Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengaplikasikan Solar Home System (SHS) pada rumah-rumah di Daerah Tambak Ikan Kecamatan Malili Kabupaten Luwu Timur Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak SHS, efektifitas SHS, dan tanggapan masyarakat pada rumah-rumah di Daerah Tambak Ikan Kecamatan Malili Kabupaten Luwu Timur Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Variabel penelitian ini adalah variabel tunggal yaitu Solar Home System. Pupulasi penelitian ini adalah 140 orang nelayan tambak Kecamatan Malili dengan sampel 28 orang. Data hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan analisis data observasi untuk keluaran sel surya dan kuesioner untuk angket yang dibagikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Dampak SHS sangat tinggi yaitu dengan aspek kegunaan sebesar 82,29%. (2) SHS terbukti efektif dengan nilai efisiensi 29% yang dimana melebihi standar 12% - 19% dan kemampuan beban SHS dalam menarik beban lebih besar dari pada penggunaan beban rutinitas rumah-rumah di Daerah Tambak Ikan. (3) Tanggapan masyarakat terhadap SHS sangat tinggi yaitu pada aspek kemudahan pengguna sebesar 82,14% dan aspek kepuasan pengguna sebesar 92,28%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) mengetahui hasil kajian potensi pembangunan PLTMH di bendungan Lalenri`e Kecamatan Lappariaja Kabupaten Bone. 2) mengetahui seberapa besar potensi daya yang dapat dibangkitkan dari PLTMH bendungan Lalenri`e. 3) mengetahui seberapa luas jangkauan distribusi layanan kelistrikan dari PLTMH bendungan Lalenrie. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan yaitu observasi lapangan, wawancara pihak terkait dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis menggunakan software hydropower casimir berdasarkan pada data dinas terkait, badan pusat statistik dan pengelola bendungan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; 1) debit air per tahun yakni Q2020 = 6,455 m3/s, Q2021 = 6,948 m3/s, Q2022 = 7,211 m3/s. 2) potensi daya listrik yang dapat dihasilkan oleh PLTMH bendungan Lalenri`e adalah P2020 = 106,1 kW, P2021 = 114,1 kW, P2022 = 118,5 kW. Potensi luas jangkauan distribusi layanan listrik dari PLTMH bendungan Lalenri`e adalah 50-100 konsumen.

Abstract

The development of a multi-sensor device and the implementation of a data transmission system to a database for predicting plant suitability parameters are the focus of this paper. This technology enables accurate and continuous data collection for agricultural condition monitoring. The study utilizes a DHT22 sensor for air temperature and humidity, a pH sensor for soil pH, a soil moisture sensor for soil moisture, a rain gauge sensor for rainfall, and a raindrop sensor for rain detection. The data from these sensors are managed by an ESP32 microcontroller and transmitted to a Firebase database. The multi-sensor device was functionally tested and compared with valid reference sensor readings. The results show that all the multi-sensor devices and the recording system in the Firebase database functioned well. The average measurement error for the DHT22 temperature sensor was 1.15°C, with 2.9% for humidity, 0.72% for the pH sensor, and the soil moisture sensor showed 100% accuracy. This system can be applied as a parameter for predicting the suitability of plant types with soil and environmental conditions.

Abstract

The goal of this research project is to show how the series capacitor compensator can reduce the effects of voltage-dip problem in an electrical arc furnace operation. The case of PT. Krakatau Steel (a major steel company in Indonesia) is taken into consideration. A 195 KVA/220 arc furnace operating in the company is known to cause votage-dip problem in the surrounding distribution system supplied by a 400 MW electrical power plant. The dip is recorded as ranging from 8% to 17%.

Abstract

The main problem in implementing this Community Service activity is how to improve the quality of human resources for members of PKBM Want to Advance Bantaeng Regency in maintaining and repairing household electrical equipment. The aim and benefit of carrying out the activity is to provide basic knowledge for PKBM Want to Advance members on how to maintain and repair household electrical equipment quickly and precisely. The rationale behind this training activity is how to ensure that PKBM Want to Progress Bantaeng Regency members no longer have difficulties in maintaining and repairing household electrical equipment, both PKBM members themselves and in the community. This training is also carried out using lecture, discussion, question and answer and simulation (practice) methods. From these results it can be concluded that the skills of the Bantaeng Regency Want to Advance PKBM members in maintaining and repairing household electrical equipment have increased significantly.

Abstract

Background/Context: Enhancing network security is very important to support activities that require networks in their implementation, especially in the field of vocational education. Objective/Purpose: This study aims to implement a MikroTik RouterOS-based firewall to enhance network security in the department of TJKT SMK Negeri 2 Gowa. Method: A quantitative experimental approach was employed in this study, with four tests, computer access testing, site blocking testing, educational site access testing, and stability and traffic testing. Usability was assessed using the ISO 9241-11 questionnaire involving 21 respondents, and the data were analyzed descriptively using a Likert scale. Results: The implementation results showed that the firewall on MikroTik RouterOS was able to enhance network security both based on technical aspects and usability evaluation results. Computer access testing found that the packet filtering firewall achieved a 100% success rate in restricting computer access according to the established rules. In content filtering, the firewall also achieved 100% success in blocking 13 non-educational sites while still allowing access to 7 educational sites through a combination of layer 7 protocols and address lists. Stability and traffic testing demonstrated the effectiveness of the raw firewall  in mitigating DoS attacks, system performance stabilized a bandwidth of 12.84 Mbps, latency of 55.2 ms, and 24% CPU usage. Conclusion: MikroTik RouterOS-based firewall received an average usability evaluation score of 3.81 (good category). Findings demonstrate the effectiveness of firewalls in improving network security in school laboratories based on the tested filter rules and DoS mitigation scenarios, thus supporting the network learning process.

Abstract

Okto Pinang, 2021. Pengembangan Aplikasi Motif Kain Tenun Toraja Khas Toraja Berbasis Android. Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Dan Komputer. Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer, Teknik, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Pembimbing Zulhajji dan Muliaty Yantahin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi motif terbaru kain tenun khas Toraja berbasis android. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan prototype.data dikumpulkan menggunakan Teknik observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Sistem di validasi oleh dua orang ahli instrumen, dua orang ahli media, dan dua orang ahli konten. Sistem dievaluasi oleh 30 responden. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi dalam bentuk aplikasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi untuk mengetahui motif terbaru kain tenun khas Toraja. Sistem ini telah melewati pengujian menggunakan ISO 25010 dengan empat karakteristik yaitu functional suitability, campatibilty, performance efficiency, dan usability. Dengan hasil, (a) pengujian aspek functional suitability menggunakan teknik checklist dan matriks feature Completeness mendapatkan nilai 1 dengan kategori dapat diterima (receptable) dan telah memenuhi aspek functional suitability, (b) pengujian aspek compatibility, aplikasi kompatibel dari sisi Coexistence dan aplikasi dapat berjalan berdampingan dengan aplikasi lain tanpa merugikan salah satu aplikasi , (c) aspek performance efficiency dinyatakan telah memenuhi kriteria dimana pengujian proses installing application dan launching application tidak memakan waktu yang lama, (d) pengujian aspek usability menggunakan kuesioner yang mengacu pada USE (Usefulness, Satisfaction, and Ease of Use) questionnaire dengan hasil yang dikategorikan “sangat baik”.
