Abstract

Control of a Pan-Tilt Mechanism (PTM) angle for the bomb disposal robot Morolipi-V2 using inertial sensor measurement unit, x-IMU, has been done. The PTM has to be able to be actively controlled both manually and automatically in order to correct the orientation of the moving Morolipi-V2 platform. The x-IMU detects the platform orientation and sends the result in order to automatically control the PTM. The orientation is calculated using the quaternion combined with Madwick and Mahony filter methods. The orientation data that consists of angles of roll (α), pitch (β), and yaw (γ) from the x-IMU are then being sent to the camera for controlling the PTM motion (pan & tilt angles) after calculating the reverse angle using position matrix method. Experiment results using Madwick and Mahony methods show that the x-IMU can be used to find the robot platform orientation. Acceleration data from accelerometer and flux from magnetometer produce noise with standard deviation of 0.015 g and 0.006 G, respectively. Maximum absolute errors caused by Madgwick and Mahony method with respect to Xaxis are 48.45º and 33.91º, respectively. The x-IMU implementation as inertia sensor to control the Pan-Tilt Mechanism shows a good result, which the probability of pan angle tends to be the same with yaw and tilt angle equal to the pitch angle, except a very small angle shift due to the influence of roll angle..

Abstract

Abstract

BACKGROUNDHigh-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) has been widely accepted as a predictor of future cardiovascular risk that reflects a microinflammatory state. Obesity linked to microinflammation increases the prevalence of metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases. This study aimed to determine the association between several obesity indices namely body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), body fat percentage (fat), and visceral fat (VF) with hsCRP in non-diabetic adults. METHODSThis was a cross-sectional study performed on 80 non-diabetic adults with ages ranging from 20-40 years. The obesity indices BMI, WC, body fat percentage, and VF were measured. We then measured the hsCRP levels using an immunoturbidimetric method. Simple and multiple linear regression tests were used to analyze the association between obesity indices and hsCRP levels. RESULTSMean of log BMI, log WC, and log VF was 1.41 ± 0.08 kg/m2, 1.93 ± 0.06 cm, and 0.95 ± 0.27 units, respectively. Simple linear regression tests showed that log BMI (â=3.506; p<0.001), log WC (â=3.672; p<0.001), log VF (â=0.833; p<0.001), and log systolic blood pressure (â=3.739; p=0.024) had a significant positive correlation with log hsCRP levels. Further multiple linear regression test showed that log BMI (â=3.772; Beta=0.674; p<0.001) had the greater effect on log hsCRP levels compared to other indices. CONCLUSIONS    BMI had a greater influence on hsCRP levels compared to other obesity indices in non-diabetic adults. Body mass index can be used as a better index in predicting hsCRP levels compared to other indices.

Abstract

In cases of pneumothorax in the chest tube, the presence of air in the pleural cavity that lasts more than 5 to 7 days can be suspected as a persistent air leak (PAL), especially if an increased amount of air is obtained accompanied by the appearance of bubbles in the water seal drainage (WSD) system. This is the most common complication after surgery (8–26%), although it can be primary spontaneous pneumothorax (PSP) (26%) or secondary spontaneous pneumothorax (SSP) (39%). One condition that often causes difficulties in PAL therapy is infection due to direct contact with the fistula. The presence of PAL is associated with higher morbidity and mortality, prolonged chest tube inserted, and longer hospitalization. Observations of air production in PAL are expected to occur spontaneously within 4 days, if the leak persists, pleurodesis is recommended. If it was possible, surgery is needed to close the leak. Bronchoscopy treatment is only recommended in special circumstances where surgery is contraindicated or the patient refuses the surgical procedure.

Abstract

Lung cancer is a major health concern in Indonesia due to its increasing prevalence, late-stage diagnosis, younger population, and high mortality. Addressing this issue requires nationwide implementation of comprehensive lung cancer control, which includes risk reduction and prevention strategies, focusing on tobacco control and air pollution mitigation. Screening with low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) and early detection in symptomatic patients, along with TB screening programs and all non-communicable diseases, is strongly recommended to enhance early case findings, treatment effectiveness, and overall patient outcomes. A multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach is important to ensure accurate diagnosis and comprehensive care. Moreover, the integration of palliative care at the early stages of advanced lung cancer is vital, focusing on symptom management and enhancing the quality of life for patients. While national guidelines are available for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, significant disparities in healthcare access remain across Indonesia. Thus, it is essential to improve universal health coverage and referral systems to guarantee equal access to lung cancer care for patients at all levels through advocacy and ease of access.

Abstract

School is an educational institution established by the government / private sector with age-appropriate levels. Every school has a business process, such as the admission process for new students, the teaching and learning process by students and teachers, the process of supporting facilities for educational processes, is the pattern of every set of business process architecture in the school. Each school needs standardization which is continuously improved to match the national school standard (SSN) that has been set by the government in Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005. Good school standardization can be seen from the growing patterns of business architecture with high complexity, in mark the number of students, integrated teaching curriculum, and complete infrastructure to support school activities. So in this study, conducting an analysis of the growth patterns of business architecture in schools in order to facilitate decision making and as a reference in the education process so that schools can be well standardized, by measuring the level of maturity of the capabilities of processes in the architectural pattern of school business processes using Capability Maturity Model (CMM), the result of this study is an analysis of the growth patterns of school business architecture with the maturity of business process patterns in accordance with national school standards, which can provide information as a support in business process activities in schools
