Abstract

This study attempted to determine the revenues of brown sugar and tapo sugar and to investigate the difference between these two revenues. A census sampling method for sugar producers was done, collected 30 respondents  i.e 15 respondents for brown sugar producers and others 15 for Tapo Sugar.  The hypothesis was that the revenue obtained from brown sugar was lesser than tapo sugar. The result showed that the average revenue from brown sugar is 498,449 IDR per month and Tapo is  2,437,639 IDR per month, t-test showed the t value is -6.982 with critical t value 2.048 which indicates that t value > critical t value, means there is a significant difference between the revenue of brown sugar with tapo Sugar in the Ambesia village, district Tomini Moutong Parigi region.

Abstract

Industri Raja Bawang merupakan salah satu industri yang memproduksi abon ikan, dimana abon ikan ini banyak diminati oleh konsumen karena memiliki cita rasa yang khas,  namun volume produksi abon ikan masih dalam jumlah sedikit, sehingga tidak dapat memenuhi semua permintaan konsumen,  promosi yang dilakukan belum efektif,  harga  yang ditawarkan kepada konsumen relatif mahal, dan pelayanan yang diberikan kurang memuaskan,  sehingga melihat masalah tersebut, peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi apa yang akan dikembangkan dalam rangka pengembangan usaha abon ikan melalui pendekatan  marketing mix.  Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive), dengan  jumlah responden sebanyak 5 orang terdiri dari 1 pimpinan perusahaan, 3 konsumen yang berbelanja abon ikan, dan 1 dari Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu Analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi pengembangan usaha abon ikan melalui pendekatan marketing mix adalah menggunakan strategi SO (Strength – Opportunity),  yaitu mempertahankan kualitas produk, memanfaatkan hubungan kerjasama dan dukungan pemerintah, memperluas daerah distribusi dengan membuka jaringan distribusi diluar daerah, memanfaatkan reputasi merk pada pasar, dan menciptakan pengembangan produk.

Abstract

Agricultural development in Central Sulawesi is directed to increase the production and income of farmers. One main stay commodity that can increase the income of farmers is a valley commodity onion Palu. The fried onion industry has enough potential to be developed, in addition to extending the use fulness of valley red onion Palu also able to increase household income. Research this aims for knowing magnitude income and profitability business that obtainable business fried onion CV. Agro Lestari City Palu. Determination locations research selected in deliberate (purposive), with consideration that fried onion this constitute false one center business with capacity production  fried onion the most in City Palu that is 57,600 kg per year. Respondents in this research that led the company and two employees. Data that in gather is data primary and data secondary. The analysis method is the analysis of revenue (  = TR - TC) and profitability analysis. The results showed the presence of additional capital of as big as  IDR. 100.000.000 with an interest rate of 18% per year, the business crown fried onions obtainan average value of 35.45% economic profitability, while the value of equity earnings yield an average value of 34.26%. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors that affect the demand of organic vegetables in the city of  Palu. The research conducted in the city of Palu in December 2016 to January 2017.  The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression, using the F test (simultaneous) and t test (Partial). The results showed that the factors that affect the demand of organic vegetables in the city of Palu simultaneously are all the income variable (X1), the price of organic vegetables (X2) and the price of substitution goods (X3) together effect significantly on the dependent variable ( Y).    As partially, the revenue (X1) tcalt. (10,391) > t table (1,699) and the price of organic vegetables (X2) tcalt. (2,477) > t table (1,699), it means that the variable income and the price of organic vegetables have a value of tcalt. > t table showing the two variables significantly influence the dependent variable (Y), while the price of the substitution (X3) tcalt. (0,728) < t table (1,699), it means thet the variable price of the substitution good has the value tcalt. < t table that shows does not significantly influence on the dependent variable (Y). Keywords: Demand, multiple linear regression, organic vegetable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify internal and external environment factors, formulating of marketing strategies using SWOT analysis. The study was conducted in "Mustika" Industry in Sungai Lambangan Street,  No. 15, West Palu district in the city of Palu in June - July 2016. Respondents were drawn in the study consisted of 5 persons namely 1 leader, 2 employees of the internal production,and 2 from the external consumer. The analysis was used the SWOT analysis.The results indicated the marketing strategy diagram SWOT of fried onions on "Mustika" industry is in quadrant I that is at the position of Strength- Opportunities (SO) strategy, it is utilizing of the marketing area with raw materials that are easily available so that it can maintain product quality and take advantage of government support, leveraging industry relationships with customers to improve certain customer with the long enough business experience so that with to take advantage of information and communication.  Keywords: Fried onions, Mustika,  SWOT Analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of economic order, reordering, the amount of safety stock, and the total cost ofsafety stock.Research conducted at Buah Pala St. No. 12 BoyaogeVillage, Tatanga subdistrict, Palu Central Sulawesi in April to May 2016.Respondents were drawn in the study consisted of  3 persons namely 1 leader, 1 employee production, and 1 parts warehousing.The analysis used is EOQ, safety stock, reordering, and total cost of raw materials.The results showed the number of purchasesfor EOQ economical soybeans raw material in Industry Tofu "Vivi" in January-December 2015 average of 23,235.05 kg, with a frequency of purchase once.Reordering performed an average of 5,629.68 kg.Safety stock should be available at 4,102 kg.Total average cost for stockis  Rp. 311,751.23. Keywords: Cost, EOQ, Stock.

Abstract

This research aims to know the feasibility of financial businesses organic fertilizer from waste cattle beef cattle on small and medium enterprises (SME) Komonitas Natural farmer Village Sidera Subdistrict Sigi Biromaru Sigi Regency based on criteria of Net Present Value (NPV) Net, B/C Ratio, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Peyback Period (PP) analysis and research Sensivitas. Location determined intentionally (Purposive) with the consideration that SME Produce Natural Komonitas is the only group of farmers who are making business manage organic fertilizer. The respondent's determination was done deliberately (Purposive) with the number of respondents as much as 3 people consisting of 1 Chairman, 1 Treasurer and 1 employee part production. Methods of analysis using financial feasibility analysis, with some indicators that were used i.e. Net Present Value (NPV), the Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net/B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback period (PP) analysis and Sensitivity calculation of  financial feasibility. Result of organic fertilizer on SME venture Komonitas Natural Farmers are financially viable to run based on the assessment criteria i.e. NPV, IRR, Net B/C and Payback Period, and sensitivity. Organic fertilizer venture acquire the value of NPV is IDR. 25.284.439 Net value, B/C of 3,48, value of 29.31% IRR is greater than the specified level of the discount rate, and PBP are before the project ends i.e. 2 years 9 months 8 days. The results of the sensitivity analysis also showed that organic fertilizers on SME venture Komonitas the Natural Farmer is still worth running and profit despite rising prices of raw materials amounting to 23 percent.
