Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan digital learning dalam pembelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 4 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan wawancara serta teknik analisis data menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan digital learning dalam pembelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 4 Malang sangat efektif dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 79.38% berdasarkan empat indikator efektivitas pembelajaran: kualitas pengajaran, dilihat dari proses dan hasil pembelajaran yang menunjukkan persentase sebesar 77.45% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Tingkat pengajaran, dilihat dari kesiapan peserta didik mengikuti pembelajaran menunjukkan persentase sebesar 83.45% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Insentif, dilihat dari aktivitas guru memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik menunjukkan persentase sebesar 77.58% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Dilihat dari sejauh mana guru dan peserta didik memaksimalkan penggunaan waktu dalam proses pembelajaran PPKn menggunakan digital learning menunjukkan persentase sebesar 79.28% dengan kriteria sangat efektif.

Abstract

Critical and creative thinking abilities of 8th-grade students in MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung Malang are still low. This can be seen when students have difficulties in expressing opinions and finding a correlation between materials and problems in the student environment. Students are also not creative in making alternative answers to problems because most students answer by copying answers from the 8th-grade civic education book. This study aims to determine the implementation of the RADEC learning model assisted by Crossword Puzzles to improve students' critical and creative thinking abilities. This study used a qualitative approach. The type of study used was classroom action research, which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of three stages: (1) planning, (2) action or observation, and (3) reflection. The subjects of the study were 26 students in class 8A of MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung. Data analysis included the analysis of learning implementation, critical, and creative thinking. The results of the study showed: 1) the implementation of the RADEC learning model assisted by crossword puzzle showed that there is an improvement in critical thinking ability school of class 8A students in MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung Malang with score gain includes in moderate category, and 2) the implementation of RADEC learning model assisted by Crossword Puzzle showed that there is an improve in creative thinking ability school of class 8A students in MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung Malang with score gain includes in moderate category.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze local democracy in the old order, new order, and reform eras and reconstruct local democracy in Indonesia. The study was sociological juridical with a statutory approach, a historical approach, and a conceptual approach. Local democracy was reflected in the election of regional heads from the old order era until the reformation, which changed under the applicable laws and regulations. The Regional People's Representative Council elected regional heads in the old order era. In contrast, in the new order era, they were elected by the Regional People's Representative Council based on mutual agreement with the Minister of Home Affairs or the Governor. The filling of regional head positions in the reform era, which the Regional People's Representative Council previously carried out, was done directly by the people. Indonesia reconstructed local democracy through several alternatives: regional heads elected by the Regional People's Representative Council, elected through determination, directly elected by the people, and elections in accordance with regional peculiarities.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how efforts to instill character values are conducted by Persik Kediri cyberxtreme football supporters through the web and social media. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The character values instilled in supporters’ activities are religious, integrity, nationalist, cooperation, and independence with clarity in their activities conducted during matches as well as activities outside the match or not related to football. Activities conducted include social service, breaking fast together, distributing takjil, making pictures or writing with calligraphy, making t-shirts and merchandise to sell. Cultivating character through various activities and using social media has been quite successful in changing supporter behavior in a more positive direction. Social media is a means for conveying information and discussions between members and administrators

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the portrait, shape, and strengthening of the voting behavior of villagers and the political education of young and old villagers in the election of village heads. This study used a case study qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that the portrait of villager voting behavior in the village head election was seen through the use of voting rights, material and physical support, and participation in village deliberations. The form of the voting behavior of villagers in the village head election is included in the categories of novice voters, sawing voters, floating masses, and permanent voters. Strengthening the voting behavior of villagers in the election of village heads was carried out through socialization carried out by village officials, contestants, volunteers, churches, and the committee of the voting group. The political education of young villagers in the election of village heads was obtained from various online media, while the older group received political education from print media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service and Population and Family Planning Control with the Embun Surabaya Foundation in preventing sexual violence against children as well as obstacles and solutions in preventing sexual violence against children. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The data collection technique in this study used participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data obtained are described used qualitative techniques with pattern matching. The role of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service and Population and Family Planning Control in preventing sexual violence includes socialization at family learning centers, socialization of youth dynamics, and the Kampunge Arek Suroboyo Friendly to Women and Children program. The Embun Surabaya Foundation acts as a speaker in seminar activities and conducts socialization to several schools. The obstacles of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service and Population and Family Planning Control in preventing sexual violence are overcome by inviting participants early, providing seminar facilities, and involving students to help participating villages compile portfolios. The obstacles of the Embun Surabaya Foundation are lack of funds and human resources which are overcome by opening volunteer vacancies and improving the objectives of the institution at the notary's office.

Abstract

The learning achievement of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tugu is still relatively low, particularly in the material of formulating and establishing Pancasila as the state ideology, which is approached textually. This issue is exacerbated by the minimal use of innovative learning media by teachers. This development research aims to develop a GIDI-SNAKE learning media product based on Powtoon animation videos to address the learning issues at SMP Negeri 1 Tugu, Trenggalek Regency, and to test the product based on its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research model used is the ADDIE model. The specifications of the developed product include a GIDI-SNAKE game board with game instruments consisting of question cards and information cards, each equipped with a barcode integrated with Powtoon animation videos. Since GIDI-SNAKE is a development of the traditional Snakes and Ladders game, it is also equipped with dice, pawns, and cue cards or guide cards. The data analysis used descriptive statistics with a paired sample t-test after being tested and confirmed as valid, reliable, and normal. The results of the study show that the developed media meets the levels of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. It meets the validity level with an average validation score of 3.84 from two media validators and 3.70 from the material validator. It meets the practicality level with a positive response from students, achieving a 94.7% approval rate. It meets the effectiveness level, as the results of the Paired sample t-test showed an average pre-test score of 41.29 and a post-test score of 85.23, with a significance value (sig) of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant improvement in learning outcomes, thus confirming the media’s effectiveness.
