Abstract

The many theories, formulas, and elements that must be memorized make chemistry subjects considered complicated especially if it is not accompanied by the selection of an appropriate learning model, it certainly affects the student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle 7E learning model on buffer material on the learning outcomes of Class XI students of SMA N 2 Langowan by using independent variables (Learning Cycle 7E) and dependent variables (learning outcomes). The research sample is students of Class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 in SMA N 2 Langowan, the sample is determined by the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research method used is Quasi Experiment Design with Posttest-only Control Group Design research design. Testing of research instruments (post test) consists of validity and reliability tests. Data analysis method uses homogeneity test, normality test and t-test. Based on the analysis of the data it was found that the sample was homogeneous and normally distributed, t-test data at the real level (α) = 0.05 was obtained tcount = 9,489 and ttable = 2,042. Because tcount> ttable, reject H0 and H1 are accepted. Based on the results of the study concluded that there was an influence of the Learning Cycle 7E learning model on the buffer solution material on the learning outcomes of Class XI students of SMA N 2 Langowan with an average learning outcome in the experimental class 80.00 and the control class 35.59.

Abstract

This research is limited to the pronlem of the effect of experimental method using the problem based learning model which aims to find out wheather there is an effect of the experimental method using the problem based learning model on the average student learning outcomes on electrolyte and non elsctrolyte solution. This research is the experimental research conducted in X class of MIA MAN 1 Bitung in the academic year 2019/2020, and uses two classes namely class X MIA 1 as an experimental class and class X MIA 2 as an control class. The results of research in the experimental class given the experimental method used the problem based learning model obtained an averaged value of 89,2 while for the control class that was only given the experimental method obtained an averaged value of 50,6. For testing the hypothesis obtained thad H1 is accepted so it can be stated that the average student learning outcomes applied by the experimental method used the problem based learning model are higher than those using only the experimental method

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and reliable biological macromolecules three-tier test (BM-3T) so that it is feasible to identify misconceptions of prospective science teachers. This research is a type of research and development by following the research design by Kiliç and Sağlam, which consists of three stages, namely defining content, obtaining information on student misconceptions, and developing tests. Research data was obtained through interviews, validation, and test trials. The subjects in this study consisted of 14 prospective science teachers in the first semester in the 2021/2022 academic year at the Universitas Negeri Manado. The data analysis carried out includes the analysis of test validity, test reliability analysis, and test difficulty level analysis. The results showed that the 16 test items developed were declared valid, the test reliability coefficient of 0.78 was in the reliable category, and the level of difficulty of BM-3T shows an average value of 0.44, which is included in the moderate category. Therefore, BM-3T is appropriate to identify misconceptions of prospective science teachers on the topic of biological macromolecules.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA saat ini masih terfokus pada guru dimana guru belum menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang membuat siswa aktif sehingga siswa merasa bosan ketika belajar IPA dan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan quasi experimental design dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dan terambil 2 kelas dengan jumlah masing-masing 20 siswa, kelas VIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest sebelum proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dan posttest setelah proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh berupa nilai rata-rata hasil posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 84 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata hasil posttest adalah 70,75. Setelah di uji hipotesis (uji-t) diperoleh hasil thitung = 8,99 > ttabel = 1,685 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STM lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the outdoor study method based on democratic learning in improving junior high students' learning outcomes in science subjects. The research method we used is a quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano, while the research sample consisted of students in classes VII A and VII B. We obtained the research sample via a random sampling technique. Data were obtained from the pre-test before being given treatment and the post-test after being given treatment. The results showed that the average post-test result for the experimental class was 74.53, while the control class was 58.00. The t-test on the difference in the experimental and control groups' post-test scores shows the results of tcount = 37.91 > ttable = 2.011 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, the outdoor study methods based on democratic learning improve students' science learning outcomes on the interaction between living things and their environment topic at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar menggunakan model discovery learning dengan media lingkungan dan pengaruh model discovery learning dengan menggunakan media lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA SMP Negeri 9 Satap Langowan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa dan menggunakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan nonequivalent control group design untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua kelas VII yang masing-masing berjumlah 11 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentasi aktivitas belajar kelas eksperimen pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua sebesar 93,75% sedangkan rata-rata pada kelas kontrol sebesar 58,75%. Untuk hasil belajar siswa diperoleh hasil pengujian hipotesis thitung = 2,63 > ttabel =2,09 maka tolak H0 yang artinya hasil belajar IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan media lingkungan lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berbantuan media lingkungan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di SMP Negeri 9 Satap Langowan.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa menggunakan model problem based learning yang layak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengikuti tahapan penelitian menurut Borg dan Gall. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan angket (angket ahli materi dan ahli media). Berdasarkan penilaian angket ahli materi terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor 82 dengan persentase penilaian 97% dan penilaian ahli media memperoleh skor 82 dengan persentase penilaian 93% dengan kategori sangat baik maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk Lembar Kerja Siswa berbasis model problem based learnig ini sudah layak digunakan dalam pelaksaan pembelajaran IPA pada siswa SMP materi keanekaragaman hayati.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA harus memperhatikan bahan ajar dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Lembar kerja peserta didik dapat mempermudah peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis problem based learning pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan angket. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian yaitu (1) menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis problem based learning pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia di SMP Negeri 1 Dumoga, (2) Produk LKPD layak digunakan dengan perolehan persentase keseluruhan aspek ahli materi sebesar 96% dan ahli media sebesar 90%, persentase tersebut dalam kriteria Sangat Layak dan uji coba kelompok kecil yang terdiri dari 10 peserta didik yang memperoleh hasil sekitar 86%, sehingga LKPD yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti termasuk dalam kriteria Sangat Baik.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teachinf LKPD media on respiratory system material for class VIII junior high school in science subjects. The aim of this research is to develop student worksheets using a suitable project based learning model. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE development model following the research stages according to Dick and Carry, namely (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation.This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 8 Satap Tondano. This research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire and a questionnaire for product trials (small groups). Based on the material expert questionnaire assessment of the developed LKPD, the assessment results were 78.33% and the media expert assessment was 93.75% in the very good category and suitable for use in the field. Then a small group trial consisting of 7 students at SMP Negeri 8 Satap Tondano obtained a result of 82.96%, so it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet product with the Project Based Learning model is suitable for use in the science learning process for junior high school students with system material human breathing.

Abstract

The Purpose in this study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) at SMP N 8 SATAP Tondano and to determine the feasibility of LKPD at SMP N 8 SATAP Tondano. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) research and development methods. The research model used is the ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation model. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire and a questionnaire for product trials (small groups). Based on the material expert validation trial in the form of a questionnaire obtained a result of 98% based on the results of the media expert validation trial obtained a result of 92%. The percentage is in very good category and is suitable for use in the field. Then the small group tryout consisting of 12 students at SMP N 8 SATAP Tondano obtained 86% results, so that the IPA LKPD especially on the subject of food additives developed was included in the "Very Good" criteria.
