Abstract

Game-based Learning menjadi salah satu cara memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keikutsertaan kolaborasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Aplikasi Kahoot sebagai platform teknologi pembelajaran mengkombinasikan pengalaman evaluasi pembelajaran dengan mengkombinasikan melalui game interaktif dan dilengkapi sistem monitoring aktifitas para peserta didik. Dengan semakin berkembangnya alat teknologi, penggunaan alat evaluasi dengan basic teknologi ini memberi dampak yang positif, karena peserta didik akan antusias dalam mengikut pembelajaran. Pegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru-guru dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran online berbasis game yang menarik bagi siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di  SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Padang belum mencapai hasil yang lebih baik, hal ini terbukti secara umum nilai pembelajaran siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Padang masih banyak di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya perhatian siswa dalam belajar. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan karena masih ada guru yang belum menggunakan media dan bahan ajar yang sangat dibutuhkan  dalam pembelajaran daring. Untuk tercapainya penyampaian materi yang baik dan bisa mendukung pembelajaran mandiri siswa di butuhkan keterampilan guru untuk membuat modul.  Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu diadakan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dengan cara membimbing dan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SMP Muhammadiyah 1  Padang merancang modul pada mata pelajaran yang di ampunya. Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Bahan Ajar, Modul

Abstract

Previously, the literacy skill of students class XI at SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang Pasaman Barat Regency was still low. The students only memorized concepts and theories so that they were not able to implement the concepts in their life. The research aimed at  investigating the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning on students' literacy skill. This research have been used Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. The sample of this research was high school students in class XI taken using simple random sampling. The data were analyzed with Mann Whitney test. The result shows the increase of the students’ average literacy skill after being taught with Problem Based Learning in the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning Model is effective on the students’ scientific literacy skill in class XI of SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang Pasaman Barat.

Abstract

This study aims to produce instruments that can measure the level of students' higher order thinking skills that are valid and practical for students of class XI SMA. The developed instrument contains 40 multiple choice questions, and 10 essay questions consisting Taxonomy Levels C4, C5, and C6 with indicators of high-level thinking critical thinking, decision making, problem solving and creative thinking. This  research used the Research and Development (R&D) type of Tessmer's modified formative evaluation with the stages of self-evaluation, prototyping (expert review, one-to-one, and small group). The result of tis research indicates that the instrument for measuring higher order thinking skills in class XI Biology SMA students developed is categorized as very valid and very practical with the validity value of expert rivew very valid (89.9%), one-to-one is very valid (87, 5%)). And the practical value of teachers is very practical (91.33%), and students are very practical (87.15%).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the students' needs for biology learning resources used in the eighth-grade classroom at MTsS Qasratul Jannah. The instruments used in the study include interview questionnaires with teachers, student needs questionnaires, and book analysis. Based on the interview results, it was found that the school only uses one textbook and worksheets available in the market. Additionally, 0% of students have not met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) in the material on the human digestive system. The student needs questionnaire revealed that 94.7% of students face difficulties in understanding the material on the human digestive system, and 42.1% of students prefer handout teaching materials. The book analysis revealed deficiencies in the teaching materials, as they do not cover efforts to maintain the health of the human digestive system, and do not include illustrations in each topic. Based on the analysis, supporting teaching materials are needed, such as handouts that align with the students' needs

Abstract

There are several skills used to face the challenges of 21st century development which are abbreviated as 4C, namely critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication skills. The concept of 21st century learning, in its development, provides global challenges to the current generation that is developing and this needs to be considered. However, those 21st century skills have not been fully implemented in the learning process, especially in the senior high schools in Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the 21st Century Skills of Class XII MIPA Students in Biology Learning at Adabiah Padang Private High School. This type of research is descriptive research. The population was all class XII MIPA students at Adabiah Padang Private High School totaling 162 students. The sample taken was 40 students using random sampling technique. The instrument used in collecting data in this study was a test in the form of multiple-choice objectives totaling 17 questions to assess critical thinking skills and observation sheets for creativity, collaboration and communication. The questions used in this study were questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the value of 21st century skills of class XII MIPA students at Adabiah Padang Private High School was 69.57 with high criteria. In detail, students' 21st century skills in critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration and communication were respectively 73.21; 65.10; 69.64 and 70.31 with high criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' 21st Century skills in biology learning at Adabiah Padang Private High School with high criteria.

Abstract

n the biology learning process, teachers have used various media and teaching materials such as printed books and student worksheets, supported by teaching media in the form of PowerPoint presentations. The books provided by the school library do not match the number of students, so students cannot take books home to study at home. This research aims to produce a video-based E-Module with material on environmental changes in Phase E that is valid and practical for senior high school Phase E students. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) research using a 4D model which consists of four stages, namely the definition stage, planning stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. This research was carried out to the stage of developing validation tests and practicality tests with descriptive quantitative data analysis and validation tests carried out by 1 Biology teacher, 1 material expert lecturer, 1 media expert, and 1 strategy lecturer. The practicality test will be carried out by 1 biology teacher and 30 students in Phase E senior high school. The research results showed that the validation value carried out by the validator on the e-module was very valid (90.8%), with the practicality test carried out by the Biology teacher on the e-module developed being very practical (91.6%) and by 30 people. Phase E students are very practical (84.3%). From the results of validation tests and practicality tests, it was concluded that the video-based e-module on environmental change material in Phase E senior high school was valid and practical.
