Abstract

The low level of financial literacy and inclusion of Indonesian society, especially among parents with lower-middle educational and economic backgrounds, is a challenge in managing family finances. This condition influence parents' ability to meet children's educational needs and build long-term family welfare. This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of family financial management and investment through education and training for parents/guardians of students at AUM Sekolah Majelis Dikdasmen PNF Gresik. The method used is Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) which emphasizes active community participation from the planning, implementation to evaluation stages. The activity was carried out through an interactive seminar discussing three main topics: financial planning, budget management, and family investment. The results of the activity showed that out of 81 targeted participants, 20 parents attended and showed active participation. The training material was considered very relevant and applicable. The participants expressed an increase in understanding and high interest in more systematic family financial management, including the desire to continue advanced training related to investment and the use of digital budgeting tools. This activity shows that community-based educational interventions are able to increase parents' awareness and capacity in managing family finances wisely, so that they are worthy of being replicated in other communities with local adjustments.

Abstract

Increasing the capacity of human resources (HR) in elementary schools is urgent, especially amidst the challenges of low initiative, weak institutional vision, and minimal character training for teachers and education personnel. This community service activity aims to strengthen HR competency and work culture at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Gresik through training based on The 7 habits of highly effective people. The methods used include three main stages: initial discussion with partners through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to map problems; participatory and reflective training that integrates seven effective habits into educators' work routines; and evaluation based on questionnaires and personal reflection. The training was delivered contextually and interactively through case studies, simulations, and group discussions. The results of the activity showed positive changes in the way of thinking, time management, and collaboration patterns between participants. Teachers became more proactive, had long-term planning, and were better able to work in teams synergistically. The evaluation also showed increased motivation and awareness of the importance of balance between professional duties and self-development. This activity concluded that the 7 Habits training was effective in building productive and collaborative work characters in elementary education environments. It is recommended that this training be conducted periodically and accompanied by follow-up mentoring to ensure the sustainability of the impact and the formation of an adaptive work culture.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the delay in package delivery in the Last Mile Delivery Division of PT Satria Antaran Prima Tbk Surabaya Branch using the Six Sigma method, especially the DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities) approach. Logistics sees late delivery as a major problem that affects customer satisfaction and company reputation. To find and analyze the causes of delays, the SIX SIGMA method is used. Shipping data for the last six months were collected and analyzed to calculate the DPMO value. The results of data processing using the sigma method show 3 types of failures in re-delivery, misdirection and re-delivery reviewed from shipping data for 6 months January - June 2024, a total of 415,150 packages, the number of failed deliveries was 8,213, CTQ (critical to quality) owned is 1. The DPMO value is 19.783 so that the SIGMA value is 2.4. based on the SIGMA calculation shows a result of 2.4 which means statistically only 2.4 defects occur per million opportunities, This means almost perfect quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this observation is to evaluate the implementation of the 5R+S method in the production room in an effort to uphold productivity in CV. Unicorn Kencana Indopetra. High productivity is the company's main factor in facing intense global competition. The 5R+S method is an approach that follows five steps regarding concise, neat, clean, maintain, diligent, and safety. With the aim of creating an orderly and efficient work environment. Research was conducted through evaluation of the application of the 5R+S method in the company's production space. Data collection goes through hands-on processing,interviews,and analysis of related data. The evaluation results show that the company has implemented a 5R culture and K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) regulations for its employees and workers. However, there are still obstacles in implementing this method, especially related to the lack of awareness and discipline of workers in following the 5R procedure. Through careful evaluation, the company can identify the successes that have been achieved and the obstacles that may arise during the application of this method. Therefore, suggestions given from this study for improvement, including increased employee awareness and training, increased supervision, reward and recognition, evaluation and continuous improvement, and employee collaboration and active participation.

Abstract

Transportation in Indonesia plays a very important role for everyone, because with transportation we can save time and can act as a good service. Many people now use transportation services because they can improve their services, especially in terms of transactions so that people's needs can be met. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods that can be observed to obtain information from observations to the field. Based on the author's observations, the results of the facts of the existing problems are the existence of customer complaints when the goods arrive at their destination. The complaint in question is damaged or defective goods during the trip or during the delivery process. The condition of the damaged or defective goods is wet fertilizer caused by natural conditions during the trip and leaked / spilled fertilizer from the packaging due to squashed piles. The damage to the goods is because they are still using a trailer truck with an open tailgate, so the proposal in the existing problem is that the shipping process will be eliminated and will be replaced by a container so that the goods are safer and will not take much time during the delivery process.

Abstract

CV Cahaya Berkah Ilahi is a company engaged in the maintenance and repair of air conditioners (AC) that has been operating for more than 3 years. With rapid growth, the company faces various challenges, particularly in the suboptimal management of AC component inventory, which impacts operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This has prompted the company to implement the Just In Time (JIT) method in inventory management, aimed at enhancing the ability to respond to market demand and reduce operational costs. This study aims to analyze the Just-in-Time (JIT) method if applied at CV Cahaya Berkah Ilahi. This descriptive qualitative study uses the AC component raw material inventory at CV Cahaya Berkah Ilahi as the unit of analysis, along with two key informants: the owner and the head technician. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Just-in-Time (JIT) method can serve as a strategic solution to reduce inventory costs and improve operational efficiency. However, the success of JIT implementation depends on several factors, including effective communication among team members, strong relationships with suppliers, and the efficient use of information technology.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menemukan dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan penenumpukan barang yang tidak menggunakan metode 5s pada gudang dan upaya penanganan oleh PT. ABC yaitu gudang yang di Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dengan dua informan pemilihan dan dokumentasi tentang data barang yang ada di gudang PT. ABC. Metode ini menggunakan analisis data 5S. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua faktor internal yang bertanggung jawab atas penumpukan barang di PT. ABC: kurangnya penerapan metode 5S, tidak adanya gudang pengelolaan, keterbatasan tata letak. Salah satu upaya penyelesaian yang dilakukan adalah menerapkan metode 5s dan mengatur barang sesuai tata letak tempat.

Abstract

Latar Belakang - Pemilihan pemasok/supplier merupakan masalah pengambilan keputusan untuk menetapkan pilihan yang terbaik, dimana setiap kriteria digunakan mempunyai keperluan berbeda-beda dan informasi mengenai kriteria tersebut juga belum dimengerti secara pasti.Hal ini, pemilihan pemasok/supplier menurut insentif berbiaya rendah sudah tidak efektif.Untuk mencapai kerja maksimal dari supply chain/pemaso/supplier, lebih utama memasukkan pilihan lain terkait dengan tujuan perusahaan.Pemilihan pemasok/supplier multi kriteria harus mencakup faktor quality/kualitas dan quantity/kuantitas. Tujuan - untuk mengetahui kriteria supplier/pemasok yang menjadi pilihan utama dalam proses pemilihan supplier yang konsisten di PT Surya Alam Tunggal. Desain / Metodologi / Pendekatan - Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif Deskriptif.Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dalam penelitian ini adalah Untuk menganalisis supplier mana yang layak ketika perusahaanmemiliki target/goal tertentu terkait supplier yang diinginkan, seperti kualitas barang dagang  atau layanan yang tinggi, harga yang kompetitif, atau kemampuan untuk memenuhi persyaratan khusus dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Temuan - Kesenjangan antara keinginan perusahaan dan ketersediaan supplier: Terkadang, perusahaan memiliki preferensi tertentu terkait supplier yang diinginkan, seperti kualitas produk atau layanan yang tinggi, harga yang kompetitif, atau kemampuan untuk memenuhi persyaratan khusus. Namun, dalam praktiknya, tidak semua supplier dapat memenuhi semua keinginan tersebut. AHP dapat membantu dalam mengevaluasipreferensi dan menentukan tingkat. kesesuaian antara keinginan perusahaan dan ketersediaan supplier. Implikasi Penelitian - Pengambilan keputusan harus lebih memperhatikan dan mempertimbangkan kriteria – kriteria untuk pemilihan supplier/pemasok dengan pertimbangan yang lebih baik dan obyektif agar pemilihan supplier mendapat solusi yang optimal serta tanpa meninggalkan kerja sama yang sudah terjalin dengan supplier yang menjadi opsi cadangan/pilihan kedua. Batasan Penelitian – Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada kualitas baramg dagang frozen shrimp yang cepat mengalami pembusukan.

Desain / Metodologi / Pendekatan – Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diguanakan adalah wawancara tidak terstruktur, wawancara terstruktur, dokumentasi dan member check. Temuan – Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pengendalian persediaan yang dilakukan oleh UD Fitria Sari kurang efektif dan sering terjadi overstock dan stockout karena tidak ada ketentuan kuantitas pemesanan dan waktu pemesanya. Sedangkan pengendalian persediaan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity dinilai lebih efektif untuk menghindari overstock dan stockout dengan kuantitas pemesanan sebesar 30.082 kg, dengan waktu melakukan pemesanan pada titik persediaan 12.700 kg. Implikasi Penelitian – Temuan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi jika penelitian yang selanjutnya menghadapi kondisi yang serupa dengan temuan dalam penelitian ini. Batasan Penelitian – Penelitian ini tidak memperhatikan kualitas bahan baku.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai praktik pemeliharaan motor di PT. X. Pembahasan ini menggunakan pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pemeliharaan motor pompa. Melalui jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus mengenai fenomena tersebut adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang masalah dan tantangan yang terkait dengan pemeliharaan motor pompa. Hasil menunjukan ada tiga jenis kerusakan pada motor pompa yaitu suhu tinggi, getaran tinggi, dan bearing macet. Kerusakan suhu tinggi merupakan kerusakan paling banyak, sementara kerusakan bearing macet sebagai penyebab kerusakan terbanyak kedua dan kerusakan getaran tinggi sebagai penyebab kerusakan ketiga. Mengenai peta kendali, ada tiga data yang di luar batas kendali pada bulan Januari, Juni, dan Agustus. Melalui uraian-uraian fenomena yang sudah dipaparkan dan diuraikan pada bab sebelumnya tentang meningkatkan kualitas pemeliharaan yang maksimal untuk mengurangi kerusakan motor pompa dan mengendalikan biaya perbaikan yang tak terduga. Melalui siklus DMAIC dapat memberikan pengetahuan penyebab terjadinya kerusakan pada motor, memberikan usulan maupun solusi dalam persoalan penyebab masalah dan memberikan usulan baru untuk melakukan pengendalian dari proses perbaikan. Penelitian ini memiliki batasan penelitian yang berfokus pada proses pemeliharaan motor pompa.
