Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine ecotourism practice in Wae Rebo Village and to determine involvement of stakeholder such as local community, government, and investor. This research was conducted in Wae Rebo village with a survey method. Data was collected through observation and in-depth interviews to the informan. Speaker retrieval method is random with interviewing stackeholders such as adviser of LPBW (Lembaga Pelestarian Budaya Waerebo) all at once representation of young generation and owner of travel agent, representation of guide community, representation of souvenir seller community, representation of local community, representation of homestay owner, and representation of tourism departement as a section head of tourism destination development. The data were analyzed using the ecotourism concept according to Fennel (Arida, 2009) and World Conservation Union (WCU in Arida, 2009). These results indicate that ecotourism practices in Wae Rebo Village have happened agree with ecotourism concept and ecotourism principle. Local community have a big role in the management of that gets a lot of help from various travel agent in promoting Wae Rebo. Keywords: ecotourism, organizer, local community

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the form of local community participation in educational tourism implemented by Green School Bali, Abiansemal, Badung. The data collection methods that used were observation, in-depth interview, literature study and documentation. The data analysis techniques that used are qualitative data analysis. The form of local community participation in the implementation of Green School Bali educational tour is categorized in vertical participation because the role of local communities in this educational tour is located as a subordinate or worker status. This happens because the tour that held in Green School Bali is a non profit-based, the income obtained by the tour will be fully allocated to the scholarship students in Green School Bali. Abstract

Tourism trend and tourist motivation changes dynamically since the first time development of tourism. Mass tourism is one of tourism trend which grow Praccessibility, etc) and tour with a big group. Ecotourism appears in the early of 1990, ecotourism can be defined as a responsibility journey to a natural place. The aim is to make empowerement in the local society, conservancy, and the preservation of local society’s culture. Ecotourism grows fastly because this trend is different from conventional tourism which dominates. Rendu Tutubadha village locates in Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province has a big potential of ecotourism. Ecotourism potentials in this village consists of natural hot spring of Ae Petu Meze, Lambo Mountain, traditional village and etu ritual. Develop these ecotourism potentials needs readiness of Rendu Tutubadha’s society so the development will hold by the ecotourism principals and give positive effect to the society in eceonomis and other aspect. This research using primary and secondary data, quantitative and qualitative data is also used in this research. Data collecting method is interview, literature study, and observation. Qualitative descriptive used to presents the research result. This research finds some ecotourism potenstials in Rendu Tutubadha village. The ecotourism potential is nature and culture potential. The nature potential is like natural hot spring of Ae Petu Meze and Lambo Mountain, besides of that there are two culture potentials like traditional village of Rendu Tutubadha and Etu ritual. This research also finds that Rendu Tutubadha’s society readiness is enough to develop ecotourism, it can be seen in the society’s traditional life, although there are some aspects of ecotourism needs to fixed Keyword: ecotourism potential, ecotourism, society readiness

Abstract

This article seeks to find a sustainable model of handling refugees based on the kind of social solidarity that builds between refugees and tourism entrepreneurs amid the disaster. The research took place in Kerta Tourism Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali with the consideration of the unique phenomenon of productive and professional working relationship between the two actors. This fact is seen as able to deconstruct the stereotype of refugees as a group that only needs pity, resulting in a "santa claus" model of assistance. The implementation of research uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative approach to describe and explain phenomena or relationships between phenomena that are systematically reviewed, factual and accurate. The results showed the following findings: (i) economic settings between refugees and entrepreneurs are framed in the context of semi-productive relations; (ii) social settings between refugees and entrepreneurs are built on mechanical solidarity; and (iii) cultural settings between refugees and entrepreneurs are framed in the context of a volatile patron-client relationship, as well as (iv) the discovery of formulations in the form of participatory models of tourism stakeholders in the context of catastrophic eruptions.Keywords: Tourism Entrepreneurs, Refugees, Disaster Eruptions, Collaborative Models

Abstract

Jatiluwih tourist attraction have a big opportunity to be an ecotourism object. Ecotourism can mix both between natural and cultural conservation with local participation. So important to do a research on the potential of ecotourism in the village and to the principle of ecotourism. Data colectiom technique by observation, interviews and study literature. Technique the determination of informants by purposive sampling. Technique data analysis in this research by Miles and Huberman models. Jatiluwih Village have natural and cultural potential. Based on nine ecotourism principle and criteria, Jatiluwih Village have met six ecotourism principle and criteria. Abstract

The Mangrove Batu lumbang as conservation areas where live so many variety of flora and also has so beautiful view. Although the mangrove has not yet defined it as a tourist attraction, there are few tourist visitors. Assets or potential have been particularly supportive to develop as alternative tourism but there are some issues about garbage and waste. Voluntourism has become one of the best types of alternative tourism to develop. Voluntourism or volunteer tourism is a form of tourism where tourists use leisure time as volunteers and donators on conservation projects in an attraction. The purpose of this study is to identify the chances of voluntourism development in the mangrove forest Batu Lumbang based communities to help the ecosystem and grow the communities also give a new experience for tourist. The study used qualitative descriptive methods. The result of this study is the mangrove forest Batu Lumbang fillup some of the criteria of voluntourism activity. The criteria of the study based on the criteria of the global tourism business industries. The limits of this research are the time to finding data due to a covid-19 outbreak. Abstract

Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden has experienced two times crisis caused by natural factors such as flash floods and landslides. In the last two years there have been recorded two similar natural disasters on Wednesday, December 21st 2016 and Thursday, February 9th 2017. This study aims to find out how the effort to implement the management of tourism crisis after natural disasters at Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden. This research is important because the state of the crisis can happen anytime, and often happens suddenly. In the absence of proper handling, the sustainability of tourism can be threatened. The research methodology used in this research is qualitative research, with in-depth interview technique and literature study. The concepts are used in this research of implementation effort, crisis management and natural disaster to analize the problems. Data are explained by using table and description to explaining the steps that must exist. Moreover, wether Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden implement tourism crisis management. The results of study show that the flow of the crisis that occurs through four stages, Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden tends to use traditional management approach, and the results show that Eka Karya Bali Botanical Gardens has not been maximized the implementation of tourism crisis management, especially in the case of natural disasters. Abstract

Bindu Village is located at Badung district, which has potency to develop the wellness tourism. Development wellness tourism at Bindu village involves the elite people. The purpose of this study was to identify tourist attractions and the role of elite people in developing wellness tourism at Bindu village. Data collection techniques conducted in this study are observation techniques, interview techniques and documentary techniques. The determination technique of informant uses the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis technique. The results of the discussion that can be concluded is wellness tourism activities by doing healer activities, purification and therapy. Bindu Village has tourism potency such as the natural potential, the cultural potential and the artificial potential. The role of elite people in the development of wellness tourism in Bindu village is carried out by developing those potencies, building tourism facilities and promotions. Abstract

Nusa Dua tourism area shaded by PT. Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has been known as a center of international tourism area that reflects the characteristics of international standards for all facilities built. ITDC has an integrated wastewater treatment system called "Lagoon", which accommodates all waste from tourism and hotel activities in Nusa Dua Tourism Area to be reused. It is interesting to investigate because in the future this research can be a study material in waste water management produced by tourism accommodation, so that environmental pollution generated by wastewater disposal from tourism activities can be minimized. The research method used in this research is qualitative data analysis technique to know how waste water management of hotel in ITDC. Data source, from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation methods, interviews, documentation and research instruments in the form of interview guidelines. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling. The results obtained are the existing condition of hotel wastewater treatment in Lagoon and its utilization is seen from the wastewater treatment system, irrigation water production system, the amount of clean water and waste generated, the efficiency of wastewater treatment and the utilization produced by wastewater treatment. Abstract

Various tourist destinations based culture can be found in Bali. One of them is Manuaba villages in Tegalalang Gianyar Regenc. Manuaba is one of the villages which have already started to be influenced by tourism. The majority of the livelihoods of Indigenous Village Manuaba was agriculture. Along with the influx of tourism there is a change in the way the community point of view, investors are starting to get in and the farmers start to sell their land to the investors. Most of the investors build an acomodation on the agricultural land.This research used qualitative methods with of observation techniques, interview techniques and the study of documents. Sample techniques used purposive sampling for determinate informants. Based of the research results that the public began to feel the impact of the changes of the land function. Communities creating a perarem to limit the new building in the agricultural land. There are some suggestions that are proposed to the Government the more sensitive areas to monitor the development of the tourism in Bali.
