Abstract

Sumber daya manusia memiliki kontribusi besar dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Kepuasan kerja yang tinggi merupakan dampak dari usaha sumber daya manusia. Komitmen organisasi yang tepat, dan di dukung dengan pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan terhadap sumber daya manusia mampu memberikan tingkat kepuasan kerja yang baik bagi suatu organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi, pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Kantor Badan Pengelola Perbatasan Kepulauan Sangihe. Metode penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan tehnik analisis data regresi linier berganda dan uji asumsi klasik. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sama yaitu 56 responden. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa komitmen organisasi, pengembangan karir, dan pemberdayaan secara simultan dan parsial  berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Sebaiknya komitmen organisasi yang didukung peran pimpinan Badan Pengelola Perbatasan Kepulauan Sangihe lebih di perkuat agar pegawai memiliki tingkat kesadaran tinggi untuk mencapai potensi dan kinerja kerja lebih baik. Pegawai Kantor Badan Pengelola Perbatasan Kepulauan Sangihe juga perlu meningkatkan kesadaran dalam menaati dan mematuhi setiap peraturan yang ada. Kata kunci: rasio likuiditas, jumlah kredit, profitabilitas

Abstract

Perusahaan didirikan untuk mencapai tujuan utama yang telah disepakati, maka perusahaan perlu mempunyai karyawan yang kinerjanya baik. Untuk menciptakan kinerja yang baik, perlu adanya Disiplin Kerja, motivasi kerja dan pemberian kompensasi yang tepat. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja, motivasi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Bank Sulut Cabang Calaca. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survey dan dilaksanakan pada 59 karyawan. Hasil pengembalian kuesioner dari perusahaan berjumlah 47 kuesioner, jadi data yang diolah berjumlah 47 kuesioner. Teknik sampling yang dipakai metode Sampling Jenuh, dan teknik pengujian data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F serta uji koefisien korelasi dan determinasi. Data yang terkumpul diuji validitas dan diuji reliabilitas dengan koefisien alpha (Alpha Cronbach), dimana hasilnya seluruh data dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan disiplin kerja, motivasi, dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Manajemen perusahaan sebaiknya lebih meningkatkan motivasi dan kompensasi, sehingga akan tercipta disiplin kerja yang baik untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci: disiplin kerja, motivasi, kompensasi, kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Bank is an institution that serves as a financial intermediary between the parties who have funds with those who need funds as well as an institution that serves smooth traffic flow payments. The objectives of this research are mostly to analyze the influence of CAMEL model effect simultaneously on earnings and to identify the most significant factor of CAMEL model partially on earnings in go public banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2010 periods. Meanwhile, types of the research that used in this paper are causal-comparative study and Multiple Linear Regression. Data used in this study is a secondary data that is obtained from the journal of research affiliated with CAMEL ratio such as: Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Asset Quality (AQ), Operating Expense to Operating Income (OEOI), Loan to Deposit Raito (LDR) and the financial statements data from 15 banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2010. Hypothesis test shows that there are an influence simultaneously and partially of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Assets Quality, Operating Expense to Operating Income (OEOI), and Loan to Deposit Raito (LDR) on profitability. However, both of every bank managers and the researcher need to recover more indicators to clearly perceive an accurate level of approaches in terms of measuring the bank’s healthy. Abstract

Marketers nowdays focus on product attributes to satisfy the consumer needs and wants, most of them able to deliver the product value in consumer mind and success in triggering purchase decision, but unfortunately some marketers face the problem that consumer may perceived some risk on their product and can lead to purchase postponement by the consumer. The questions to be adressed in this research are,  do consumers perceived risk exist on private label brand product offered by Hypermart with Value Plus trademark and do the perceived risk influence purchase postponement. The objectives of this research are to analyze the perceived risk factor in influencing purchase postponement of Hypermart private label brand product in Manado and identify which type of perveived risk that have the most significant effect on purchase postponement. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis choosen as the tool to reveal the associational of two or more variable in this research. From the examination of 100 respondents the research shows Perceived Risk factor which are Functional Risk, Physical Risk, and Financial Risk has significant effect on purchase postponement of Hypermart private label brand product. Therefore, Hypermart should be considering a strategy to minimize the risk perceived by consumer in order to trigger consumer not to postpone their purchase decision. Abstract

The important aspect in economics that has to be considered by company when reached achivement in expending their business in Global competition is corporate social responsibility or CSR, many manufactured companies listed on Indonesia stock exchange who have been taken advantages from public environment. This study tries to prove the importance of CSR disclosure by using four variables: firm size, profitability, leverage and board size that have been tested in previous researches which predicted by author will give positive result on CSR disclosure. Research method that had been used for this research is associateed with multiple linear regression analysis technique. The sample in this study is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year 2005 to 2008, published in the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) 2009-2012 and data collection method obtained through the website owned by BEI, ie www.idx.co.id, BEI in Mega Mas Manado and in Faculty of Economics, Sam Ratulangi University and Indonesian Capital Market directory (ICMD). The result of this research shows positive impact of firm size and board of commisioner size and negative impact of profitabilty and leverage on CSR disclosure partialy. Therefore, company should consider about the CSR Disclosure since it is the most crucial part of the company and how the company should revealed their self to the public. Abstract

Brand is not just a brand for a product or service on the market. Brand makes consumers buy and use the brand. To introduce a product publicly the market, company should create a good reputation for brand. Research objectives are to analyze the influence of brand trust on brand loyalty and to analyze the influence of brand affect on brand loyalty. This research implement quantitative analyze by using questionnaires and used Multiple Regression analyze. The population observed is people in Manado specially woman who use Pond’s skin care with sample as many as 100 respondents. Result and conclusion show that brand trust and brand affect have significant effect on brand loyalty. Brand trust has positive and significant impact on Brand Loyalty on Pond's beauty products. Brand Affect has positive and significant impact on Brand Loyalty on Pond's beauty products. However, the analysis result has proof to show the impact of brand trust and brand affect on brand loyalty. Keywords: brand trust, brand affect, brand loyalty

Abstract

Increasingly tight competitive world where companies are competing to, attract         the attention of buyers of product is needed to make the product they produced were sold out. Not easily granted, but they should to create new ideas of each of their companies. So the form of product packaging determines the marketing strategy of a variety of companies. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Packaging function (Protective, promoting, storage and environmental friendly) on consumer’s pereption of product quality both partially and simultaneously. The population observed is people who have purchased Victoria’s Secret body mist with sample size as many as 100 respondents. The data are analyzed using several statistical techniques. The method used in this research is multiple regressions. The Conclusion is Packaging Function which are Protective, Promote, Storage, and Environmental Friendly are influencing on Consumer’s Perception of product Victoria’s Secret Body Mist both simultaneously and partially. This study suggests to the management of company that produce Victoria’s Secret Body Mist to see about Protecting, Promote, Storage, and Environmental Friendly that will ultimately influence on Consumer’s Perception of Product Quality. Abstract

The entrepreneurial management requires different management from the existing ones. But like the existing it requires systematic, organized, purposeful management. And while the ground rules are the same for every entrepreneurial organization, the existing business, the public-service institution, and the new venture present different challenges, have different problems, and have to guard against different degenerative tendencies. The purpose of this research is to analyze the practice of Entrepreneurship Management and Innovation to help Entrepreneur reach their business goal. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method, the analysis is a descriptive process, through literature study that collects information and classifying the data and then describing the variables. Results and conclusions are (1) that thenew functions of management that tap into the potential of all employees are: Energize, Empower, Support, and Communicate; (2) Entrepreneurial management requires policies and practices in four major areas, and (3) When innovation is perceived by the organization, this requires specific policies. It is recommended that students to have knowledge and ability, know how to manage people and be creative to create the organization or their job, and be innovative, make a different or very different. Abstract

PT. Elnusa Tbk., is a company in Indonesia which is running their business in oil and gas industry. Financial performance analysis is important to set company plans and decision in order to improve their profitability. The purpose of this research is to measure the efficiency of working capital to improve the profitability of PT. Elnusa Tbk., By analyze the financial statement of PT. Elnusa Tbk., in period year 2008-2012. This research use qualitative research with descriptive method by using ratio analysis to measure efficiency level of working capital (Working capital turnover, Inventory turnover) and profit ratio (GPM, NPM, ROI, and ROE). The population of this research is all financial statement of PT. Elnusa Tbk., from year 2008-2012. The sample of this research is PT. Elnusa Tbk., audited financial statement from 2008-2012. Analysis results show that the company working capital performance is good, but not too efficient because it’s not supported simultaneously with the growth of net profit margin, return on investment, and return on equity that continues to decline for some year. PT. Elnusa Tbk., must pay attention closely to their financial management, because it’s important to improve the performance and also raising their profitability. The management has to more better in control of their production budget, limiting production only at peak production that still making profit.   Keywords: efficiency of working capital, profitability

Abstract

In the modern society brand not only represent the product or company but also have a strong association with perceived quality, consumers’ life style, consumer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to create a deeper consideration of what the influence of brand loyalty, brand awareness, and perceived quality can have, when people go for purchasing, choose the products between different brands, especially private vehicle like motorcycle. This study also tries to explore the relation between brands loyalty, brand awareness, and perceived quality and the consumer decision making process to buying motorcycle in Manado. The research method associate with multiple linear regression analysis technique with 100 respondents as sample of the research taken from people in Manado as consumers of motorcycle. From the study it is revealed that when consumer choose to purchasing one of some brand motorcycle, it's because they are influenced of brand loyalty, brand awareness and perceived quality. And this study also reveals that branded motorcycle have a great place in consumer mind, when customers go for purchasing a motorcycle they prefer to purchase a well know branded motorcycle.
