Abstract

Peningkatan demand semen curah di Kawasan Timur Indonesia mendorong perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksinya. Hal ini menyebabkan perusahaan perlu menambah kapasitas transportasinya agar semua demand di packing plant dapat dipenuhi. Semen didistribusikan dalam bentuk curah dengan menggunakan kapal dry-bulk carrier. Kapal yang digunakan terdiri dari dua jenis, yaitu berdasarkan kapasitasnya (volume muat) dan berdasarkan investasinya. Terdapat 7 (tujuh) jenis kapal berdasarkan kapasitasnya, yaitu: kapal kapasitas 1.000 ton; 3.000 ton; 4.000 ton; 5.000 ton; 6.000 ton; 8.000 ton; dan 12.000 ton. Sedangkan jenis kapal berdasarkan investasinya terdiri dari dua, yaitu pembelian dan penyewaan. Kapasitas kapal dry-bulk carrier harus dapat memenuhi order size packing plant tujuan sebelum kapasitas silo packing plant mencapai titik safety stock. Akan tetapi, kapasitas kapal yang digunakan harus memenuhi syarat draught pelabuhan masing-masing packing plant. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai jenis investasi kapal yang dapat memberikan profit terbesar bagi perusahaan. Pemodelan dengan sistem dinamik digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan keputusan investasi kapal. Dari hasil running simulasi diperoleh jenis investasi yang memberikan profit terbesar, yaitu investasi dilakukan dengan penyewaan kapal (sistem freight charter) dengan vendor. Jenis kapal yang disewa adalah kapal berkapasitas 12.000 ton sebanyak 1 (satu) unit.

Abstract

Plastic bag is a product that is very often used in everyday life. Plastic bags are one of the biggest contributors to the volume of waste in Indonesia. Therefore, a policy related to the use of plastic bags is called a zero plastic bag. This policy requires plastic bag users to switch to using environmentally friendly bags. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the zero platic bag policy on Makassar City community behavior related to the environment or green behavior if this policy is applied in the City of Makassar. To determine the effect of the zero plastic bag policy on people's behavior patterns about the environment using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method. Initial identification was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents using plastic bags, especially retail consumers in Makassar City. The questionnaire contained green behavior variables which consisted of five variables. Then the results of data collection using a questionnaire are processed using descriptive analysis and then look for the effect of zero plastic bag policies on green behavior using the SEM method. The results of the identification of the influence of zero plastic bag policy based on four variables namely environmental knowledge, environmental attitude, green advertising, and green consumption on green behavior are that of the four variables that have a positive influence on green behavior are environmental attitude, green advertising, and green consumption . The results of this study can be used as policy input and see how effective this policy is when applied in Makassar City.

Abstract

Population density is one of the triggers for the increasing volume of waste including plastic waste. Waste is one problem that needs attention, especially in urban areas. Waste can be used as a source of renewable energy which is very abundant but the obstacle is that until now it has not been optimally utilized. However, at present, this pattern of thinking has begun to be pushed aside after the implementation of PLTSa in the garbage disposal area and will increase public awareness of the environment. There are several management methods that can be used to make waste as fuel to generate electricity, namely, the thermal conversion process and the biological conversion process. The process of managing waste as fuel will be even better if it is carried out using a strategic partner method. The Environmental Agency of Pangkep Region has implemented a waste bank program so that waste can be well coordinated in several districts. The problem faced by the waste bank in Pangkep region is the behavior of sorting waste which is still difficult, the results of sorting waste have not been fully utilized, and there is no understanding regarding waste management using the PLTSa mechanism. To increase the knowledge of the waste bank regarding the utilization of waste with the PLTSa mechanism, socialization is carried out with the output of the waste bank manager to find out the potential for waste to become PLTSa fuel, the waste bank manager can find out the mechanism of partner cooperation in realizing PLTSa, and guidelines for designing waste as fuel. PLTSa. This activity was carried out at the Environmental Agency of Pangkep Region with participants representing several waste banks in Pangkep Region.

Abstract

This community service program (PkM) focuses on empowering the single parent woman community in Tetebatu Village, Kec. Pallangga Kab. Gowa through socialization, training, and mentoring activities to improve skills in making environmentally friendly soap products. This PkM activity is carried out in collaboration between the Department of Industrial Engineering, Hasanuddin University and the Tetebatu Village Office, Pallanga District, Gowa Regency. The focus of this PkM is single parent women with the hope that they will be able to be economically independent through the business they run in the future. A total of 10 single parent women participated in the two-day activity which included introduction of environmentally friendly products, environmentally friendly soap-making production practices and discussions related to soap entrepreneurship opportunities and marketing strategies. During the implementation of this activity, pre-test and post-test were also conducted for participants as a way to measure the success of the activity. The results showed that participants' understanding of the definition of environmentally friendly increased by 80%. In addition, 90% of participants also understand the benefits of environmentally friendly products and about 60% of participants have understood the procedures, methods, and hygiene standards in making liquid soap after socialization and training.

Abstract

Pengendalian persediaan merupakan hal penting bagi suatuperusahaan untuk mengetahui jumlah frekuensi pemesananyang tepat untuk perusahaan tersebut sehingga dapat meminimalisirkan biaya persediaan yang ada. PT. XYZmerupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengerjaankayu. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan yaituButsudan modan. Sejak 3 tahun terakhir terdapat beberapamaterial kayu nyatoh dan juga hardboard yang tersimpan di gudang yang menyebabkan tingginya cost dalam menyimpanbahan baku. Tahun 2021 tercatat total cost yang dikeluarkanperusahaan untuk persediaan bahan baku kayu nyatoh dan hardboard mencapai Rp424.762.952. Pada penelitian iniakan di terapkan model Dynamic Lot Sizing yaitumenggunakan metode Period Order Quantity, metode Least Unit Cost, metode Silver Meal Algorithm serta metode Algorithm Wagner-Within untuk mengendalikan sertamenentukan metode yang paling optimal yang dapat di terapkan oleh perusahaan. Hasil penelitian didapatkanbahwa metode Silver Meal Algorithm merupakan metodeyang optimal untuk digunakan karena mampu memiliki total cost yang rendah sehingga mampu menghemat total cost hingga Rp52.630.477. Metode Silver Meal ini dapatditerapkan oleh perusahan karena mampu meminimkan total cost yang di keluarkan serta mempertimbangkan kapasitasgudang yang ada pada perusahaan.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the drivers of the economy in Indonesia that can increase people's productivity. However, the problem that most MSMEs experience is in marketing their products. It is still difficult for MSMEs to carry out marketing because they have not maximized visual information media in carrying out marketing activities and expanding networking. This also happened to MSMEs assisted by Lampoko Village, Barru Regency. Several coached MSMEs have not maximized visual information media in carrying out marketing and networking activities. Company profile is a form of visual information media that can be applied to MSMEs so that the business profile of MSMEs can be known and support increased sales. In this service activity, a company profile was designed for the MSME Group assisted by Lampoko Village. The Company Profile is designed to support marketing activities and expand the networking of each MSME. From the results of service activities based on measuring activity achievements, it shows that on average MSMEs understand the function of the company profile and understand the content in it and know how to use the company profile for marketing activities and expanding networking.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri di Indonesia yang pesat memberikan dampak positif terhadap perekonomian, tetapi juga berdampak negatif pada lingkungan akibat kurangnya perhatian pengelolaan limbah dari kegiatan produksi. Untuk mengurangi dampak buruk tersebut, penerapan konsep produksi bersih menjadi sangat penting. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) merupakan pendekatan untuk mengevaluasi dan mengukur dampak lingkungan secara menyeluruh dari suatu produk sepanjang siklus hidupnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada Pengawas dan Analis Lingkungan di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kabupaten Pangkep dalam memahami, memonitoring, dan mengevaluasi dampak lingkungan perusahaan sesuai persyaratan PROPER Nasional, s Jurusan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik dan Informatika, Universitas Patria Artha.erta mendukung tercapainya beberapa poin Sustainable Development Goals. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode transfer IPTEKS kepada pihak mitra (DLH).  Luarannya adalah kemampuan mitra dalam mengidentifikasi area perbaikan, tahapan siklus hidup penyebab dampak signifikan, melakukan penilaian dan evaluasi dampak lingkungan, menyampaikan hasil LCA, serta memberikan informasi berbasis data untuk pengambilan keputusan.  Selama kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan pengukuran tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan tentang LCA dengan membagikan kuesioner pra kegiatan dan pasca kegiatan. Dari hasil kuesioner pra kegiatan menunjukkan 90% peserta belum pernah mendengar dan mempelajari terkait LCA. Berdasarkan kuesioner pasca kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 100% peserta sudah mengetahui penggunaan dan pemanfaatan LCA secara umum dalam melakukan penilaian dampak lingkungan. ABSTRACT The rapid industrial development in Indonesia has a positive impact on the economy, but also has a negative impact on the environment due to a lack of attention to waste management from production activities. To reduce these adverse impacts, the implementation of cleaner production concepts becomes very important. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an approach to evaluate and measure the overall environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge to Environmental Supervisors and Analysts at the Pangkep Regency Environmental Service in understanding, monitoring, and evaluating the environmental impact of companies according to the requirements of the National PROPER, as well as supporting the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals points. This community service activity is carried out using the Science and Technology transfer method to the party (DLH). The expected outcomes are the ability of partners to identify areas for improvement, life cycle stages that cause significant impacts, conduct environmental impact assessments and evaluations, convey LCA results, and provide data-based information to support decision-making. During the community service activity, the level of understanding of the training participants about LCA was measured by distributing pre-activity and post-activity questionnaires. The results of the pre-activity questionnaire showed that 90% of participants had never heard of or studied LCA. Based on the post-activity questionnaire, it showed that 100% of participants were aware of the general use and utilization of LCA in conducting environmental impact assessments. Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) of Pangkep Regency in using SimaPro software for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) within the context of environmental sustainability. Currently, DLH Pangkep faces challenges in conducting environmental impact assessments manually, which require significant human resources, time, and costs. Through the socialization and training of SimaPro usage, this activity aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of DLH in assessing the environmental impact of production systems. The implementation methods include needs assessment, activity planning, an opening session, practical training in using SimaPro, discussions and Q&A sessions, as well as evaluation and feedback. The expected outcomes include increased understanding and skills of participants in using SimaPro for LCA, along with scientific publications. This activity is expected to enhance the capacity of DLH Pangkep in conducting more comprehensive and efficient environmental impact assessments, thereby supporting DLH in making more sustainable decisions related to environmental policies in Pangkep Regency. Quantitative analysis of pre-test and post-test results shows a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills, especially in using SimaPro, with a 191.7% increase. This indicates the success of the training in enhancing DLH Pangkep's competency in environmental impact assessment.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Lamatti Riattang Village, Bulupoddo District, Sinjai Regency, focusing on palm sugar UMKM that still face challenges in selecting packaging suitable for their product characteristics. The main problem identified was the use of improper packaging, which affected shelf life, visual quality, and consumer trust. The activity was held on July 26, 2025, using socialization and evaluation methods through pre-test and post-test. The materials delivered included the definition, function, types, and examples of appropriate packaging as well as food labeling requirements in accordance with BPOM regulations. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of packaging functions, the importance of moisture barriers, and the necessity of proper labeling. Participants also planned to adopt high-barrier and environmentally friendly packaging to enhance product competitiveness. Therefore, this activity contributes to improving packaging literacy, label compliance, and business sustainability among palm sugar UMKM.
