Abstract

PerBAN-PT No. 5 concerning APS Instruments, Accreditation is an assessment activity to determine the eligibility of a Study Program. The purpose of accreditation is to be able to determine the eligibility of a Study Program based on criteria that refer to the National Higher Education Standards and to guarantee the quality of the Study Program externally both in the academic and non-academic fields. Accreditation status is a benchmark for the performance of the study program concerned and describes the quality, efficiency, and relevance of an organized study program. The person in charge of assessing is called an auditor, the auditor needs information about the study program obtained from completing the accreditation assessment instrument by first making a study program self-evaluation document. In practice, staff must collect data along with evidence to the auditor to carry out an assessment in accordance with the standards set by BAN-PT, but study program staff in data collection still often experience data being scattered from one another, because the data collected is not small. This also sometimes results in less than optimal data collection to the auditor so that it can reduce the assessment. This problem can be overcome by making an Audit Information System so that data collection can be more organized. This information system was built using the prototype method with three stages, namely Listen to Customer, Build/Revise Mock Up, and Test Drive Mock-Up. This system uses the Laravel framework while for coding this system uses the PHP programming language. The testing method used is the Black Box Testing method with the Equivalence Partitioning type. The result of this study is a Web-Based Internal Audit Information System that can facilitate the internal auditing of a study program.

Abstract

Evaluation of faculty performance is an assessment of the quality of a faculty at the University. This Accreditation Assessment is carried out internally as well as externally by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT). The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is one of the faculties at the University of Lampung, where faculty accreditation is the most important educational support used as an assessment criterion, namely vision, mission, objectives, student archives, and others. The amount of data is one of the problems faced by faculties in storing accreditation data. Referring to the above problems, it is appropriate to develop an "Faculty Performance Evaluation Information System and the University of Lampung Study Program Implementation Unit using the Laravel Framework" which can facilitate the process of searching for the archives and data needed. This information system was built using the prototype method with three stages, namely Listen To Customer (at this stage the system requirements analysis process is carried out based on customer requirements), Build/Revise Mock Up (at this stage the design and coding process is carried out according to customer requests), and Test Drives Mock Up (at this stage testing the system that has been made to the user is carried out). The coding for the development of this system uses the PHP programming language and to simplify the coding process for the Laravel framework design. The testing method used on this system uses the Black Box Testing method with the Equivalence Partitioning type. The result of this study is a Web-Based Faculty Performance Evaluation Information System that can facilitate staff in inputting the required data.

Abstract

Geographical Indications (GIs) are collective intellectual property rights that protect place names or designations used to identify goods with unique qualities, properties, or reputations from specific geographic areas. GIs were adapted from the provisions of the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) Agreement, which provides national and international legal protection to registered GI products. GIs are particularly important for developing countries like Indonesia, as they help maintain the authenticity of local products, often known by other regions, especially agricultural products. However, conflicts between trademark regulations and GIs have hindered the growth of GIs in Indonesia. In response to this issue, the Indonesian government enacted Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademark and Geographical Indications, granting GIs equal status to trademarks. Despite this, it has become evident through discussions with relevant agencies that the Trademark Law and GIs are not widely known by the community, including the Family Welfare Movement Organization (PKK) in Tanggamus Regency. Ironically, Tanggamus, one of the regencies in Lampung Province, holds GI certification for its Robusta coffee. The PKK, with its strategic role, can play a vital part in disseminating information about GIs to the community, including remote villages where coffee farmers reside. Therefore, this community service program aims to provide information about GI regulations to PKK members, hoping that they will help reach a wider audience in Tanggamus Regency.

Abstract

Climate change's impact on environmental quality has always been an interesting topic on the international platform, especially for developing countries. As a form of prevention and preparation, the World Bank green bonds by the World Bank have supported developing countries in participating in resilience to climate change. This article uses normative legal analysis with secondary data resources from books and other relevant scientific publications. The study result shows that the World Bank provided numerous recommendations and guidance for developing countries in implementing green bonds in their national regulations. Indonesia is one of the countries that applied green bonds through Bank Indonesia and Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Bank Indonesia and OJK are now focusing on developing a Sustainable Finance Instrument (SFI) to stimulate the growth of a green and sustainable economy. A collaboration between the government and the authorities is essential to continuously build and preserve SFI in the market in the long term.

Abstract

The government officially recognized the existence of traditional fishermen through Law Number 7 of 2016, focusing on Fisherman Protection and Empowerment. Nevertheless, these traditional fishermen remain an economically disadvantaged group, constrained by their reliance on age-old fishing techniques and practices. This situation hinders their access to vital information about maritime zones, in accordance with UNCLOS'82, and capture fisheries zones. The plight of traditional fishermen in Muara Gading Mas Village, East Lampung, serves as a stark illustration of this reality. The project also includes education on fishing jurisdictions within Indonesian waters. Employing a Community Education method, this service project engages representatives of the Muara Gading Mas fishing community in a discussion forum focused on their rights as traditional fishermen. This initiative aims to boost traditional fishermen's comprehension across various indicators, including marine area zoning, the protection of fishermen's rights, the fishermen protection law, the benefits of counseling for traditional fishermen, and understanding the process of reporting problems encountered by traditional fishermen. Nonetheless, improving the welfare of traditional fishermen in Muara Gading Mas Village necessitates government intervention, particularly in the provision of facilities to enhance their traditional fishing activities.

Abstract

Elevating the quality of learning is central to ensuring academic programs align with national standards. One crucial aspect of this process is the semester-based learning planning. Traditionally, the Department of Computer Science orchestrates this planning by creating separate documents for various data points, including courses, CPL (Graduate Learning Outcomes), and CPMK (Course Learning Outcomes), which are then integrated into the RPS (Semester Learning Plan) document each term. This study seeks a solution to enhance the efficiency of such data management through the development of an admin module. The system, designed using the Rapid Test Development (RAD) approach and the Laravel framework, offers a more effective data management solution, subsequently elevating the pedagogical quality of the Department of Computer Science. In conclusion, an integrated approach to data management can make a significant contribution to educational quality. Through this research, the scholarly contribution provided is the introduction of a systematic model in educational data management to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process in higher education institutions

Abstract

Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) is a method for monitoring forest health conditions using various ecological indicators, such as tree canopy density and transparency. This research aims to evaluate the performance of the EfficientNet model in classifying the density and transparency values of broadleaf and coniferous tree canopies. The dataset consists of 3,956 tree canopy images collected from Tahura Wan Abdul Rachman (WAR), a conservation forest in Lampung, and is divided into 10 classes based on magic cards. Magic cards are a learning medium in the form of picture cards containing values of density and transparency. This research uses the EfficientNet-B0 architecture with certain training parameters. The results show that the EfficientNet-B0 model provides the best performance with an accuracy of 90.00%, a precision of 97.00%, a recall of 97.00%, and an F1-score of 97.00%. This research shows that EfficientNet can be used effectively to assist decision making related to automatic visual monitoring of forest health.
