Abstract

ABSTRACT The beginning of a child's life is the most appropriate time to provide encouragement or development efforts so that children can develop optimally. However, awareness and concern for health from an early age still leaves many problems. The presence of health problems will interfere with growth and development. Management is needed in providing care to sick children. To identify the effectiveness of the model on the ability of health workers in implementing IMCI. Research design uses quantitative with a quasi-experimental one group pretest – posttest approach carried out at the Malang City Community Health Center. The population of this study is health workers consisting of nurses and midwives who work at the KIA Polyclinic Community Health Centers in the Malang City area, a total of 15 Community Health Centers. The sample will be taken using a purposive sampling technique totaling 64 people who meet the inclusion criteria: 1) Nurses and midwives with at least D-III graduates, 2) have worked for at least 2 years, 3) Not on leave. Data analysis was carried out using unpaired t test. Before (pre) participating in training via In house training (experiential learning), there were 52 people who had a sufficient level of knowledge in MTBS Implementation, and 12 other people already had a good level of knowledge. Meanwhile, after (post) participating in training via In house training (experiential learning), there were 35 people who had a sufficient level of knowledge in IMCI Implementation, and 29 other people already had a good level of knowledge with a p value of 0.001. The experiential learning model with the In House Training (IHT) approach is effective for increasing the knowledge of health workers in implementing IMCI Keywords: In House Training, Experiential Learning, Knowledge, MTBS  ABSTRAK Awal kehidupan anak merupakan masa yang paling tepat dalam memberikan dorongan ataupun upaya pengembangan agar anak dapat berkembang secara optimal. Introduction: In Indonesia, obesity is becoming a growing health problem. Not only do many cases of obesity or overnutrition occur in adulthood, but it also often occurs in adolescence. through the use of visually appealing, easily available, and youth-specific media - specifically animated videos - to promote health and prevent obesity. Animated images are a series of still photographs displayed at a specific time to give the impression that the images are moving. In other words, animation is the movement of objects to give a more dynamic and captivating appearance. The use of animated features on instructional videos can grab the attention of the audience and encourage more thought-provoking questions from them, which will reduce their cognitive load. Objective: This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of health education using animated videos on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards obesity prevention in adolescents at SMPN 8 Malang. By evaluating the impact of animated video interventions, the research seeks to provide insights into the effectiveness of multimedia educational tools in enhancing students' understanding and fostering positive attitudes towards maintaining a healthy weight and preventing obesity. Methode: The type of research used was quantitative research with one group pre-post design with a sample of 31 adolescents. Knowledge data collection techniques used a questionnaire and attitude data collection using a checklist sheet. Knowledge of adolescents before education through animated videos found that most (52%) adolescents had sufficient knowledge. Result: After education through animated videos, it was found that almost all (93.5%) adolescents had good knowledge. The attitude of adolescents before education through animated videos was found that most (71%) adolescents had a negative attitude. After being given education, most (61%) adolescents have a positive attitude. The results of the Wilcoxon test knowledge obtained a significant value of p-value 0.000 < ? (0.05) and attitude obtained a significance value of p-value 0.000 < ? (0.05) this shows that there is an effect of education using animated videos on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about obesity prevention. Abstract

This study explores the potential of learning innovations using Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance the interactive learning experience in educational settings. AR, a technology that overlays digital information on the real world, provides immersive and engaging experiences that support diverse learning styles. This qualitative research employs a literature review methodology to analyze and synthesize findings from various studies on AR in education. The literature highlights the growing interest in AR as an educational tool, focusing on its ability to increase student engagement, improve knowledge retention, and foster active participation. AR enables learners to interact with 3D models, simulations, and other dynamic content, making abstract concepts more accessible and understandable. Additionally, AR promotes collaboration among students, allowing for shared learning experiences in both physical and virtual spaces. Despite its advantages, challenges such as technological accessibility, high implementation costs, and the need for teacher training remain barriers to widespread adoption. This paper discusses the implications of AR for educators and policymakers and suggests directions for future research to address these challenges. The findings underscore the transformative potential of AR in reshaping traditional learning environments, paving the way for more interactive and personalized learning experiences. By integrating AR, educators can create more engaging and effective learning experiences that cater to the needs of 21st-century learners.
