Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the allocation of projects to be implemented by the Department of Road Infrastructure Pripinsi West Sumatra in 2005, so the cost minimum. The method used is the method of Branch And Bound together with the simplex method with a solution in the form of binary integer program .. By this method it was found that all the variables that represent each project is worth the cost of the current minimum, so that the entire project could be done with minimum total cost is Rp 17,789,289,600.00. This is in accordance with the reality on the ground that all projects can be realized by the Department of Road Infrastructure West Sumatra province.Key words: branch and bound method, simpleks method, integer biner

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of inquiry-based media development on digestive system-based material in grade 5 elementary school students. The type of research used is development research using a 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research instrument used validation sheets, practicality sheets. While the results were analyzed with descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that students' learning motivation increases by using inquiry-based e-poster learning media. This can be seen in the results of the validation test of the e-poster media of the inquiry-based digestive system that was developed which is very valid and the results of the practicality test through a response questionnaire are categorized as very practical. Thus the e-poster media inquiry-based that was developed is valid and practical to use as a means of conveying digestive system material to 5th grade students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Background: The general issue in mathematics education is the suboptimal numeracy literacy skills of students, which adversely affects their learning outcomes. Improving these skills is essential for enhancing students' overall academic performance in mathematics. Purpose: This study aims to maximize students' numeracy literacy skills through the application of the Multi-Representation Discourse (DMR) learning model. The research seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the DMR model in improving students' numeracy literacy compared to conventional teaching methods. Methods: The research methodology employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The instrument used in this study is a numeracy literacy skills test, with a sample consisting of two classes: an experimental group and a control group. Preliminary tests confirmed that the data met the criteria for normality and homogeneity, allowing hypothesis testing to be conducted using the t-test. Results: The research findings show that tcalculate>ttablet_{calculate} > t_{table}tcalculate?>ttable? or 3.03695 > 1.67792, leading to the rejection of H0H_0H0?. This indicates that at a 5% significance level, the numeracy literacy skills of students using the cooperative learning model type Multi-Representation Discourse (DMR) are significantly better than those of students using conventional teaching methods. Conclusion: The study concludes that the application of the DMR learning model significantly enhances students' numeracy literacy skills compared to conventional teaching methods. These results suggest that implementing the DMR model in mathematics education can lead to better learning outcomes for students.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of school principals as change leaders in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia. It explores their strategies, innovative practices, and the factors contributing to both the successes and challenges of curriculum application. Adopting a qualitative methodology, data were gathered through purposive sampling, with school principals serving as primary informants. The findings reveal that principals are instrumental in driving curriculum reform by engaging in academic supervision, cultivating collaborative school environments, and promoting student-centered learning approaches. Key strategies identified include organizing professional development initiatives, fostering stakeholder partnerships, and efficiently managing resources to align teaching methodologies with the curriculum’s objectives. Innovative practices, such as establishing professional learning communities and introducing project-based learning activities, further facilitate the curriculum's adoption. The study identifies several factors that support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, including active teacher involvement, government-sponsored training programs, and curriculum designs tailored to local contexts. The study highlights the critical need for continuous professional development, comprehensive strategic planning, and consistent policy support to overcome these obstacles. Effective leadership by school principals is essential for fostering a positive school culture and encouraging collaboration among stakeholders, thereby enabling systemic transformation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan LKPD berbasisi scaffolding untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik pada materi bangun datar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif karena kurangnya kemampuan literasi numerasi dan sumber belajar yang tersedia disekolah. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4- D. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis validasi, analisis praktikalitas, analisis efektivitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa LKPD berbasis scaffolding untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi sisiwa pada meteri bangun datar telah valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil validasi LKPD berbasis scaffolding untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik pada meteri bangun datar adalah 77,38% dengan kategori valid. Hasil praktikalitas yang diperoleh dari angket respon peserta didik adalah 84,89% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sementara hasil efektivitas adalah 77,48% dengan kategori baik, oleh karena itu LKPD berbasisi scaffolding pada materi bangun datar efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the school principal as a change leader, the principal's strategy as a change leader, the principal's innovation as a change leader, the factors supporting change, and the factors inhibiting change in the implementation of an independent curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach. Research informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by in-depth interviews, documentation studies and field notes. Data analysis was performed with reference to the Miles and Huberman model. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques and increased the persistence of researchers in analyzing the documents they found. The conclusions of this study are: (1) the role of the principal is shown by the implementation of the independent curriculum, driving the learner-centered learning process. and provide independence to work for students and educational staff; (2) the principal's strategy is by identifying cases, conducting interviews, creating good relations, and creating an atmosphere towards students' awareness of the implementation of the independent curriculum; (3) the innovation of the school principal in carrying out P5, entrepreneurship (traditional food bazaar), voting for democracy (election for the OSIS chairman) and building body and soul (religious activities such as the Ramadan Islamic boarding school); (4) Factors supporting the school principal, namely internal factors (infrastructure and leadership of the school principal) and external factors, namely there are already 2 driving force teachers resulting from training organized by the government; (5) Obstacles from internal parties, namely: lack of teacher education, There are teachers who are inconsistent in their implementation, there are teachers who are clueless.

Abstract

Bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas masih terbatas pada buku paket. Penggunaan buku paket tersebut belum optimal karena siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang disampaikan sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan literasi numerasi. Selain itu, meskipun visi sekolah adalah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis TIK, namun pengintegrasian TIK dalam pembelajaran matematika masih minim. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education yang valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian, tahap perancangan, dan tahap pengembangan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis validitas dan analisis praktikalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria yang dipersyaratkan, dengan nilai validitas sebesar 78,9% (berkategori valid) dan nilai praktikalitas sebesar 86,7% (berkategori sangat praktis).

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka telah dilakukan hampir di seluruh madrasah, termasuk madrasah swasta seperti MTs Muhammadiyah Lima Kaum. Namun, keterbatasan pelatihan khusus bagi madrasah swasta menyebabkan guru dan pihak madrasah masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan menerapkan kurikulum tersebut. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pendidik dalam menyusun dan melaksanakan Kurikulum Merdeka secara optimal. Metode: Community-Based Research (CBR) dengan empat tahap, yaitu peletakan dasar, perencanaan, pengumpulan dan analisis data, serta penentuan aksi. Hasil: Sebanyak 16,7% pendidik mampu menyusun modul ajar dengan sangat baik. Sisanya cukup baik namun belum merinci seluruh komponen. Madrasah telah menyusun rancangan proyek semester ganjil 2023/2024. Kesimpulan: Program ini membantu pendidik dan madrasah lebih siap dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar matematika siswa di kelas X jurusan Busana di SMKN 3 Payakumbuh. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti memberi solusi dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran matematika.Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X jurusan Busana di SMKN 3 Payakumbuh. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X Busana 4. Pada kelas sampel diterapkan model Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran matematika. Data penelitian diperoleh dari angket motivasi belajar matematika siswa yang diberikan pada saat pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan penelitian pada kelas sampel diperoleh data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan hasil diperoleh = 15,984972 dan pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 diperoleh = 2,03224 sehingga . Artinya ditolak dan diterima yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata motivasi belajar matematika siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMKN 3 Payakumbuh
