Abstract

This research aims to optimize the bore pile work method on the Turyapada Tower Technology Park project by PT XYZ using the Six Sigma DMAIC approach. At the define stage, the identified problem was the discrepancy between actual and theoretical bore pile volumes, impacting cost, time, and quality. During the measure stage, the defect rate was 134,000 per million opportunities, equating to 2.61 sigma. Analysis using a fishbone diagram revealed several factors causing the problem: short casing installed post-drilling, uncoated bore pile walls, and inappropriate drill bits that slowed work in red soil terrain containing hard rock. Proposed improvements in the improve stage include using full casing or longer casing to reduce the risk of wall collapse, drilling and installing casing simultaneously, coating bore pile walls with bentonite to make them smoother and straighter, and using a combination of DTH and Tricone drill bits to expedite work. At the control stage, the 5W+1H method is used to ensure each improvement is implemented effectively and sustainably. Implementing these solutions is expected to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of bore pile work, as well as reduce the volume discrepancy between actual and theoretical measures.

Abstract

Among the various factors that can impact the strength of concrete, the curing method is a key factor. This treatment aims to maintain moisture on the concrete surface, allowing the hydration process to run optimally. Generally, hydration lasts for 28 days, allowing the concrete to reach a strength that meets the established quality standards. However, various conditions in the field are one of the factors that prevent curing from being carried out perfectly. In this study, the researcher wanted to show how the curing process affects the strength of the resulting concrete. The test used concrete samples with curing ages of 7, 14, and 28 days, along with cylindrical test objects. The test results showed that the compressive strength of the concrete increased with increasing curing age, namely 24.11 MPa (7 days), 28.42 MPa (14 days), and 32.56 MPa (28 days), meeting the design quality of 30 MPa. SQC analysis was carried out using the I diagram and MR diagram for each age group of test objects. The results showed that the entire testing process fell within the quality control limits, indicating that the curing process was considered stable. This study confirms the importance of optimal concrete curing for up to 28 days to achieve maximum compressive strength

Abstract

The development of digital payment systems has encouraged the increased use of electronic money (e-money) in Indonesia, particularly among the young generation as digital natives. However, the level of acceptance and usage of e-money is not yet evenly distributed, including in urban areas such as Denpasar City. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing e-money acceptance among the young generation in Denpasar City using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach with 114 respondent. This study employed a survey method with purposive sampling targeting young e-money users in Denpasar City. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant effect on attitude toward using e-money, and attitude toward using significantly affects behavioral intention to use. These findings confirm that perceived benefits and ease of use are key determinants in shaping attitudes and intentions to use e-money among the young generation. This study provides practical implications for e-money service providers and policymakers in promoting digital payment adoption.
