Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dari dosen STIE YAPAN Surabaya ini diadakan di YPAY Al Bisri Surabaya dengan memberi penyuluhan materi tentang pengembangan potensi diri dan kreativitas pada para santri di Yayasan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para santri tentang pengembangan potensi diri dan kreativitas serta untuk menjalin kerjasama yang saling memberi manfaat antara kedua belah pihak ini. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi dalam satu bulan dengan mengundang pimpinan dan para santri kelas VII sampai kelas XII (setingkat SMP sampai SMA/SMK) YPAY Al Bisri Surabaya. Kegiatan pengabdian dosen telah berjalan dengan baik karena didukung sepenuhnya oleh STIE YAPAN dan YPAY Al Bisri yang menjadi rekan atau mitra pengabdian. Semua santri di YPAY Al Bisri sesuai kelasnya telah mengikuti semua sesi dan juga memperhatikan dengan baik semua materi yang dipaparkan oleh para dosen. Berdasarkan hasil pengisian kuesioner, rata – rata santri menyatakan sangat baik dalam hal manfaat materi dan keramahan dosen, serta baik dalam kejelasan materi.

Abstract

Uji Kompetensi Keahlian pada program studi Akuntansi merupakan kegiatan rutin yang dilaksanakan oleh SMK Prapanca 2 Surabaya pada pertengahan semester genap untuk mendapatkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi yang bagus dalam bidang tersebut. Sebagai persiapan menghadapi uji kompetensi tersebut, dosen STIE YAPAN berperan memberi pembekalan dan pendampingan kepada para siswa kelas XII di program studi tersebut. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam dua hari pada bulan April 2024. Metode pelaksanaan pembekalan materi yang dilaksanakan pada hari pertama berupa pengulangan materi serta soal – soal latihan akuntansi dan keuangan lembaga kepada para siswa kelas XII. Sedangkan, pada hari kedua yaitu saat uji kompetensi keahlian di program studi tersebut, dosen STIE YAPAN melakukan pendampingan bersama guru akuntansi internal dari SMK Prapanca 2 dengan bertindak sebagai penguji eksternal dengan memberi pertanyaan seputar materi yang sudah diberikan saat pembekalan pada hari sebelumnya dan pertanyaan terkait ujian tulis tentang akuntansi dan keuangan lembaga. Secara keseluruhan, pembekalan materi berjalan dengan baik dan sebagian besar siswa memamahi materi yang disampaikan. Begitu pula, pada saat uji kompetensi, sebagian besar siswa mampu mengerjakan soal – soal akuntansi dan keuangan lembaga.

Abstract

The aim to be achieved in this research is for effective leadership and organizational justice to have a simultaneous influence on organizational commitment in the Transportation Infrastructure Sector of the Surabaya City Transportation Service. In accordance with the results of this research, it can be concluded that factors consisting of effective leadership and organizational justice have a significant and positive influence simultaneously on organizational commitment in the Transportation Infrastructure Sector of the Surabaya City Transportation Service. Factors consisting of effective leadership and organizational justice have a significant and partially positive influence on organizational commitment in the Transportation Infrastructure Sector of the Surabaya City Transportation Service. Among the factors consisting of effective leadership and organizational justice, it turns out that effective leadership has a dominant influence on organizational commitment in the Transportation Infrastructure Sector of the Surabaya City Transportation Service, with a partial influence of 63%. As input, we can provide a few suggestions that can be proposed for improving management which are implications of the research results, including: Encouraging transformational leadership behavior that inspires and motivates employees to achieve organizational goals, focus on building trust, fostering creativity, and empowering team members to contribute meaningfully, prioritize clear and transparent communication to ensure employees understand organizational goals, expectations and changes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence teacher performance at SMP Mawar Sharon Christian School Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach. The study population was 26 permanent teachers at the SMP Mawar Sharon Christian School Surabaya. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire through the Google form. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression, F test, and t test. Based on the results of the study it is revealed that the work environment influences teacher performance, this shows that the better the work environment, the teacher's performance will still increase. Motivation affects teacher performance, this shows that the more teacher motivation increases, the teacher's performance will still be higher. Leadership affects teacher performance, this shows that the better the leadership of the principal, the higher the teacher's performance. Training has an effect on teacher performance, this shows that the more often training is carried out by teachers, the higher teacher performance will still be.

Abstract

Leadership style plays an important role in improving organizational performance, especially in the face of increasingly complex global competitive challenges. Effective leadership is considered capable of increasing motivation, job satisfaction, and team cohesion, which ultimately contributes positively to organizational performance. The aim of this research is to examine the impact that different leadership styles, with a focus on transformational leadership, have on the results of an organization.  The research method used was a literature review of relevant scholarly sources, including articles, conference proceedings, and books that discuss the contribution of leadership style to organizational performance. Data collection was conducted through online database searches, including Google Scholar and JSTOR. The findings indicate that by promoting employee involvement and fostering a culture of constant enhancement, transformational leadership can greatly enhance organizational effectiveness. At the same time, transactional leadership may be successful in reaching short-term goals but lacks the ability to inspire lasting motivation. On the other hand, passive-avoidant leadership often results in hindered team dynamics and reduced productivity. The advice given in this research suggests that companies should focus on implementing transformational leadership in order to boost employee motivation, involvement, and creativity. Moreover, utilizing a blend of transformational and transactional leadership techniques may be effective in reaching both immediate and long-lasting objectives. Organizations are also advised to develop leadership competencies through training, as well as avoid passive-avoidant leadership styles that can be detrimental to team performance

Abstract

Pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui program inkubasi wirausaha untuk pemuda Karang Taruna merupakan upaya strategis untuk memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang mendukung pengembangan produk baru. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Desa Genilangit dan difokuskan pada pendampingan para pelaku UMKM. Program ini menerapkan empat tahapan metode, yaitu: (a) analisis kebutuhan dan kondisi sasaran; (b) diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) dengan pendekatan berbagi informasi dan sesi tanya jawab; (c) praktik melalui simulasi dan pelatihan keterampilan; serta (d) evaluasi dan refleksi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan pemuda Karang Taruna dalam mengembangkan UMKM melalui program inkubasi wirausaha secara maksimal. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan: (a) peningkatan pemahaman pemuda Karang Taruna dalam membangun dan menjalankan UMKM secara kreatif dan inovatif; (b) peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk UMKM; serta (c) penguatan keterampilan pemuda melalui program inkubasi. Sebagai rekomendasi, pemuda Karang Taruna diharapkan dapat menciptakan produk lokal unggulan yang mampu bersaing di pasar global.

Abstract

The rising popularity of social media has compelled businesses to rethink their marketing approaches, focusing on engaging a broader customer base by offering value and facilitating two-way interactions. This shift gave rise to influencer marketing as an innovative brand promotion strategy. When influencers collaborate with brands targeting the appropriate audience, they can enhance brand recognition and add significant value to businesses. This study examines how source credibility factors—such as trustworthiness, attractiveness, and perceived expertise—affect consumer attitudes toward fashion influencers and how these attitudes shape consumers’ intentions to purchase and recommend products. The sample comprises 342 followers of a prominent Indonesian fashion influencer, selected using a simple random sampling method. Hierarchical regression analysis, performed in SPSS, reveals that trustworthiness and perceived expertise significantly impact perceptions of influencers in the fashion industry

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the effect of Perceived Usability, Website Functionality, and Perceived Usefulness on Customer Satisfaction of Shopee application users in Surabaya. It is a basic research project that falls under causal research. A structural model was used in the quantitative research technique. Non-probability sampling utilizing the snowball sampling method was utilized. This research was conducted using a questionnaire to 100 people with online purchasing experience on Shopee, aged 15-34 years and residing in Surabaya were chosen as the sample criterion. Amos 21.0 software is used to process research data. Each variable, namely Perceived Usability, Website Functionality, and Perceived Usefulness, substantially affected Customer Satisfaction. There are some implications that Shopee can do, including paying attention to the quality of application usability in each of its uses. Such as speed in responding to customers in product searches, providing easy product recommendations based on purchase and search history, increasing customer data privacy policies, and providing a sense of security with black agreements. Above is white (digitally) that Shopee will maintain and not disseminate customer data to third parties, the quality of the Shopee application's speed to make payments easier and faster when the app is busy.

Abstract

The transportation sector faced substantial challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, primarily due to a lack of robust digital infrastructure and reliance on unreliable data. This study aims to tackle these issues by implementing a digital transformation strategy focused on reengineering business processes and introducing an innovative intellectual capital model specifically designed for Indonesia's government transportation sector. This research marks a pioneering effort in developing unique measurement indicators and dimensions for this intellectual capital model. The model's creation was informed by an extensive literature review, which led to a survey distributed to 302 field experts. The proposed framework includes informational, human, structural, and relational capital, constructed through structural equation modeling (SEM) and analyzed with AMOS software. Informational capital is defined as the combined assets that generate value, encompassing data, information, knowledge, technology, and tools. Statistical analysis showed a moderate level of intellectual capital readiness among surveyed organizations. 'Knowledge Management' displayed the highest readiness level, followed by 'Planning and Processes.' Conversely, 'Transformational Technologies' and 'Creativity and Innovation' scored lowest in readiness. These results suggest that organizations in this sector require a broad set of skills and competencies to boost creativity and innovation while effectively utilizing digital technologies to enhance intellectual capital. To successfully implement a digital strategy, organizations must develop essential competencies, emphasize the importance of informational assets, and cultivate a culture supportive of change

Abstract

The team from Telkom University carried out community service activities at the Al Falah At Tirmidzi Foundation with the aim of increasing digital literacy and awareness of students, teachers, and foundation managers regarding personal data protection and social media ethics. This program began with coordination and assessment regarding the relevance of the material to be provided with the needs of the target community, then continued with the delivery of educational materials, interactive discussions, pre-tests and post-tests, and satisfaction surveys regarding the implementation of the activity. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the differences between general and specific personal data, as well as the importance of responsible behavior on social media. This activity not only builds awareness of the legal and ethical dimensions of digital behavior, but also encourages the creation of a safer and more empathetic digital space. This program received a positive response and was considered relevant and had an impact on the target community.
