Abstract

This paper is the research result that aimed to determine the effect of video-feature learning media on the ability of pre-service elementary school teachers to appreciate Indonesian traditional arts. The research method used was true experiment with a between-subject design (two experiment control group design). The population of this study was 600 students of elementary school teacher education at a university in Surakarta with a sample of 120 students assigned to the experimental and control groups. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The instrument validity used content validity and construct validity to test the validity of test instruments and media. The data were collected using tests and interviews. They were then analysed using t-test with SPSS 16 for windows. The results of the study showed that there is a difference in the ability to appreciate arts between the students in the control and experimental groups. This can be seen from the mean pre-test score of the experimental class of 13.727 which experienced an increase from the initial test (pre-test) of 10.045. On one hand, the mean post-test score of control class was 9.909 which experienced a slight increase from the mean of the initial test (pre-test) of 9.818. The conclusion of this study is that the video-feature media influences the ability of the pre- service teachers of elementary school teacher education program.

Abstract

The Surakarta Karaton Karawitan which has lived and developed for centuries in the Javanese culture and its distribution leaves many questions, especially those related to the aesthetic concept of the Surakarta Karaton karawitan. The description of the Surakarta Karaton Karawitan musical concept as a reference for the Surakarta community has not been widely revealed. This article aims to reveal and describe one of the aesthetic concepts of the Surakarta Karaton Karawitan, namely the concept of nengsemaken. The paradigm of text and context is used to see the Surakarta Karaton Karawitan events as readable sentences or texts. Texts or sentences have tendency with certain meanings that show certain thoughts that ultimately produce meaning. The concept of interpretation of Clifford Geertz was used to read and interpret musical events in the Surakarta Karaton. From the study conducted, nengsemaken was interpreted as tan sora swarané, rempek rampak kabèh mung jinawil, and sajanturing ringgit.

Abstract

Aesthetics is an observation of beauty, values, and judgments that view human works from the perspective of whether they are beautiful and not—Serat Sri Karongron by R. Ng. Purbadipura was written during the reign of Paku Buwana X, releasing a pulse of musical life in the Surakarta Palace, which implies the artistic content of the Surakarta Palace’s karawitan. Serat Sri Karongron explicitly mentions the atmosphere of the Seger sumyah karawitan feeling. The phrase Seger sumyah can be interpreted as something that can make someone feel happy because Seger sumyah refers to an excellent or delicious taste. Purbadipura notes that Seger sumyah refers to the gobyog karawitan presentation at the Surakarta Palace. On the other hand, Purbadipura reported that the gobyog karawitan presentation still refers to the karawitan presentation with three parameters of tan sora swaranira, rampak-rempeg, and sajanturing ringgit. The aesthetics of the Seger sumyah karawitan, which refers to karawitan composition with the nuances of gobyog, had a chance to live and develop during the reign of Paku Buwana X.

Abstract

Karawitan (gamelan music and singing accompanied by a gamelan) is an integral part of court activities. The very large role of karawitan makes the court karawitan an integral part of court traditional life. The large role of court karawitan is closely related to the traditional ceremonies. The importance of karawitan in the court traditional life finally makes the karawitan one of power legitimacy tools to confirm the king’s power and authority. Thus, there is a unity between the court tradition and karawitan, in other words, karawitan cannot be apart from the court tradition. In other words there is reciprocal and mutual relation between the king, karawitan and court tradition. Such relationship between king, karawitan and court tradition is called system. It is named system because there is a strong reciprocal relationship and the loss of one such element will harm the court traditional life survival.Keywords : king, karawitan, court tradition, system

Abstract

The continuously rising volume of waste and the low ecological citizenship awareness among the younger generation pose a crucial challenge to sustainable development. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the effectiveness and implementation of Waste Management Edupreneurship as an innovative strategy to instill Ecological Citizenship in Elementary School (SD) students. This study utilizes a systematic literature review methodology, examining various relevant academic journals published within the last decade. The literature analysis results indicate that Edupreneurship functions as a transformative mechanism that integrates entrepreneurial principles (innovation, creativity) with environmental education. The implementation of Edupreneurship at the elementary school level, particularly through activities that transform waste into products of economic value, is proven effective in facilitating the experiential learning that is vital for children in this age group. It was found that the implementation of waste management edupreneurship is an effective and validated pedagogical strategy for instilling the character of Ecological Citizenship in elementary students. The main success of this strategy lies in the utilization of the School Waste Bank (BASS), which serves as a platform for tangible action that simultaneously integrates the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) with economic value. BASS is demonstrably a catalyst that transforms passive environmental awareness into proactive ecological responsibility. Through these activities, students are encouraged to form good citizenship behaviors rooted in sustained daily actions. Based on empirical and conceptual findings from various literature, this study formulates the T.E.P.A.K. Conceptual Model (Transformasi Edupreneurship Pengolahan Sampah Aksi Kewarganegaraan). This model is expected to be an optimal guide for achieving integrated cognitive, affective (character), and psychomotor learning outcomes within the context of environmental and citizenship education.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the dynamics of edupreneurship implementation within educational institutions, particularly schools, and its contribution to the formation of civic economy among students. Edupreneurship in the field of education refers to creative and innovative efforts by institutions to instill entrepreneurial spirit, independence, and competitiveness for students’ future lives. The method used in this research is qualitative approach with literature study type of research. This study employs qualitative data and secondary data sources. The findings show that the dynamics of edupreneurship program implementation are characterized by three main aspects: (1) integration of relevant curriculum, (2) paradigm shifts among educators, and (3) creation of a practical ecosystem. Edupreneurship has proven to be one of the solutions to the problem of educated unemployment and serves as an effective way to prepare active and productive citizens in the economy through the development of soft skills in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi edupreneurship berbasis proyek kerajinan tangan dalam upaya menguatkan kreativitas dan kemandirian siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya penanaman jiwa kewirausahaan sejak dini melalui pembelajaran yang kontekstual, kreatif, dan bermakna. Kegiatan edupreneurship dipandang sebagai sarana efektif untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kemandirian, tanggung jawab, serta kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui aktivitas praktik langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa SDN Wadas II yang terlibat dalam kegiatan proyek pembuatan kerajinan tangan dari bahan sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi edupreneurship berbasis proyek mampu menumbuhkan kreativitas dan kemandirian siswa secara signifikan. Siswa terlibat aktif dalam setiap tahap pembelajaran, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi produk. Mereka menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab terhadap hasil karya yang dibuat. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang memberikan bimbingan dan ruang bagi siswa untuk berinovasi. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran edupreneurship berbasis proyek kerajinan tangan efektif dalam memperkuat karakter kreatif dan mandiri siswa sekolah dasar. Model ini dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran kontekstual yang relevan dengan tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21 serta mendukung pembentukan jiwa wirausaha sejak dini

Abstract

In response to the growing environmental problems on a worldwide scale, education plays a crucial role in raising the ecological consciousness of the next generation. The purpose of the article is to examine how, from the standpoint of ecological citizenship, recycling-based eco-entrepreneurship might improve primary children' understanding of the environment. Using a literature review approach, this study looks at pertinent national and international sources about sustainable development, green entrepreneurship, and environmental education. The results show that eco-entrepreneurship initiatives in elementary schools, such waste banks, manufacturing recycled crafts, and using ecobricks, can improve children' ecological consciousness, creativity, and sense of responsibility. The virtues of ecological citizenship, such as compassion, empathy, and practical environmental action, have been shown to be effectively fostered by experiential and collaborative learning methodologies. However, there are still issues with implementation in practice, especially with reference to teachers' lack of knowledge and institutional support. In order to successfully promote eco-entrepreneurship education in primary schools toward the development of sustainable ecological citizens, it is important to increase teacher ability, encourage supporting school policies, and foster community participation.

Abstract

Keberlanjutan Desa Sidowarno sebagai Desa Wisata Wayang terhambat oleh rendahnya minat anak-anak usia sekolah dasar terhadap budaya lokal akibat keterbatasan kemampuan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Bengawan Solo Bersinar dalam penguasaan metode edukasi literasi budaya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Pokdarwis dengan menggunakan pendekatan inovatif yaitu Fun STEAM Learning dengan melibatkan kolaborasi Pentahelix sebagai upaya regenerasi Desa Sidowarno. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan 20 anggota Pokdarwis secara aktif. Metode ini dilaksanakan dengan empat langkah yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dan manajemen Pokdarwis Bengawan Solo Bersinar. Peningkatan keterampilan terlihat dari seluruh anggota Pokdarwis (100%) yang mampu merancang dan mengimplementasikan Fun STEAM Learning, sehingga partisipasi anak naik dari rata-rata 9–10 menjadi 15–20 anak per pertemuan. Kemampuan manajemen meningkat terlihat dengan adanya perencanaan terstruktur, dokumentasi sistematis, buku program resmi, serta mekanisme evaluasi partisipatif yang memperkuat jejaring kolaborasi pentahelix. Dengan demikian program ini mampu mendukung regenerasi budaya lokal secara berkelanjutan.
