Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity and learning outcomes of students in Natural Sciences (Science) learning. This is because learning is less interesting and meaningful, learning is still teacher-centered, and students are less accustomed to group learning. Efforts to overcome these problems are by applying the learning model Model Problem Based Learning (PBL), Studend Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Team Games Tournament (TGT) in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activity, analyze the increase in student activity, and learning outcomes. Qualitative and quantitative approaches. PTK is held in 3 meetings, class V of SDN Sungai Gampa Asahi Rantau Badauh, 20 students in 2022/2023. Qualitative data analysis techniques observation sheets teacher activities, and student activities while quantitative data measure learning outcomes. The results showed that teacher activity got 93%. Student activity gets 100%. Cognitive learning outcomes get 100%, affective get 100% and psychomotor get 100%. Based on the results of the study, the Problem Based Learning (PBL), Studend Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Team Games Tournament (TGT) models were concluded. can improve and learning outcomes. It is recommended that this model be used as an alternative to improve activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low activity and learning outcomes in class III students at UPTD SDN 1 Banyu Irang because the learning provided was only one-way, so students were less interested in the learning process and rarely expressed opinions. This study has the intent to describe teacher activities, student activities and analyze student learning outcomes in class III PPPKn content UPTD SDN 1 Banyu Irang. The type of research used was classroom action research (PTK) which was conducted in 4 meetings, this research was conducted in class III UPTD SDN 1 Banyu Irang consisting of 11 students. The type of data presented is data on teacher activity, student activity and student learning outcomes on PPPKn content obtained from observations, as well as data on student learning outcomes obtained from test results. The benchmark for research success is that 80% of students obtain or exceed the specified KKM, namely ≥70. Based on the data findings and results of this study, it can be concluded that teaching and learning activities by applying the PELITA (Problem Based Learning, Group Investigation, and Talking Stick) learning model are able to provide improvements to student learning activities and outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the activities of educators and students and to analyze learning outcomes in the content of Citizenship Education. Efforts to increase activity and learning outcomes are through the Problem Based Learning, Think Pair Share, and Make A Match models or abbreviated as the PRIMA model. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at Tanjung Pagar 3 Elementary School, totaling 35 students consisting of 24 male students and 11 female students. The results of this study indicate that the activity of educators at meeting 1 obtained a value of 57.50% with the criteria "Good enough", increased at meeting 4 to obtain a value of 100% with the criteria "Very Good". Student activity at meeting 1 reached 48.57% with the "Less Active" criteria increased at meeting 4 to 100% with the "Very Active" criteria. The completeness of the cognitive aspects of students' learning outcomes at meeting 1 obtained 62.85% classical completeness and at meeting 4 reached 100%. At meeting 1 classical completeness on the affective aspect 57.14% and psychomotor aspects 62.85%, increased at meeting 4 on the affective aspect obtaining 100% and psychomotor aspects obtaining 94.25%.

Abstract

Abstrak Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan inovasi baru dalam sistem Pendidikan Indonesia yang memberikan fleksibilitas kepada sekolah dan guru untuk menciptakan karakter yang unggul bagi siswa. Di sekolah dasar pembentukan karakter pada Kurikulum Merdeka yang disebut dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila diharapkan dapat memberikan nilai karakter Pancasila yang unggul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tantangan dan peluang bagi guru dalam membentuk karakter profil pelajar Pancasila yang unggul pada siswa kelas 6 di SDN Kuin Cerucuk 4. Melalui metode analisis data berupa observasi dan wawancara pada guru, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam membentuk karakter profil pelajar Pancasila pada siswa, guru memiliki tantangan yang harus dihadapi selama proses pembelajaran, serta peluang yang didapat dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya strategi yang inovatif dan kolaborasi yang kuat antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter yang unggul di Kurikulum Merdeka. Abstract

This article analyzes the use of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model in improving student learning outcomes in higher classes. CIRC is a cooperative learning model that integrates reading and writing activities with the aim of improving students’ academic skills. Through a literature review, this article reviews various research related to the implementation of CIRC, as well as its impact on improving learning outcomes, especially in aspects of reading comprehension and writing skills in higher grades. The results of the analysis show that the CIRC model can encourage positive social interactions between students, increase learning motivation, and facilitate the achievement of better learning outcomes. The application of this model has also proven effective in improving students’ cognitive and affective abilities, as well as strengthening understanding of concepts through collaborative learning. This article concludes that CIRC is a potential model to be applied in higher class learning to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengeksplorasi cara yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan Educreations di SD Negeri Pemurus Dalam menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan penggunaan, interaktivitas media, dan dukungan untuk pembelajaran mandiri berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, mengembangkan keterampilan kognitif dan metakognitif, serta merasa lebih bertanggung jawab atas pembelajaran mereka sendiri. Berdasarkan teori dan hasil wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Educreations telah berhasil menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, menarik, dan mendukung perkembangan motivasi intrinsik siswa. Meskipun ada beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi, seperti dukungan perangkat dan pelatihan guru, manfaat yang diperoleh dari penggunaan aplikasi ini sangat signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity, cooperation skills, critical thinking, and student learning outcomes. This is due to one-way learning, lack of student activeness, and monotonous learning. The effort to overcome it using the CANGKAL model and WORDWALL media. This study aims to describe teacher activities, analyse the improvement of student activities, cooperation skills, critical thinking, and learning outcomes. This research is a PTK with the subject of fifth grade students of SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin, semester II of the 2023/2024 school year. The results showed significant improvement in all aspects, so it is recommended to use this model to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This research identifies the low activity and critical thinking skills of students in IPAS learning, caused by methods that are less focused on students and monotonous learning. To overcome this problem, the MEANING GREAT learning model was applied. The aim was to describe the improvement of learning quality, student activity, as well as critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the subject of 21 fourth grade students of SDN Kebun Bunga 4 Banjarmasin, conducted in three meetings. Data were collected through qualitative observation and quantitative written tests. The results showed an increase in teacher activity from a score of 33 to 39, student activity from 52% to 90%, critical thinking skills from 48% to 90%, and the completeness of student learning outcomes from 76% to 90%. The MEANING GREAT model proved effective in improving the quality of learning and can be an alternative for teachers to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The selection of suitable instructional models significantly contributes to raising the quality of learning interactions between teachers and students. The present classroom-based action research was implemented with fifth-grade students at SDN Kertak Hanyar 1–3, Banjar Regency, to evaluate the impact of implementing Problem-Based Learning, Numbered Heads Together, and the ULTRASI game on learning activities, problem-solving skill, and mathematics achievement in the topic of "Angles." Data were collected through assessments of problem-solving skills, observations of the learning process, and both individual and group written tests. The findings revealed that all three instructional models effectively improved student participation, problem-solving skills, and academic performance. PBL supported students in developing systematic approaches to problem-solving, NHT strengthened collaboration and group accountability, while ULTRASI enhanced conceptual understanding through engaging and visually appealing media. The successful implementation of these strategies was evidenced by the achievement of predetermined performance indicators.

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of low self-confidence among grade 5 students at SDN Sungai Miai 1 in the Indonesian Language learning process. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ self-confidence skills through the implementation of the PANTING learning model, which combines Problem Based Learning, Role Playing, and Talking Stick methods. This study employs a mixed-methods approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over four sessions. The research subjects consisted of 19 students, including 15 boys and 4 girls. The results show a significant increase in students’ self-confidence, rising from 11% in the first session to 89% in the fourth session. These findings demonstrate that the PANTING learning model effectively enhances students’ self-confidence and learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language subject. Therefore, this model is recommended for use to improve student engagement and confidence in elementary education.
