Abstract

The problem in the study lies in the lack of student activity and low curiosity of students which also affects student learning outcomes in Civics content with Theme 7 Beautiful Diversity in My Country. One of the efforts to overcome these problems is to use a combination of Problem Based Learning, Somatis Auditori Visual Intelektual, Think Talk Write learning models. The purpose of this study was to describe the activities of educators and analyze the increase in learner activities, student curiosity and student learning outcomes. This research used Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was conducted in 3 meetings. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of Prince 1 Banjarmasin, totaling 20 students in semester II of the 2023/2024 school year. Data were analyzed qualitatively through observations, namely educator activities, learner activities, curiosity, then quantitative data were analyzed for student learning outcomes through written tests in groups and individuals. The data was analyzed with descriptive techniques and described in the form of tables and graphs. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's activities were carried out "Very Well" with a percentage of 100% implementation of the steps. Student activity at meeting I reached 35% with the criteria "Quite Active" increased at meeting III to 95% with the criteria "Very Active". The character of curiosity at meeting I reached 45% with the criteria "Moderately High" and increased at meeting III to 90% with the criteria "Very High" For student cognitive learning outcomes at meeting I with 55% classical completeness increased at meeting III with 100% classical completeness. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of a combination of PROVIT models can improve the quality of educator activities, student activities, reading and student learning outcomes. The suggestions for principals, teachers and other researchers are that this research can be used as a reference in using learning models that can improve students' activities, curiosity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the family plays a role in influencing student creativity. Creativity is critical to a child's intellectual and emotional development, and can also impact academic success and social adjustment. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method involving various families with different socio-economic backgrounds. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with parents and teachers as well as observing student activities at home. The findings of this research indicate that support from the family is crucial in facilitating student creativity, including through providing emotional attention, providing educational resources, and creating an environment that supports the exploration of ideas. Apart from that, open education and providing opportunities to try new things have also been proven to contribute to the development of children's creativity. It is hoped that this research can provide understanding for parents, educators and other interested parties to pay more attention to the role of the family in encouraging the growth and development of students' creativity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kemampuan memori luar biasa yang ditunjukkan oleh 18 dari 28 siswa kelas 2 SDN Melayu 6 Banjarmasin. Mereka mampu menghafal nama negara, warna dan simbol bendera dengan akurasi tinggi. Fenomena ini menarik karena jarang ditemukan pada anak seusianya yang biasanya masih mempelajari keterampilan dasar seperti membaca dan menulis. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor pendukung kemampuan memori siswa, seperti peran lingkungan belajar, strategi pengajaran, dan dukungan keluarga. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan siswa dan guru. Analisis tematik mengidentifikasi pola dan tema yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan memori. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa metode pengajaran interaktif seperti media visual dan permainan edukatif sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Namun tantangan seperti kurangnya stimulasi kognitif di rumah dan terbatasnya fasilitas sekolah masih menjadi kendala.
