Abstract

Speaking skills represent a crucial aspect of Arabic language learning, demanding mastery of vocabulary, grammatical structures, pronunciation, and learner confidence. However, many students in Islamic schools, including those at MTs Al-Multazam Mojokerto, still struggle to use Arabic actively and spontaneously in communication. To address this issue, the madrasah collaborated with teachers from Kampung Arab Pare, who implemented phonetic drilling and memorization (Al-Kharfi wa Al-Khafdzi) methods. These methods are known to effectively enhance students’ vocabulary retention, pronunciation accuracy, fluency, and self-confidence in speaking Arabic. This study aims to investigate the role of Kampung Arab Pare teachers in improving students’ maharotul kalam (speaking skills), focusing on teaching effectiveness, environmental support, and the challenges encountered during implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the integration of the Pare methods fosters a more interactive and motivating learning atmosphere, significantly improving students’ oral competence. This study contributes to the advancement of communicative Arabic language teaching and provides valuable insights for educational institutions seeking to design learning environments that promote active and confident Arabic communication.

Abstract

Zakah is one of the characteristics of the Islamic economic system, because zakah is one of the implementation of the principle of justice in the Islamic economic system. Trade is one form of legal business. The predominantly Muslim village of Mejobo has considerable potential associated with zakat, where the mejobo village has a prominent market commodity in the south of the southern part of the potential Brayung market in which a total of approximately 1000 traders in the Mejobo Village market. Materially the traders gain prosperity through two things: capital turnover and reasonable trade margin. However, in reality the merchants are distributing their zakah directly to mustahiq without going through zakah institution in the form of money every close to Eid al-Fitr. In addition, they also channel their zakah to a person who is not assigned as an amilin or zakah officer but to a person who is trusted to distribute. It is unfortunate if this large potential is not touched optimally by the zakah amil institutions in both the private and government. So it can be ascertained that the prospect of Brayung Desa Mejobo market must be developed maximally so that in addition to the obligation of Muslims to pay zakah, it also affects the social good and reduces the burden of the government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the designed model fits the empirical model and whether attitudes toward social media use, subjective norms, self-efficacy, and intentions to use social media are factors in the social media use behavior in Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. The population in this study was all Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in Central Java. The sampling technique in this study was systematic sampling. It was conducted by taking each subject in the population until the number of the desired sample was met. The technique of analysis employed the structural equation model. Based on the analysis results, the requirements criteria were Chi-Square 165.472 (DF= 81, p=0.000), CMIN/DF=2.043, GFI= 0.947, AGFI= 0.922, TLI= 0.940, and RMSEA= 0.051. Then, the proposed model could be said to be fit or fulfilled. Thus, it can be stated that the proposed model design was not significantly different from the empirical data. Under the study results, the determination coefficient (R²) of the social media use intention (R²) was 0.03, meaning that only 3% could be explained or predicted through the variables of attitude toward using social media, subjective norms, and self-efficacy. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) of social media use behavior was 0.29, indicating that 29% could be explained or predicted through the variables of social media use attitudes, subjective norms, self-efficacy, and intentions.
