Abstract

This research aims to develop an innovative and easy-to-use fetal heart rate monitoring bracelet for pregnant women. The design of this bracelet involves various electronic aspects, including signal acquisition using optical sensors (Ultrasound Doppler, ECG, or PPG), signal processing with a microcontroller and efficient algorithms to eliminate noise and detect heart rate, as well as data display and communication via LCD screen, LED indicator, or Bluetooth connection. The power aspect is an important consideration in the selection of the right battery and power management. The design of the bracelet considers ergonomics and safety for pregnant women and fetuses. Testing and validation are carried out thoroughly, including functionality testing and clinical trials. This research also considers ethical aspects, such as data privacy and information reliability. By integrating all these aspects, it is hoped that this research can produce a prototype fetal heart rate monitoring bracelet that is accurate, safe, and comfortable to use, thus contributing to improving maternal and child health. Wearable Bracelet must-have comfort factors components consisting of Size & Dimensions, Device Weight, Strap Material, Thickness, Flexibility, Component Distribution, Edges & Corners, and Skin Ventilation. From the intructables' sample results the comfort level is 52.5%, while the tool created by Puput Dani Prasetyo has a comfort level of only 50%. And this needs to be increased to >90%.

Abstract

The digital transformation of education demands innovative solutions for assessment systems that are still dominated by paper-based tests. MTs. Miftahulfalah Bandung faces challenges such as limited capacity of IT administrators in managing online test applications, teachers’ unfamiliarity with digital question banks, and students’ lack of experience in computer-based examinations. This community service project aimed to strengthen digital capacity through the implementation of the ZYA Computer Based Test (CBT) application. Using the ADDIE instructional design model, the program included needs analysis, training module design, system development, guided workshops, and comprehensive evaluation. Results demonstrated significant improvement in participants’ competencies, with post-test scores rising by 41.67% for IT administrators, 45.45% for teachers, and 56% for students. Participant satisfaction was also high, with an average Likert score of 4.5, indicating strong acceptance of the training. These findings confirm that the ADDIE-based training approach effectively supports the adoption of digital assessment systems in schools. The implications highlight that ZYA CBT can serve as a sustainable solution to enhance digital literacy, efficiency, and readiness for national computer-based assessments.

Abstract

This community service program focuses on ensuring equal access to education for SBK through the use of advanced technology. The methodology begins with identifying the specific needs of SBK through observation and interviews to understand the challenges they face, followed by collaboration with the school and technology developers to design suitable solutions. Intensive training on Deep Learning (DL) technology and inclusive teaching strategies is provided to SMK-PPI teachers, introducing concepts such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT), and image processing to support the learning process. The DL-based learning model is then implemented in classrooms involving SBK, with a focus on personalized learning content and more inclusive teaching methods. Continuous evaluation through data collection from observations, interviews, and surveys demonstrates improvements in student engagement, material accessibility, and learning outcomes for SBK. Based on feedback from both teachers and students, reflections and adjustments are made to ensure the sustainability of this model at SMK-PPI and its potential replication in other schools. This program is expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening inclusive education at SMK-PPI Bandung, ensuring that all students have an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
