Abstract

The research aims to improve the skill of communicating poetry results using gallery walk model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The subject in this research is fifth grades of primary school Bumi 1 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 21 students. The data collection technique used in this research is interviews, observations, test and documentaries. The technique for data analysis used is the interactive analysis Miles and Huberman. The first cycles at the first meeting of the class average is 80,95 with the 60,90 % classification. The second cycles at the second meeting experienced significant increase. The conclusion of the meeting was 85,71 % and the class average of 86,90. The research concludes that use of the gallery walk model may improve the communication skill of the poetry results on 5th grade of primary school Bumi 1 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the listening skills of grade V Mangkuyudan elementary school students in the 2020/2021 academic year through learning shows on TVRI. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Primary data were obtained directly from grade V students and teachers at Mangkuyudan elementary school Surakarta, while secondary data was in the form of documents of student work, teacher notes, and official documents in writing at Mangkuyudan elementary school which had a relationship with the focus of the research problem. Sources of data in this study were students of class V which consisted of 28 students as the research sample. The data collection technique was done by using questionnaires, interviews, and study documentation. The data validity test technique used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis by Miles and Huberman's model, namely interactive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the students' listening skills are good, as evidenced by the class average score that has met the minimum completeness criteria. With the details that the value on numeration, namely mathematics, is lower than the value of other subject matter. The implication of this research is to increase the creativity of teachers to determine variations in methods, strategies, and effective media in online learning during the pandemic

Abstract

This research aims to improve reading comprehension skills with Know Want Learn learning strategies. The subjects of this research were 31 students in class IV Karangasem II Elementary School Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020. This study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation and reading skills tests that are tested with content validity, triangulation of data sources and triangulation of techniques. The results that has been obtained will be processed by data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. From the results before the implementation of the Know Want Learn strategy, classical completeness was only 12.9% (only 4 students), then after the implementation of the Know Want Learn strategy the results of reading comprehension skills increased by 48.39% (15 students) in the first cycle and 82.2% (26 students) in the second cycle. So, the Know Want Learn strategy can improve reading comprehension skills in grade IV students of SD Negeri Karangasem II in the 2019/2020 school year. The teacher can apply this know want learn strategy to reading comprehension learning in elementary schools, especially fourth grade.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is the latest curriculum initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). The curriculum is an important guideline in the learning process, especially the Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum designed for post-pandemic learning recovery. The Merdeka Curriculum expects students to develop according to their abilities. Therefore, in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers are expected to be able to compile teaching modules that are in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. The purpose of this research is to describe in detail the implementation of the merdeka curriculum in sekolah penggerak based on the perspective of the management function at SDN Kleco II. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data source came from the principal and grade I and IV teachers of SDN Kleco II. Data collection techniques used in research are using questionnaires, observations, document analysis, and interviews. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The implementation of the merdeka curriculum in sekolah penggerak at SDN Kleco II from the perspective of the management function has gone through the stages of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling properly.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning planning in the implementation of the independent curriculum. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. The results of teacher and principal interviews, planning observations, and documentation became the data in this study. Data collection techniques using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation Data validity using the triangulation. technique. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results of this study show that learning planning is important so that learning can run systematically. Teacher learning planning is involved in the implementation of the independent curriculum, namely the formulation of learning objectives, the preparation of learning objectives flows, and the preparation of teaching modules. The teacher has not prepared a mature and clear assessment. The theoretical implications of this research can add scientific information related to lesson planning in the implementation of the independent curriculum. The practical implications of this research are as input for teachers and prospective teachers in carrying out effective planning in accordance with the independent curriculum procedures in order to achieve the expected goals.
