRIS payment system, directly validated at the cashier counters. The contactless payment facility is proven to shorten transaction times, minimize loose change obstacles, and maximize service productivity in a high-mobility, crowded culinary tourist spot. This study concludes that the synergy between aggressive visual-based digital marketing and a modern transaction ecosystem plays a transformative role in driving sales volume and securing the business continuity of culinary MSMEs amidst competitive market rivalries.
