Abstract

A study of the effect of variations on the number of transparent TiO2 layers on dye-sensitized dye (DSSC) solar cell performance has been conducted. This study aims to make DSSC solar cell with transparent amount of transparent TiO2 transparent layer and characterize its working function by measuring the photovoltaic characteristics. From the results of the research, the Jsc value obtained increases with the increase in the number of layers for the case of cells A and B cells, this is probably related to the increasing number of dye that binds to TiO2 with increasing cell thickness, thus increasing the amount of light absorbed by dye . However, when the thickness of the TiO2 layer is added (cells C and D) the Jsc value actually decreases. A DSSC A cell with a layer of transparent TiO2 layer of 1 layer shows the largest open circuit voltage value of 0.7V, while DSSC B cells show the highest current density value of 2.07mA / cm2, and the highest fill factor (FF) is indicated by Sample D. Abstract

COVID-19 adalah penyakit menular yang dapat menginfeksi banyak orang apabila tidak menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. Penyakit ini telah menyebar dengan cepat ke berbagai daerah termasuk ke desa-desa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengedukasi masyarakat Desa Kafoofoo Kabupaten Muna dalam pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19. Tahapan pengabdian meliputi: pembekalan tim pelaksana, koordinasi dengan aparat desa, pengukuran tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat, dan edukasi pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19 melalui poster, alat peraga, dan penyuluhan kepada perwakilan warga. Hasil kegiatan edukasi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap COVID-19 telah meningkat, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya penggunaan masker di luar rumah.

Abstract

We study the heavy-ion reaction at sub-barrier energies for 16O+144,154Smsystems using full order coupled-channels formalism. We especially investigate the effect of fusion and quasi- elastic barrier distributions on the surface diffuseness and the coupling radius parameters of the nuclear potential for these systems. We found that the structure of fusion and quasi-elastic barrier distributions is more sensitive to the surface diffuseness and coupling radius parameters for the reaction with spherical target, 16O+144Sm systemcompared to the reaction that involves the deformed target, i.e., 16O+154Sm system. In more detail, the results of coupled-channels calculations for the fusion and the quasi-elastic barrier distributions for deformed target are not sensitive to the choice of the coupling radius and surface diffuseness parameters. In mark contrast, the structure of the fusion and the quasi-elastic barrier distributions for spherical target are very sensitive to the coupling radius and surface diffuseness parameters. We found that the small surface diffuseness parameter smeared out the fusion barrier distributions and the larger coupling radius smoothed the high energy peak of the quasi-elastic barrier distributions. We also found that the larger coupling radius, , is required by the experimental quasi-elastic barrier distribution for the 16O+144Sm system whereas the experimental fusion barrier distribution compulsory the small value, i.e., .

Abstract

The objective of the study was to obtain the ZnO thin films with variation concentration of zinc acetate dehydrate (ZAD), and variation of spin coater speed and rotation time. We observed the effect of the former parameters on the optical characteristics that comprised of the spectrum of absorption, transmittance, and ZnO crystallite size from UV-Vis spectrometer and XRD orderly. For the analysis of the effect of the variation of concentration, ZAD diluted into ethanol with the concentration 0.1M, 0.25M, 0.5M, 0.75M and 1M, with the addition of diethanolamine (DEA). Then it was deposited on the glass substrate with spin coater, continued by the heating on the hotplate with the number of layer's variation. For the analysis of deposition parameter effect on the transmittance and the size of ZnO crystal, we used 0.25M ZnO precursor solution with the addition of DEA, then deposited by speed and time of rotation of spin coater of 1230 rpm, 2500 rpm, and 3200 rpm for 10, 15 and 30 seconds of each. The smallest absorbance value 0.05 obtained for single layer 0.1M ZnO, while the maximum transmittance value obtained for three-layer 0.25M ZnO. Concentration variation did not affect the energy gap, whose value was approximately 3.2 eV for all samples. From the XRD result, we found that deposition time affected the number of diffraction lines, the size of the crystallite, and the transmittance.

Abstract

The novel coronavirus disease 19 (Covid-19) which is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has been a pandemic across the world, which necessitate the need for the antiviral drug discovery. One of the potential protein targets for coronavirus treatment is RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. It is the key enzyme in the viral replication machinery, and it does not exist in human beings, therefore its targeting has been considered as a strategic approach. Here we describe the identification of potential hits from Indonesian Herbal and ZINC databases. The pharmacophore modeling was employed followed by molecular docking and dynamics simulation for 40 ns. 151 and 14480 hit molecules were retrieved from Indonesian herbal and ZINC databases, respectively. Three hits that were selected based on the structural analysis were stable during 40 ns, while binding energy prediction further implied that ZINC1529045114, ZINC169730811, and 9-Ribosyl-trans-zeatin had tighter binding affinities compared to Remdesivir. The ZINC169730811 had the strongest affinity toward RdRp compared to the other two hits including Remdesivir and its binding was corroborated by electrostatic, van der Waals, and nonpolar contribution for solvation energies. The present study offers three hits showing tighter binding to RdRp based on MM-PBSA binding energy prediction for further experimental verification.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pariwisata adalah berbagai macam kegiatan wisata yang didukung berbagai fasilitas serta layanan yang disediakan oleh masyarakat, pengusaha, dan pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk : (1) mendapatkan informasi persebaran objek wisata yang ada di Kecamatan Batauga Kabupaten Buton Selatan; (2) mengetahui kondisi objek wisata di Kecamatan Batauga Kabupaten Buton Selatan, dan (3) mengetahui strategi pengembangan pariwisata di Kecamatan Batauga Kabupaten Buton Selatan.  Metode analisis yang digunakan  pada penelitian ini adalah analisis pemetaan, analisis deskriptif, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Kecamatan Batauga memiliki 8 objek wisata yang tersebar di 7 desa/kelurahan yaitu Lawela Selatan, Busoa, Laompo, Masiri, Majapahit, Bola dan Poogalampa; (2) Kondisi dan strategi pengembagan objek wisata di Kecamatan Batauga dijelaskan melalui salah satu objek wisata yaitu wisata permandian Kabura-burana: memiliki sarana prsarana seperti gazebo, masjid, kamarganti, dan warung. (3) Strategi pengembangan permandian Kabura-burana untuk strategi S-O adalah strategi pengembangan sebagai kawasan wisata alam, strategi pengembangan sumber air bersih, strategi pengembangan atraksi budaya. Strategi pengembangan untuk strategi W-O adalah strategi pengembangan sarana dan prasarana, dan strategi S-T adalah strategi pemanfaatan sumber daya alam, serta strategi W-T adalah strategi pengembangan pelestarian vegetasi. Kata Kunci: Kata kunci:Persebaran, kondisi, strategi pengembanganobjek wisata, BataugaAbstract: Tourism is a variety of tourism activities that is supported by various facilities and services provided by the community, businessmen, and government. This research aims to: (1) obtain information on the distribution of tourist objects in Batauga District, South Buton Regency; (2) know the condition of tourism objects in Batauga District, South Buton Regency, and (3) know the tourism development strategy in Batauga District, South Buton Regency. The data in this research is analyzed by using are mapping analysis, descriptive analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are: (1) Batauga district has 8 tourist objects that spread out into 7 villages, namely South Lawela, Busoa, Laompo, Masiri, Majapahit, Bola and Poogalampa; (2) The condition and tourism development strategies in Batauga District is explained trough one of tourist object, the Kabura-burana bathe destination has infrastructure, namely: gazebos, mosques, changing rooms, and stalls. Access to the Kabura-burana bathe destination can be passed using two wheels or four wheels transportation; (3) The strategy for developing Kabura-burana bathe destination for the S-O strategy is a development strategy as a natural tourism area, a strategy for developing clean water sources, and a strategy for developing cultural attractions. The development strategy for the W-O strategy is a strategy for developing facilities and infrastructure, and the ST strategy is a strategy for utilizing natural resources, and the W-T strategy is a strategy for developing vegetation conservation.Keywords: Distribution, condition, tourism development strategies, Batauga

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang fabrikasi sel surya tersensitisasi dye (Dye sensitized solar cell) dengan variasi lapisan scattering, untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan lapisan scattering yang berbeda terhadap daya serap dye di dalam lapisan TiO2 melalui pengukuran absorbansi, dan pengaruh penggunaan lapisan scattering terhadap unjuk kerja sel surya melalui pengukuran I-V. Hasil pengukuran absorbansi menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang linear antara peningkatan nilai absorbansi dengan peningkatan nilai efisiensi sel DSSC yang dihasilkan. Penggunaan lapisan scattering terbukti memperpanjang lintasan cahaya didalam lapisan TiO2 yang tampak dari spektrum absorbansi yang dihasilkan dimana daerah penyerapannya menjadi lebih panjang melewati daerah cahaya tampak (Sampel B dan C) dan  memasuki daerah penyerapan cahaya Near Infrared (NIR) (Sampel D). Hasil pengukuran I-V, sampel C2 menunjukkan efisiensi terbaik yang dihasilkan oleh sel yang menggunakan Ti-Nanooxide reflector sebagai lapisan scattering yaitu sebesar 3,43%, JSC sebesar 9,19 mA/cm2 dan VOC sebesar 0,69 Volt. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, lapisan scattering yang paling cocok digunakan pada sel DSSC adalah menggunakan Ti-nanooxide reflector.

Abstract

Research about CdO thin film deposition has been conducted using the chemical immersion technique. The deposition process was conducted by immersing the glass substrate into the solution couple of cadmium acetate dehydrate (Cd(CH3COO)2.2H2O) by flitting with sodium hydroxide (NaOH). The solutions' concentrations were varied to investigate the influence of the concentration ratio of both solutions on the characteristic of resulted in CdO film. To strengthen the atomic bonding and discharge the rest of the water content, the resulting films were then heated in the furnace at 225 oC. Based on the measurement result of SEM-EDX, the Cd mass percentage in CdO thin films is quantitatively dependent on the concentration of cadmium acetate dehydrate solution. Also, the results of optical band gap determinations show that the increasing ratio of Cd to O content was a tendency in linear relation with the stricture of its optical band gap.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis struktur lapisan metal oksida ZnO dan Al2O3 untuk aplikasi foto-anoda sel surya perovskite. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode sol-gel dimana larutan prekursor ZnO dan zinc asetat dihidrat dicampurkan dengan pelarut ethanol dan ditambah diethanolamine (DEA), kemudian dicampur selama 1 hari. Larutan prekursor selanjutnya di-doping dengan aluminium klorida (AlCl3) pada variasi konsentrasi 0,3%, 0,6%, dan 1%. Hasil prekursornya kemudian dilapiskan di atas kaca preparat menggunakan alat spin coating dan dipanaskan di atas hot plate. Lapisan tipis yang dihasilkan kemudian dikarakterisasi XRD dan SEM untuk mengetahui ukuran kristal dan morfologinya. Dari hasil pengukuran XRD, lapisan tipis ZnO membentuk kristal dengan 3 puncak yang terorientasi pada 2θ 31,7746o, 34,4386o, dan 36,7265o dengan ukuran kristal 35,3138 nm, 35,5584 nm, dan 71,1168 nm. Sedang hasil pengukuran SEM menunjukkan bahwa semakin bertambahnya konsentrasi dopan maka ukuran kristal semakin berkurang

Abstract

The absence of microbial contamination is one requirement for the viability of using chicken meat as a feed ingredient. Many microbes that are implicated as food pollutants come from bacterial families. This study aimed to identify and characterize contaminating bacteria in chicken meat processed at the local market's chicken slaughterhouse in Kendari. In this study, both descriptive and experimental methods were applied. Differentially selective mediums for Gram-negative bacteria were used for bacterial isolation. Bacteria were identified using the Eosin methylene blue agar (EMBA) medium, which can ferment lactose and sucrose. The presence of bacteria was confirmed macroscopically using biochemical characteristics and microscopically using Gram stain staining. The ability of bacteria to ferment glucose, sucrose, and lactose and their ability to produce gas and H2S were identified based on their physicalchemical properties through the Triple Sugar Iron Agar (TSIA) test. The results showed that 96% of the examined samples were microbially contaminated. The various types of infecting bacteria included 52% of Pseudomonas sp., 68% of Salmonella sp., and 36% of Escherichia coli. Poor hygiene practices are the main cause of contamination in chicken meat during production. The local market in Kendari sells chicken meat that does not fulfill food safety criteria, especially given bacterial infection.
