Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the implementation of teacher self-development (2) the teacher's scientific publications, and (3) the implementation of the teacher's innovative work. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach to the type of percentage. The subjects of this study were 60 high school teachers for Tidore's disability. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and documentation and data analysis using descriptive analysis of presentations. The results show that: (1) the implementation of teacher self-development is in very good criteria, (2) the teacher's scientific publications are in good criteria, and (3) the implementation of the teacher's innovative work is very good. This shows that teachers in high schools in the Tidore sub-district have the will and active participation in teacher continuous professional development activities which are shown with very good results. For this reason, it is suggested to: (1) principals to always provide opportunities and motivation for teachers to develop their professionalism, and (2) teachers are expected to continuously develop self-quality related to their professionalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan partisipasi paguyuban sekolah dalam (1) penataan ruang kelas, (2) penataan lingkungan sekolah, (3) pembelajaran peserta didik, dan (4) kelas inspirasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Limboto, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) partisipasi paguyuban sekolah dalam ruang kelas meliputi pengecatan ruang kelas, pengadaan tempat pojok baca dan buku literasi, pengadaan sarana pelengkap dan pendukung pembelajaran dalam ruang kelas, (2) partisipasi paguyuban sekolah dalam penataan lingkungan sekolah meliputi pengolahan tanaman hias dan pengadaan apotek hidup, (3) partisipasi paguyuban sekolah dalam pembelajaran peserta didik berfokus pada keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan, serta (4) partisipasi paguyuban sekolah dalam kelas inspirasi diselenggarakan dengan pemberian motivasi dan inspirasi pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) perencanaan supervisi guru, (2) pengorganisasian supervisi guru, (3) pengoordinasian supervisi guru, (4) monitoring dan evaluasi supervisi guru, serta (5) tindak lanjut hasil evaluasi supervisi guru berbasis teknologi digital di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif eksplanatori. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner (angket), wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan supervisi guru berbasis teknologi digital berada dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase 85,86%, (2) pengorganisasian supervisi guru berbasis teknologi digital berada dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase 85,68%, (3) pengoordinasian supervisi guru berbasis teknologi digital berada dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase 83,51%, (4) monitoring dan evaluasi supervisi guru berbasis teknologi digital berada dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase 87,16%, serta (5) tindak lanjut hasil evaluasi supervisi guru berbasis teknologi digital berada dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase 82,46%.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the instructional leadership practices of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo in integrating local values into the curriculum. It specifically focuses on identifying the forms of integrated local values, the leadership strategies employed by teachers, and the impact of this integration. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were gathered through in-depth observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentary analysis. The collected data were then processed using descriptive-qualitative analysis techniques. The findings reveal that: (1) Local values are integrated into learning through the multifaceted roles of teachers as educators, instructors, mentors, and classroom managers; (2) Key leadership strategies for integration involve establishing a clear vision and learning policies, implementing the structured “Every Day Five Goodness” program, and fostering community collaboration via the “Learning with Cultural Experts” initiative; (3) The integration has a significant positive impact, leading to enhanced teacher professionalism and the cultivation of strong, positive character in students. This study offers a novel perspective by shifting the focus from principal-led instructional leadership to teacher-led instructional leadership, specifically within the under-explored context of integrating local Gorontalo values to strengthen character education. The findings provide a practical framework for teachers and school administrators to systematically integrate local wisdom into national curricula. The identified strategies, such as the “Every Day Five Goodness” program, serve as a replicable model for other schools seeking to promote cultural preservation and character building. This research contributes to the fields of educational leadership and curriculum development by demonstrating how teachers can act as instructional leaders and agents of cultural preservation. It provides an evidence-based model for enhancing both teacher professionalism and student character outcomes through the deliberate integration of local values.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sebuah kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi oleh seseorang dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara. Pendidikan menjadi salah satu aspek dalam kehidupan yang mampu memberi arah jalan seorang individu dalam menjalani kehidupannya di dunia. Pendidikan akan selalu di renovasi dan diperbaiki sehingga mampu menghasilkan ilmu pengetahuan yang baru yang mampu mengadakan sebuah perubahan yang lebih baik dalam memenuhi aspek-aspek kehidupan lainnya. Melalui pendidikan baik yang bersifat formal maupun non formal anak didik akan mengalami sebuah proses perubahan dalam dirinya dan kehidupannya baik perubahan pengetahuan atapun perilakunya. Proses perubahan diri ini yang disebut dengan belajar. Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu pendorong seseorang menjadi lebih aktif dan lebih semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, seorang individu atau peserta didik yang sedang dalam proses mengikuti jenjang sekolah akan selalu membutuhkan yang namanya motivasi belajar. Yang dengan itu membantu ia mendapatkan suasana belajar yang baik dan mampu meningkatkan keefektifsn pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The implementation of differentiated learning still faces substantial challenges, particularly in adapting content, processes, and learning products to meet the needs of diverse learners. This study aims to describe student governance in differentiated learning at SMP Negeri 1 Bulawa by examining: (1) planning; (2) organization; (3) implementation; and (4) assessment. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bulawa with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis, and analyzed using an interaction model of data analysis. The findings show that: (1) student governance planning is oriented toward the application of student-centered learning principles; (2) student organization is carried out collaboratively and flexibly; (3) the implementation of differentiated learning proceeds through adjustments to students’ readiness, interests, and learning profiles; and (4) assessment practices are comprehensive, continuous, and reflective. Overall, the implementation of differentiated learning at SMP Negeri 1 Bulawa has been successful and reflects the school’s concrete efforts to realize inclusive, adaptive, and student-centered learning, thereby strengthening governance practices that support differentiated instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz dalam mendukung pembelajaran berbasis deep learning di Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kecamatan Telaga, dengan fokus pada tiga pendekatan: mindful learning, meaningful learning, dan joyful learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif eksplanatori, melibatkan 33 guru yang secara langsung menerapkan Quizizz dalam pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Quizizz untuk mindful learning dan meaningful learning berada pada kriteria baik, karena membantu siswa fokus, meningkatkan kesadaran, serta mengaitkan materi dengan pengetahuan sebelumnya. Sementara itu, pemanfaatan Quizizz untuk joyful learning mendapat penilaian sangat baik, karena menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan memotivasi siswa. Secara keseluruhan, Quizizz terbukti efektif dalam mendukung keterlibatan aktif siswa dan pengalaman belajar yang positif, serta menjadi alat yang potensial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan profesionalisme guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia Gorontalo dalam meningkatkan daya saing madrasah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan pengecekan keabsahan melalui perpanjangan pengamatan serta triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Idealized Influence tercermin dari keteladanan nilai, etika, dan integritas melalui program Al-Kahfi Time yang membentuk budaya spiritual; (2) Inspirational Motivationdiwujudkan melalui pembangunan visi, pelatihan pemberdayaan guru, dan penguatan budaya berprestasi siswa; (3) Intellectual Stimulation terlihat pada dorongan inovasi, pemikiran kritis, dan kurikulum berbasis riset dalam lingkungan yang kreatif; (4) Individualized Consideration ditunjukkan dengan perhatian personal melalui program Asesmen Kompetensi Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (AKGTK), yang mendukung pengembangan potensi individu. Kepemimpinan ini terbukti mendorong kemajuan madrasah secara holistik.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the New Culture Integration Process (NCIP) model in elementary schools resulting from regrouping in Gorontalo, focusing on four stages of integration: pre-merger, during-merger, post-merger, and cultural integration. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed involving all elementary schools resulting from regrouping in Gorontalo as the population. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics with five-category interval criteria. The findings reveal a consistent pattern of improvement across all implementation stages. The pre-merger stage achieved a score of 4.13 (high category) as an initial foundation, although weaknesses were identified in feasibility study (4.03) and benchmarking (3.84) indicators. The during-merger stage increased significantly by 0.15 points to 4.28 (very high category), with main strengths in resource management and leadership. The post-merger stage reached 4.33 (very high category), demonstrating organizational resilience with organizational values and leadership roles as primary contributors. The cultural integration stage maintained a score of 4.33 (very high category), indicating a plateau of excellence where integration quality stabilizes at an optimal level, characterized by sustained commitment, exemplary leadership, multi-level trust, strong togetherness, and efficiency in building communication. These findings validate the NCIP model design that each stage builds foundations for subsequent stages, with effective leadership as a key success factor. Recommendations include strengthening analytical capacity in pre-merger planning, developing sustainable leadership programs, and strategies for embedding culture into daily activities. Future studies may explore the longitudinal dynamics of cultural integration and develop early detection instruments for potential inefficiencies in merger planning.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of human resource management (HRM) in an inclusive elementary school at the Laboratory Elementary School of Gorontalo State University, focusing on planning, professional development, performance evaluation, and compensation. Using a qualitative case study, data were collected from principals, regular and special education teachers, administrative staff, and parents through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings indicate that HR planning is flexible and data-driven but remains reactive due to limited forecasting and formally trained staff. Professional development strengthens teacher competence through collaborative workshops, yet sustainability depends on integrating programs into school policy. Performance evaluation emphasizes formative feedback but lacks standardized criteria for inclusion-specific competencies, and compensation relies heavily on intrinsic motivation with minimal non-financial recognition. The study highlights that effective inclusive HRM requires systemic alignment across pedagogical, emotional, and institutional domains, balancing professional competence with teacher well-being, and offers practical insights for policy and school-level strategies to sustain inclusive education in the Indonesian context.
