Abstract

Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 membuat perubahan dunia pendidikan. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan tatap muka saat ini menjadi kegiatan online. Materi pembelajaran kegiatan praktikumnya yang sering terkadang menjadi kendala. Tujuan peneliti ini ingin melihat pengaruh polysynchronous learning berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar praktikum di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang. Jenis penelitian ini Quasy Eksperimen, pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, dan desain penelitian menggunakan non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group desain. Populasi semua siswa SMP ‘Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang, sampel dua kelas pada siswa kelas 2. Teknik pengumpulan data pretest dan postest. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan statistik One-way Anacova. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kegiatan proses pembelajaran polysynchronous learning berbasis problem based learning pada siswa kelas 7A dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar praktikum siswa.

Abstract

The Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) has become promising for improving school progress. However, there has not been much assistance in the community of teacher learning and collaboration that should lead to new approaches to increase classroom learning quality. This study aimed to explain how the process of assessing and the implementation LSLC at SMA Negeri 4 Malang. This qualitative descriptive study uses teachers and lecturers as research subjects with an unspecified amount in their participation. The data was obtained by using a monitoring checklist, interview, and documentation of the implementation lesson study. The results showed that the application of LSLC was running well, but at the 'Do' phase, there were still observers who worked not following their assignment procedures, and the involvement of teachers in LSLC activities even less. Therefore, it is suggested to implement LSLC which improve collegial participation of teachers and lecturers.

Abstract

Era revolusi industri 4.0 mendorong berkembangnya pengetahuan menjadi lebih pesat. Perkembangan pengetahuan akan berdampak pula pada dunia pendidikan. Guru adalah orang terdepan di pendidikan karena guru adalah orang yang berinteraksi langsung menanamkan kompetensi pada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara pada empat guru di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang menunjukkan bahwa guru memang sering melakukan penelitian- penelitian, tetapi guru mengalami beberapa kendala ketika hasil penelitian tersebut diubah menjadi artikel dan makalah. Kendala guru salah satunya adalah guru kesulitan mengikuti gaya penulisan setiap jurnal yang memiliki gaya penulisan artikel yang berbeda-beda. Guru di sekolah juga perlu banyak motivasi dan dorongan untuk mengikuti kegiatan berupa lomba-lomba karya ilmiah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepad a guru untuk mendampingi guru dalam membuat karya ilmiah dan publikasi ilmiah. Metode yang dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut adalah dengan dilakukan diskusi, sosialisasi, praktek, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang didapat adalah kegiatan pendampingan kompetensi penulisan karya ilmiah guru menjadi sebuah upaya untuk guru dalam memberikan penguatan pada prestasi. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan dihasilkannya artikel dan makalah Bapak Ibu Guru dari hasil pendampingan ini. Kedepannya mungkin perlu dilakukan pendampingan kompetensi penulisan karya ilmiah untuk siswa. Mentoring Competency in Writing Teacher Scientific Work as an Effort to Strengthen Teacher Achievement The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 encourages the development of knowledge to be more rapid. The development of knowledge will also have an impact on the world of education. The teacher is the foremost person in education because the teacher is the person who interacts directly, instilling competence in students. The results of observations and interviews with four teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Malang Junior High School show that teachers often do research but experience some problems when the research results are converted into articles and papers. One of the teacher's obstacles is that the teacher has difficulty following the writing style of each journal which has a different style of writing articles. Teachers in schools also need a lot of motivation and encouragement to take part in activities in the form of scientific work competitions. Based on this, it is necessary to carry out community service activities to assist teachers in making scientific works and publications. The method used in achieving these goals is through discussion, socialization, practice, and evaluation. The results obtained are the activities of mentoring the competence of writing teacher scientific papers in an effort for teachers to reinforce achievement. This is proven by the production of articles and papers by Mr. Guru from the results of this mentoring. In the future, it may be necessary to assist in writing scientific papers for students.

Abstract

The paper presents the surface treatment of fly ashes using acid and alkali solution on the tensile strength of the fly ash/unsaturated polyester (UP) composites. Sulfuric acid (H2SO4), hydrofluoric acid (HF) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution with concentration of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% (by weight) were used for surface treatment of fly ashes. Generally, the tensile strength of the treated fly-ash/UP composites shows a significant increase compared to the untreated fly ash. Of all surface treatments studied, the optimum tensile strength was obtained at a concentration of 10%. At this concentration, at a fly ash content of 30% (weight), the surface treatment using NaOH gave the highest tensile strength, approximately 18.69 MPa, or increased about 91% compared to the untreated fly ash. The morphology of fracture surfaces were evaluated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The fracture surfaces of the treated fly ash composite were rougher than that of the untreated fly ash indicating the improvement of the fly ashes-UP interaction.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di era revolusi industri 4.0 memberikan tantangan kepada siswa agar mampu menghadapi berbagai macam situasi. Siswa sebagai generasi muda yang akan hidup di era tersebut harus memiliki motivasi belajar dan rasa tanggung jawab  yang tinggi. Motivasi siswa akan muncul ketika mereka dihadapkan pada tugas proyek yang harus diselesaikan dalam waktu tertentu, sama halnya dengan rasa tanggung jawab mereka. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan rasa tanggung jawab  siswa. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan 34 siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) sebagai subjek penelitian. Motivasi dan rasa tanggung jawab siswa diukur dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan motivasi dan rasa tanggung jawab  siswa setelah implementasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Students’ motivation and responsibility in project-based learning, a classroom action research AbstractTechnological developments in the industrial revolution era 4.0 provide a challenge for students to be able to face a variety of situations. Student, as gold generation, must have the motivation to learn and a high sense of responsibility. Motivation of students will emerge when they are faced with project tasks that must be completed in a certain time, as well as their sense of responsibility. Therefore this study aims to describe how project-based learning can improve students' motivation and sense of responsibility. This qualitative descriptive study uses 34 senior high school students as the research subjects. Motivation and students' responsibility is measured using an observation sheet and questionnaire. The results showed that there was an improvement in students' motivation and sense of responsibility after the implementation of project-based learning.

Abstract

Nelayan Desa Kuranji setiap hari berkegiatan menangkap ikan di Selat Lombok. Sampan (perahu kecil) berbahan komposit sandwich yang telah dipakai selama 6 tahun telah rusak pada beberapa bagian dan mengalami penurunan fungsinya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi nelayan diselesaiakan dengan memberdayakan mereka. Perbaikan perahu dilatihkan untuk memecahkan masalah pada mitra agar mitra mempunyai ketrampilan dalam perbaikan perahu dengan lambung berbahan komposit sandwich, sehingga mereka tidak perlu mengeluarkan biaya perbaikan yang lebih. Persiapan yang dilakukan adalah menyiapkan materi kegiatan, menyiapkan alat dan bahan. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan merupakan tahap yang paling menentukan yang terdiri dari perbaikan perahu komposit sandwich oleh mitra. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan terhadap setiap kegiatan, keseriusan dan ketrampilan mitra dalam memperbaiki perahu diamati. Mitra mampu melakukan perbaikan kerusakan perahu berbahan komposit sandwich secara mandiri, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa mitra telah memiliki pengetahuan praktik yang baik setelah dilatih oleh tim pengabdian.

Abstract

Salah satu cara pemanfaatan sampah biomassa adalah dengan mengolahnya menjadi briket sampah biomassa. Karena itulah dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini tim pelaksana pengabdian melakukan diseminasi alat pencacah sampah organic sekaligus pembimbingan pembuatan briket sampah biomassa di depan kelompok tani di Lingkungan Batu Ringgit Selatan, Kelurahan Tanjung Karang, Kecamatan Sekabela, Kotamadya Mataram. Saat ini kelompok tani tersebut belum memanfaatkan sampah biomassa yang tersedia secara melimpah disekitar mereka. Pelaksanaan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi pengadaan alat pencacah sampah organik, pembimbingan pembuatan briket sampah organik, dan produksi briket. Hasil pembuatan briket sampah biomassa ini bisa ditawarkan kepada konsumen skala rumah tangga dan industri. Mesin pencacah sampah organik dibuat memiliki inovasi produk karena starter tidak menggunakan handle tali melainkan switch on off elektrik selain itu input material biomassa dilengkapi pisau sehingga serat biomassa tidak melilit di poros saat mesin beroperasi.

Abstract

Impact of the composite sandwich made of materials that become defect, how defects after impact  in material need to be examined .Is that defected composites and wich still has the strength toremain in use?, then the bending after impact strength testing must be done to answer these questions.Composite sandwich with bamboo fiber-fiber glass reinforcement and with a core of 25mm rigid polyurethane foam sheet was produced. Composite sandwich made with two composite sandwich laminate as skinflanking the core. Laminated composite sandwich in this study varied number of layers of reinforcing fibers and type of fiber. Specimens subjected to drop weight impact with varying energy then defect researched and bending  after impact strengthtested. Defects formed on the composite experiencing a drop weight impact loads are: delamination, basin and through hole. The more layers of reinforcing fibers in the composite skin causing moreshallowbasinformed by theresidualimpact. The greater the impact energy causes greater depth of residual basin. Composite sandwich still has the bending strength after impact. Residual bending strength decreases with increasing impact energy imposed on the composite.

Abstract

This research to investigate the effect of Pomacea Canalikulata Lamarck powder addition in the process of carburization box to physical (microstructure) and mechanical properties (hardness test) of AISI 1018 after heat treatment. In this research used a material of low carbon steel cylinder (AISI 1018). The process of making the specimen is done with to cut into several pieces, cutting done to ease in placing the specimen in the carburizing box, then wood charcoal powder and shell powder were weighed in accordance with the desired composition by mixing powder of 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt%. The specimen was done heat treatment at a temperature of 9500C with the holding time at 2, 4 and 6 hours. Then, the specimen was done the Vickers hardness test, microstructure and composition test. From this research it can be concluded that the highest hardness value was obtained at 15 wt% addition of shell powder it was 262.26 kg/mm2 and the initial material hardness value was 144.08 kg/mm2. From microstructure observation and composition test show that it subjected surface hardening because carbon diffusion into specimen.

Abstract

Traditional markets are central to community economic activities and play a significant role in the distribution of local food products. Therefore, markets reflect the diversity of food crop commodities available in a region. This diversity holds vital importance in supporting human health balance. The more diverse the plant species available in a region, the greater the variety of nutrients that can be obtained, such as minerals, vitamins, fiber, and other essential nutrients. Furthermore, the diversity of food crops is also valuable from cultural and environmental conservation perspectives. This study aims to identify and document the diversity of food crops traded in Grogol Market and Telukan Market, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observations and semi-structured interviews using an ethnobotanical with 55 respondents who are traders in both markets. The data were then classified based on family, edible plant parts, and commodity categories. The study's findings revealed that 124 species or varieties of plants from 39 families are traded in Grogol Market and Telukan Market. The Zingiberaceae family has the highest number of species found in both markets. Vegetables are the largest commodity group traded, followed by fruits, spices, and staple foods. The parts of plants traded include fruits, leaves, tubers, seeds, rhizomes, stems, and flowers. Based on the results, the diversity of food crops traded in Grogol Market and Telukan Market is relatively high, reflecting local potential that supports community health, cultural heritage, and environmental sustainability.
