Abstract

            Abstract: This reasearch aimed to determine students' attitudes on science by applying cooperative learning model talking chips at junior high school science learning on Objects Classification matter. The subject of this research was the students of class VII C Mts Al-Huda Pekanbaru, that consisted of 26 students. The data of this reasearch was primary data obtained  from students’ prestest and post-test scores using students' attitudes questionnaire on science and then analyzed descriptively. It consisted of four indicators, they were interesting in science, science learning activities, the importance of science and views on science  environmental. Based on data analysis with Likert scale questionnaire obtained an average of 1-4 students' attitudes toward sians with initial score of 2.58 and a final score of 2.83 was obtained high category.   And then  students' attitudes increasing on science was analyzed by using a gain an obtained score 0.17 by low category. There for it  can concluded Aplication Cooperative Learning Model Type Talking Chips can improve students' attitudes on science in class VIIC Mts Al-Huda Pekanbaru with low gain category.

Abstract

Abstrack: The purpose of this study discovered the practicalities of multimedia from the research that has been done about validation and development of magnetic field interactive multimedia using Adobe Flash. There are 17 students and 5 teachers from senior high school in Pekanbaru has participated in this research. The design of this study was Research and Development (R&D). The first step was preliminary study, multimedia design, multimedia manufacture, multimedia validation, multimedia revision, valid multimedia, practicalities, finally produced valid and practical multimedia. In the research of practicalities, it used experiment methods with Single One Shot Case Study model. Practicalities data has been taken from questionnaire and interview with the teachers and students. Descriptive analysis has been used for knowing practicality of magnetic field interactive multimedia. The results has indicated that the text, graphics, color, animation, audio, video, navigation, and background in multimedia is practical to read, understand, and observe. This has been shown by average score of the valuation indicator 3.40 to teachers and 3.27 to students with very high category. The practicality results also has been supported by interview with the same result, that magnetic field interactive multimedia practical to use in magnetic field learning.Key Words: Practicalities, Magnetic Field Interactive Multimedia, Adobe Flash.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to design and build interactive multimedia on the magnetic field’s topic using adobe flash as a physics learning mediafor twelfth grade in senior high school. The type of product is validation of multimedia interaktif. This research was a R&D research using ADDIE models. The data was needed on this research was the validation assessment score given by the validator of multimedia learning form validation and evaluation sheets with using descriptive analysis techniques by converting the data into quantitative data, that was expressed in the form of a number with a certain interval. Validator consists of 4 people as a experts construct and 3 people as a expert user that given the score by the aspects of the design, pedagogy, learning content, and users. Validation was done two times, the first validation was repairs and second validation was the votes. The final results of the validation assessment of experts construct was 3.49 with categorized as very high and ratings obtained from expert users was 3.59 categorized as very high. Based on these results, we can conclude that the interactive multimedia using adobe flash as a physics learning media for twelfth grade in senior high school declared valid and eligible for use in the process of learning and teaching.Kata Kunci: Interactive Multimedia, Adobe Flash, Magnetic Field, Validation

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the result of physics learning student class IX of SMPN 1 Bantan and to explain the significant contradiction the result of physics learning between student that have been learn by the conventional method with the student that have been learn by the cooperatif learning model type Course Review Horay. The type of research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The subject of this research is students class IX at SMPN 1 Bantan, total of 40 students as divide into two class, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of the result before and after learning physics by implementation of cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay and analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Then, measured the increase the result by normalized gain (gain-N). The result of this research, from descriptive analysis got score result of students at experimental class in high category with N-Gain 0,71, and the control class in the middle category with N-Gain 0,46. From inferential anylisis show that there has significant contradiction the result of physics learning between student that have been learn by the conventional method with the student that have been learn by the cooperatif learning model type Course Review Horay.  Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay can to increase the result of physics learning student class IX SMPN 1 Bantan and be found the significant contradiction the result of physics learning between student that have been learn by the conventional method with the student that have been learn by the cooperatif learning model type Course Review Horay.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to design and build a educational media of learning physics are valid uses Augmented Reality technology in the kinetic theory of gases for senior high school grade XI. This research was research and Development (R & D) using instructional design type ADDIE includes the step of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluating. Sources of data in this study is the assessment of data provided by the validity of the 6 validator, consisting of three lecturers and three teachers. Aspects assessed include designing, pedagogic, learning content and ease of use. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The final result of media validation assessment of all aspects of learning physics had validity value of 3.55 with a very high category. Based on these results, we can conclude that the media of learning physics using Augmented Reality technology in the kinetic theory of gases for a high school grade XI declared valid categorized as very high, so that used in the process of learning and teaching.Keywords: Education Media, Augmented Reality, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Validation

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aims to describe and differentiate the student formal reasoning through the implementation of learning cycle 7E model for the material dynamic electricity in the class of X SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Population of this research is all of X classes with 304 students. Meanwhile the samples are 37 students in X3 as experimental class and 37 students in X4 as control class. The instrument of data collection in this study is a formal reasoning performance test which consists of 15 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performace of the physic learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a formal reasoning considerably using independent sample t-test using SPSS 20 program. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the class is 80.16% with the good category, and declared as an effective learning. The value of t tests is p = 0.008 means p < 0.05, then H0 is rejected. Which means that there are differences in formal reasoning test result between students in experiment class that taught using learning cycle 7E and control class that uses conventional learning with a level of 95%. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of learning cycle 7E can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom X SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning cycle 7E, formal reasoning, dinamyc electricity
