Abstract

Education of the toilet learning is a learning process and one of the form of treatment intervention of the toilet learning through training programs on the toilet learning to enhance knowledge mother in toilet learning. This study aims to know the effect (the influence) of the giving of health education to the knowledge mother in toilet learning on toddler age children in PAUD Mawar RW 06 Village of Tlogomas Malang. Research design used pre-experimental that is one-group pre-post test design. Population is all the mothers who have the toddler age children in PAUD Mawar RW 06 Village of Tlogomas Malang as many as 35 people. The sample in this study as many as 14 people. Sampling with accidental sampling. Data were analyzed by using paired T-test with a significance level (0,05). The knowledge of mother in toilet learning before being given health education in the enough category as many as 10 people (71.4%) and less category is 4 people (28.6%), while after the education given in the good category as many as 12 people (85.7% ) and enough category is 2 people (14.3%). The result of analysis showed p value = 0.00 means p value < (0,05). It means that there is the effect of giving of the toilet learning health education on knowledge mother on toddler age children in PAUD Mawar RW 06 Village of Tlogomas Malang. Suggestions that can be recommended for further researcher, if they want to do research/study about mother knowledge in toilet learning should the age of children under 18 months in order to get maximum result.

Abstract

Infectious diseases often result in increased morbidity and mortality, as well as during the Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) pandemic. Children and adolescents are one of the groups at risk for transmission. Transmission of covid-19 in children and adolescents is not too much. This is due to factors related to the behavior of adolescent to prevent the transmission of covid-19. This study aims to analyze factors related to the role and behavior of adolescents in preventing the transmission of covid-19 in terms of predisposing, enabling, reinforcing and environmental factors. The research method is observational with a cross sectional design. The population is adolescents aged 10-21 years in Bareng and Tanjungrejo Sub-Districts, Malang City with a total of 551 people. Samples were taken by simple random technique of 139 respondents. Data analysis used linear regression test. Results: role strengthening factors include predisposing, enabling, reinforcing and the environment significantly influence adolescent behavior in preventing transmission of Covid-19 with a value (P-value) less than 0.05. This shows that all the factors tested are related to the behavior of adolescents to comply in implementing health protocols. The role and behavior of adolescents in preventing infectious diseases needs to be continuously strengthened by various relevant factors so that they can actively participate in preventing its transmission and spread. Abstrak: Penyakit menular sering mengakibatkan meningkatnya angka kesakitan dan kematian, demikian juga pada masa pandemi Corona Virus Desease-19 (Covid-19). Anak dan Remaja adalah salah satu kelompok yang berisiko untuk terjadinya penularan. Penularan covid-19 pada anak dan remaja adalah sedikit. Hal ini disebabkan adanya faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku remaja untuk melakukan pencegahan penularan Covid 19. Tujuan penelitian melakukan analisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan peran dan perilaku remaja dalam pencegahan penularan covid-19 ditinjau dari faktor predisposing, enabling (pendukung), reinforcing (pendorong) dan Lingkungan.  Metode penelitian adalah observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi adalah remaja usia 10 - 21 tahun di Kelurahan Bareng dan Tanjungrejo Kota Malang sejumlah 551 orang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik acak sederhana sejumlah 139 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier. Hasil: faktor predisposing, pendukung, pendorong dan lingkungan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perilaku remaja dalam pencegahan penularan Covid-19 dengan nilai (P-value) kurang dari 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semua faktor yang diuji, berhubungan dengan perilaku  remaja untuk patuh dalam mengimplementasikan protokol kesehatan. Peran dan perilaku remaja dalam pencegahan penyakit menular perlu terus menerus dikuatkan dengan berbagai faktor yang relevan agar mereka dapat partisipasi aktif dalam mencegah penularan dan penyebarannya.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang ditularkan melalui vector nyamuk. Data Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) tahun 2023 menunjukkan, di Negara Indonesia pada tahun 2022 terjadi kasus DBD sebanyak  143.266 dengan data kematian sebanyak 1.237.Metode: Menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain Pre-Experimental dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel pada penelitian ini santriwati Pondok Pesantren Sabilurrosyad Gasek Malang yang berjumlah 48. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur pengetahuan responden.Hasil: Data nilai p value yaitu 0,02 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh edukasi melalui media leaflet tentang 3M Plus terhadap pengetahuan pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue di Pondok Pesantren Sabilurrosyad Gasek Malang.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak di Indonesia dinilai masih sangat tinggi. Karies gigi merupakan suatu penyakit gigi dan mulut yang paling banyak dialami anak usia sekolah. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi dengan board game kepada pengetahuan dan keterampilan pencegahan karies gigi pada anak usia sekolah di SDN Dinoyo 4 Kota Malang.Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one group pre-post design dengan sampel ada 44 responden. Teknik pengambilan data pengetahuan memakai kuesioner dan pengambilan data keterampilan memakai lembar observasi.Hasil: Sebelum dilakukan edukasi dengan board game ditemukan bahwa sebagain besar responden yang memiliki pengetahuan dengan kategori cukup. Setelah dilakukan edukasi dengan board game ditemukan hasil hampir seluruh responden memiliki pengetahuan baik. Sebelum dilakukan edukasi dengan board game ditemukan bahwa setengah responden yang memiliki keterampilan dengan kategori sedang. Setelah dilakukan edukasi dengan board game ditemukan hasil hampir seluruh responden memiliki keterampilan baik.Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh edukasi dengan board game terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan pencegahan karies gigi pada anak usia sekolah di SDN Dinoyo 4 kota Malang.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is the medical term for high blood pressure. Hypertension is commonly referred to as "The Silent Killer" because it shows no symptoms. Therefore, compliance to check blood pressure is important in controlling hypertension. Health education is needed to improve compliance, for example using educational videos in Javanese. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of Javanese-language educational videos on compliance with blood pressure checks in elderly hypertension history at the Melati 5 Elderly Posyandu in the Kepanjen Health Center Working Area. Method: This type of research is quantitative with Pre-experimental research design using One Group Pre-Test Post-Test approach. The study population was all elderly people with a history of hypertension at Posyandu Melati 5 as many as 50 respondents, simple random sampling technique with a sample of 33 respondents. Result: The results showed that during the Pre-Test very few of the respondents were compliant (12%), while during the Post-Test almost all of the respondents were compliant (85%). Using the Wilcoxon test analysis with a p-value of 0.000 means that there is an effect of Javanese educational videos on respondent compliance. Conclusion: There is an effect of Javanese-language educational videos on compliance with blood pressure checks in elderly hypertension history at the Melati Elderly Posyandu 5 Kepanjen Health Center Working Area.

Abstract

Introduction: In Indonesia, obesity is becoming a growing health problem. Not only do many cases of obesity or overnutrition occur in adulthood, but it also often occurs in adolescence. through the use of visually appealing, easily available, and youth-specific media - specifically animated videos - to promote health and prevent obesity. Animated images are a series of still photographs displayed at a specific time to give the impression that the images are moving. In other words, animation is the movement of objects to give a more dynamic and captivating appearance. The use of animated features on instructional videos can grab the attention of the audience and encourage more thought-provoking questions from them, which will reduce their cognitive load. Objective: This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of health education using animated videos on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards obesity prevention in adolescents at SMPN 8 Malang. By evaluating the impact of animated video interventions, the research seeks to provide insights into the effectiveness of multimedia educational tools in enhancing students' understanding and fostering positive attitudes towards maintaining a healthy weight and preventing obesity. Methode: The type of research used was quantitative research with one group pre-post design with a sample of 31 adolescents. Knowledge data collection techniques used a questionnaire and attitude data collection using a checklist sheet. Knowledge of adolescents before education through animated videos found that most (52%) adolescents had sufficient knowledge. Result: After education through animated videos, it was found that almost all (93.5%) adolescents had good knowledge. The attitude of adolescents before education through animated videos was found that most (71%) adolescents had a negative attitude. After being given education, most (61%) adolescents have a positive attitude. The results of the Wilcoxon test knowledge obtained a significant value of p-value 0.000 < ? (0.05) and attitude obtained a significance value of p-value 0.000 < ? (0.05) this shows that there is an effect of education using animated videos on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about obesity prevention. Conclussion: This study proves that there is an effect of education through animated videos on the knowledge and attitudes of obesity prevention in adolescents at SMPN 8 Malang. at SMPN 8 Malang animated video media can be one of the media in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents SMPN 8 Malang in obesity prevention.

Abstract

The Extended Mind concept, as introduced in The Extended Mind: The Power of Thinking Outside the Brain by Annie Murphy Paul, challenges the traditional view that cognition is solely confined to the brain. This book argues that human thinking extends beyond neural processes, incorporating the body, environment, social interactions, and technology. By understanding these external cognitive factors, individuals and organizations can optimize learning, problem-solving, and productivity. This article reviews the key ideas of the book, highlighting its relevance to education, the workplace, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) as a cognitive extension. The first major aspect, thinking with the body, demonstrates that gestures, movement, and physical interaction enhance cognitive performance, creativity, and problem-solving. In education, incorporating physical movement into learning activities improves comprehension, while in the workplace, structured movement fosters innovation. Abstract

Upaya penurunan risiko Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 (DMT2) memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif, termasuk penguatan transformasi kesehatan berbasis masyarakat. Penelitian atau program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader Posyandu melalui metode peer educator sebagai strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam menurunkan risiko DMT2 di Kelurahan Balearjosari, wilayah kerja Puskesmas Polowijen. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan kader dengan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif, di mana para kader dilatih menjadi pendidik sebaya (peer educator) yang mampu menyampaikan informasi terkait pencegahan DMT2 secara efektif kepada masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kepercayaan diri kader dalam melakukan edukasi kesehatan serta perubahan perilaku masyarakat ke arah gaya hidup sehat. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan kader melalui model peer educator dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat transformasi layanan kesehatan primer dan menurunkan risiko DMT2 di tingkat komunitas. Rekomendasi diarahkan pada replikasi model ini di wilayah lain dengan karakteristik serupa serta dukungan berkelanjutan dari lintas sektor.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat Edukasi pencegahan stunting pada remaja putri di SMK Nusa Poncokusumo, pendampingan dan sosialisasi kepada remaja putri dengan jumlah peserta 30 remaja putri, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 Juli 2025 dan bertempat di ruang sekolah SMK Nusa Poncokusumo. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan mulai pukul 08.00-16.00 WIB dan diikuti oleh 30 peserta yang merupakan remaja putri, 3 orang dosen pengabdian masyarakat dan 2 dua orang mahasiswa. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah presentasi/tatap muka dengan alat bantu LCD dan Proyektor. Pengetahuan remaja putri di SMK Nusa Poncokusumo, meningkat terbukti dengan hasil nilai pre test yang hanya rata-rata nya 51,25% meningkat rata-rata 91,25% pada saat post test. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa remaja putri di SMK Nusa Poncokusumo sudah memiliki kemampuan yang baik terkait dengan pengetahuan Edukasi pencegahan stunting pada remaja putri.

Abstract

Masalah perkembangan kognitif anak prasekolah masih banyak dijumpai yang meliputi perkembangan menulis,membaca,dan mengenal warna. Akibat dari kurangnya perkembangan kognitif mempunyai dampak kurang konsentrasi saat belajar. Tujuan peneliti untuk mengindentifikasi perkembangan kognitif anak usia prasekolah dengan terapi membaca buku “Biblioterapi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pra eksperimen one group pre and post test desain. dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak prasekolah yang mengalami gangguan dalam perkembangan Kognitif. Waktu penelitian Maret-April 2022 Variabel bebas adalah Biblioterapi dan variable terikat perembangan Kognitif Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired t test. Dari hasil uji paired t tes diperoleh nilai sebelum intervensi sebesar (mean=18.13; SD= 2.45) dan nilai sesudah intervensi (mean= 20.67; SD=1.76) dengan p<0.001 yang artinya ter­dapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre dan post test setelah dilakukan Biblioterapi, dimana pencapaian perkembangan Kognitif pada anak semakin menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih baik dibandingan sebelum mendapatkan intervensi.
