Abstract

Waste management is a social problem that needs to be addressed to foster a positive attitude toward the need to develop waste management. Campaigns through social media need to be evaluated for their benefits. Only a few studies have evaluated the impact of exposure and presentation of information conveyed via social media. This study aims to see the effect of exposure and presentation of information from @waste4change delivered through Instagram on user attitudes. The population is social media users, and a sample of 100 users is taken. The research used a survey with purposive sampling techniques, and the questionnaires were distributed through social media. The results show that exposure and information presentation significantly influence user attitudes. In addition, the presentation of information in this study showed the role of valence and weight of information. The findings confirm the role of Instagram platform content in providing education.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia semakin mendorong digitalisasi di tingkat desa di mana pengembangan infrastruktur Teknologi, Informasi, dan Komunikasi (TIK) menjadi sangat krusial. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas situs web desa dalam menjangkau masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan di desa Baros. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada tim situs web desa Baros, yang terdiri dari perangkat desa dan elemen masyarakat, terkait dengan optimisasi mesin pencari. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pengelola situs web desa Baros aktif dalam mengunggah konten, tetapi masih perlu pemahaman lebih lanjut terkait tata kelola situs web. Kegiatan pengabdian memberikan pengetahuan tentang riset kata kunci, tautan balik, dan penggunaan kata kunci, yang secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan pengelola situs web. Keberhasilan desa Baros sebagai Desa Digital dapat dicapai melalui pengelolaan situs web yang efektif. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap penguatan infrastruktur TIK di tingkat desa, sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan digitalisasi di seluruh negeri.

Abstract

In the marriage that experiences adjustments at the beginning of the married couples aged 0-5 years, interpersonal communication is very important so that the relationship can develop and stabilize. This initial period is prone to conflict due to differences that must be adjusted between partners. Interpersonal communication skills are important in this critical period to understand each other and reduce the possibility of problems that can affect marital stability. This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal communication skills on the marital stability of married couples aged 0-5 years in Bekasi City using social penetration theory. Social penetration theory illustrates that self-disclosure and changes in communication can deepen a relationship, allowing it to develop from a more casual to a more intimate connection. Quantitative explanatory methodology was used in this study. The results obtained showed that there was a positive influence of 40.7% and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 from interpersonal communication skills on the marital stability of married couples aged 0-5 years in Bekasi City. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of interpersonal communication skills on the marital stability of married couples aged 0-5 years in Bekasi City.

Abstract

This socialization aimed to increase participants' knowledge of driving safety. Participants who are students at Al Kamilah Foundation need to be equipped with knowledge related to driving safety because they are at high risk of experiencing road incidents due to negligence.  Youth health and safety are necessary to empower future generations as human resources. The service provided this time was a socialization that took place in a hybrid manner. The participants were students at the Al Kamilah Foundation, Serua Bojongsari, Depok. Socialization was also supported by tracking participants' understanding using pre- and post-test questionnaires. Based on this service, the service team has made efforts to increase participants' knowledge of driving safety.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi sumber informasi bagi masyarakat, termasuk anak-anak. Namun, tidak semua informasi di media sosial ramah untuk anak karena banyak informasi yang menampilkan kekerasan, pornografi, perundungan, hoaks, dan lain-lain. Karena itu, perlu ada sosialiasasi literasi informasi ramah anak kepada anak-anak maupun orang dewasa yang selama ini mendampingi anak-anak. Artikel ini merupakan hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang sosialisasi literasi informasi ramah anak yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Kamilah, Kabupaten Sukabumi. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan format diskusi dengan audiens ibu-ibu sekitar pondok pesantren. Melalui kegiatan diskusi diketahui bahwa banyak orang tua yang mendampingi anak atau cucunya dalam menggunakan ponsel cerdas

Abstract

Women must grasp the idea of domestic abuse in order to anticipate if they spot incidents of it.  The purpose of the study was to evaluate the relationship between perceptions of domestic violence and online community engagement on social media. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires through social media. The population were women social media users and used purposive sampling techniques with the criteria that respondents were married or had been married, had been victims of domestic violence (physical or mental), and had accessed domestic violence issues on social media in the last six months. Data collection was carried out in July-August 2024. The data was obtained from 300 women and analyzed using the SPSS 25 application. The results show that there is a significant correlation between perceptions of domestic violence and online community engagement in the community of domestic violence victims on social media. However, the strength of the relationship is low. Further analysis shows that the differences in respondents' community engagement levels were divided into three perception ownership groups. The findings suggest that women victims of domestic violence might join groups on social media to receive direction and counsel meant to assist with their issues.
