Abstract

ABSTRACT Problems that occur in the learning process are low of student’s biology achievement it was proved by students KKM that below 83 thase problems happens since some factor. One of the factor is media, media that used by the teacher are whiteboard, marker, chart, and power point. So that it is important for teacher to find out new media to overcome that problem. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of instructional media Interactive CD in human Respiratory System material toward student’s motivation and biology achievement. The design of this research is an experimental study it used Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. The result of this research can be seen from student’s biology score between experiments and control class87,97 and 79,37. Then, data analysis was performed by t tes (4,53) > t table (1,66) which means H1, is accepted. It can be concluded that Interactive CD can be improve student’s motivation and biology achievement.

Abstract

The result of supervision and evaluation of  KTSP 2009 finds some things that become difficulties for teachers in managing the psychomotor assessment tools. Difficulties referred to, among others, how to determine the operational verb in accordance with the level of competence in psychomotor, techniques to develop indicators of achievement in the field of psychomotor, assessment tools and strategies to prepare the appropriate exam materials related to characteristics of psychomotor aspects and how to carry out an objective assessment, so that the necessary development of assessment instruments psychomotor valid and practical in the material of digestive system. This research is a development (research for the development) that uses model Fenrich, namely analysis (analysis), planning (planning), design (design), development (development), implementation evalution (implementation), evalution (evaluation) and revision (revision) Implementationdan evalution phase was not conducted. Validation of data was obtained from the validation sheet filled out by experts and practical that were obtained from a questionnaire completed by the practitioner. Validity measured includes material aspects, aspects of instrument construction, and aspects of the language. The practicalities of measuring the ease of designing and using assessment instruments psychomotor developed. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis in the form persentage.Instrument of psychomotor assessment on the material digestive system is designed in the form of performance assessment, products, projects which are completed with assessment rubrics of each instrument. The tests of psychomotor assessment instruments are categorized as very valid with an average value for the performance appraisal instrument (performance) i.e. 90.3%, 92.2% is product assessment instruments, and project assesment insrument i.e.97.4%. While the level of psychomotor assessment instruments is categorized practicality with an average value i.e 72.23%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas lembar kerja siswa berbasis problem based learning pada materi keanekaragaman hayati untuk SMA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and The develop-ment) adalah model 4-D. Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan meliputi yaitu; Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate atau diadaptasikan menjadi model 4-P yaitu; Pendefenisian, Pendesainan, Pengembangan, dan Penyebaran. Namun dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap Pengembangan yaitu sampai pada tahap validitas. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2015. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat dan SMAN 3 Padang.Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil uji validitas LKS oleh Dosen dan Guru. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Angket uji validitas diisi oleh dosen dan guru.Data pada penelitian  ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil validitas dari dosen dan guru LKS ini nilai rata-rata 84,42 % dengan kriteria sangat valid.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student's high-level thinking skills on the body's defense system topics. Type of research is descriptive qualitative with a population of students of all grade XII MIPA Mathematics and natural sciences totaling 195 people. The sample in this study was taken by the Random Sampling technique, amounting to 39 people. The type of data collection used is a written test consisting of 24 questions consisting of taxonomic levels C4, C5, and C6. Data of high-level thinking skills obtained from the critical thinking skills test by 34%, creative thinking by 52%, problem-solving 30% and decision making by 35%. The result of the ability to analyze by 44%, evaluate by 29% and create by 27%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the ability to think of high-level students is categorized as not good.

Abstract

Maninjau lake is the largest center for the freshwater floating-net-cage fisheries system in West Sumatra. Every year, during the up-welling season, a huge number of fish suffered to death in the lake including nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), a common species cultivated in the floating-net cages. This current study aimed to determine the factors contributing to the death of fish by measuring the concentration of toxic chemical substances in the blood plasm of nile tilapia as well as in the subtrate collected from the bottom of the lake. The samples were collected in the sites with higher number of floating-net cages as well as higher number of mass death of fish (Tanjung Sani, Pakan Raba’a dan Maninjau) during the up-welling season. The result revealed that the levels of phosphate, nitrate, nitrit, and amonium were higher in the blood plasm of the fish (87, 216, 13.9, 0.6, dan 5.5 mg/l). Moreover, the levels of those chemical substances were also higher in the substrate of the lake (82.150, 0.546, 33.166, 23.954 dan 0.0776 mg/l). The higher concentration of the toxic chemical substances might contribute to the mass death of fish living in the floating-net cages during the up-welling season.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat efek pencemaran perairan terhadap ikan melalui observasi preparat histologis insang ikan nila (Oreochormis niloticus L). Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan Januari 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode observasi langsung terhadap struktur insang ikan nila. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling pada 3 lokasi di Danau Maninjau. Pembuatan preparat menggunakan metode paraffin dan pewarnaan Haematoxylin-Eosin di Laboratorium Balai Veteriner, Bukittinggi. Hasil pengamatan struktur histologi insang menunjukkan adanya perubahan struktur histologi berupa hipertropi, fusi lamella, kerusakan struktur lamella hingga hilangnya struktur lamella. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa efek pencemaran perairan dapat mengakibatkan perubahan terhadap struktur histologi insang ikan nila.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di  SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Padang belum mencapai hasil yang lebih baik, hal ini terbukti secara umum nilai pembelajaran siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Padang masih banyak di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya perhatian siswa dalam belajar. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan karena masih ada guru yang belum menggunakan media dan bahan ajar yang sangat dibutuhkan  dalam pembelajaran daring. Untuk tercapainya penyampaian materi yang baik dan bisa mendukung pembelajaran mandiri siswa di butuhkan keterampilan guru untuk membuat modul.  Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu diadakan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dengan cara membimbing dan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SMP Muhammadiyah 1  Padang merancang modul pada mata pelajaran yang di ampunya. Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Bahan Ajar, Modul

Abstract

Game-based Learning menjadi salah satu cara memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keikutsertaan kolaborasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Aplikasi Kahoot sebagai platform teknologi pembelajaran mengkombinasikan pengalaman evaluasi pembelajaran dengan mengkombinasikan melalui game interaktif dan dilengkapi sistem monitoring aktifitas para peserta didik. Dengan semakin berkembangnya alat teknologi, penggunaan alat evaluasi dengan basic teknologi ini memberi dampak yang positif, karena peserta didik akan antusias dalam mengikut pembelajaran. Pegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru-guru dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran online berbasis game yang menarik bagi siswa.

Abstract

One of the course achievements in the Inovasi Pembelajaran Biologi course is that students are able to design a variety of biology learning innovations, especially those based on technology. However, in reality students still have not utilized technology to the fullest and there has not been clear innovation in the use of technology in the various innovations that students have designed. So this research aims to develop a web-based information system as a learning medium that will be used during the learning process and at the same time as a direct example of the application of the use of Information, Media and Technology Skills in learning innovation. This research is a development research that focuses more on software development. System development is carried out using an iterative model and beta testing. The results of this study are in the form of an information system called SINOPE with the results of beta testing for each indicator, namely: design 91.7%, menu 90%, content 83.3%, ease of use 93.3%, usability 91.7%, average subject responses research on SINOPE is 90% with a very good category.
