Abstract

his study aims to discover the causes of errors in using the verbs “belajar,' narau and Manabu. A descriptive statistical method was used in this research. This analytical technique is commonly used for exploratory research. This study's participants were 30 students in the semester VI Japanese Language Education Study Program Universitas Negeri Manado. The data collection technique was carried out through tests on the participants. The tests consisted of 15 questions from the textbooks Minna no Nihongo, Shin Nihongo no Kiso I and II, and several reading materials related to education containing the words narau and Manabu. The results of the study are as follows: (1) Respondents still do not clearly understand the rules for using the verbs' learning' narau and manabu in the context of Japanese sentences, while some respondents are misled by the use of the verbs' learning' narau and manabu which have similar meanings. 2) the effect of B2 on B1 can be seen from the respondent's error in placing the right verb. (3) The respondents' vocabulary still needs to improve, which can be seen from the respondents' answers not placing the verb in the context of the existing sentence. (4) Respondents do not need help understanding the verb changes correctly. After the data was processed and formulated into statistical form, 96.1% of errors appeared, and 38.9% of students correctly used the verbs' learning' narau and manabu. Abstract

Morfofonologi adalah penggabungan dua cabang linguistik yaitu morfologi dan fonologi yang mengkaji tentang perubahan fonem karena adanya proses morfologis. Afiksasi merupakan salah satu proses morfologis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui unsur pembentuk dan perubahan fonemis setelah dibubuhi afiks dalam bahasa Jepang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diteliti berupa kalimat yang dikutip pada beberapa lirik lagu. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengelompokkan data yang ditemukan, menganalisis unsur pembentuk dan perubahan fonemis yang dibubuhi afiks, kemudian menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 36 data unsur pembentuk kata yang mengalami pembubuhan afiksasi. Rinciannya adalah sebagai berikut: 9 data dari gabungan prefiks dan nomina, 4 data dari gabungan prefiks dan verba, 5 data dari gabungan prefiks dan adjektiva, 2 data dari gabungan prefiks dan adverbia, 11 data dari gabungan nomina dan sufiks, 2 data dari gabungan verba dan sufiks, 3 data dari gabungan adjektiva dan sufiks. Sedangkan hasil analisis proses morfofonologi Terdapat 5 perubahan fonemis yang terjadi pada analisis data temuan yaitu, asimilasi perubahan fonem terdiri atas /k/-/g/, /s/-z/, /t/-/d/, /t/-/z/, adisi, zeroisasi, modifikasi vokal /a/-/e/, dan gabungan adisi dan asimilasi /h/-/p/.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media aplikasi Globallang dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di SMA Negeri 1 Remboken. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. 20 orang siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Remboken menjadi objek penelitia ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas dan uji-t. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu nilai thitung yang diperoleh sebesar 24,798 > 2,109 dan nilai signikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya nilai thitung lebih besar dari nilai ttabel, dan perhitungan lembar respon siswa melalui angket hasil diperoleh sebesar 86,1 yang artinya berada pada kriteria sangat kuat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari nilai pretest dan posttest dan juga respon siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Globallang. Maka dari itu, penggunaan media aplikasi Globallang dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Remboken dapat dikatakan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas permainan mencocokkan kanji berdasarkan metode piktograf dan story pada siswa kelas XII Bahasa di SMA Negeri 7 Manado. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental digunakan untuk mengukur perubahan dalam pemahaman kanji sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Proses penelitian melibatkan 25 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pre-test dan post-test yang terdiri dari 20 soal. Analisis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari nilai pre-test (rata-rata 13,44) ke post-test (rata-rata 19,04), dengan peningkatan sebesar 5,6. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan t-hitung (16,92) yang jauh melebihi t-tabel (1,71), menegaskan penerimaan hipotesis penelitian. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode permainan mencocokkan kanji berdasarkan piktograf dan story efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman kanji siswa, serta mendorong motivasi, kreativitas, dan partisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penemuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran huruf kanji yang lebih efektif dan dapat menjadi pedoman bagi peneliti masa depan.

Abstract

Mastery of long vowel pronunciation in Japanese is an important aspect for learners, especially at Universitas Negeri Manado. Long vowels, such as /AA/, /II/, /UU/, /EE/, and /OO/, have a longer duration than short vowels. The purpose of this study was to determine the duration of long vowels produced by students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program and how they differ when compared to native speakers. This research was conducted on  students of semester IX (nine) of Japanese Language Education Study Program of Universitas Negeri Manado and a native speaker. The method used is descriptive quantitative where the author processes the data recorded by the speakers using Speech Analyzer application which is a software application to analyze speech sounds to obtain data on the duration of long vowels. After that, it was processed again using Microsoft Excel to calculate the average duration of long vowels from the speakers' speech. The conclusion of this study is the duration of long vowels produced by students from the average obtained are: 149 ms on the vowel /aa/, 142 ms on the vowel /ii/, 127 ms on the vowel /uu/, 251 ms on the vowel /ee/, and 122 ms on the vowel /oo/. The duration mentioned above after being compared with native speakers the results tend to be shorter than native speakers. There are also significant differences with native speakers in some vowel positions in words such as the sound /_aa/ by AK (093 ms), JE (084 ms) and native speakers (195 ms).

Abstract

Japanese language education today has experienced globalization so that enthusiasts in the world are increasing. Japanese is a language that can be applied to various fields of science such as linguistics, literature, sociology culture, and others. In today's era of globalization, courses (guiding) have been introduced, namely guiding practices that lead to the use of Japanese for tourists. The need for Japanese-speaking tour guides will increase in line with the increasing number of Japanese tourists visiting North Sulawesi, Bitung City in particular. The provision of Japanese-speaking tour guides is an obligation, considering that tourists certainly want the most optimal service possible, such as getting the desired information in Japanese or communicating in their language. Anticipating the lack of tour guides, universities, especially Manado State University in collaboration with Bitung State Senior High School 1, are holding Japanese Guiding language learning to improve the quality of students at Bitung State Senior High School 1 and to provide practical Japanese language learning knowledge, especially Guiding, to support tourism in Bitung City. Applying practical Japanese language knowledge, especially Japanese guiding, practical tips in serving Japanese tourists. The capacity to communicate orally in Japanese means being able to communicate in common relationships from the professional lives of students later when they enter the world of work, especially in the hospitality sector.

Abstract

The effect of using the media application of Tik-Tok in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tondano. It is one of the alternative effective learning media in Japanese vocabulary. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Japanese subjects by teaching using the Tik-Tok application so students can understand Japanese vocabulary. The research method used in this research is the experimental method, and the research technique is data processing based on the t-test. From the results of the pretest and post-test, the result of hypothesis testing using t-test statistics, the results are obtained where count =6,4>ttabel = 1,704 so that the average students learning outcomes taught using the Tik-Tok application media were better than the average students learning outcomes taught without using the Tik-Tok application.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide assistance to the community, especially the Tagulandang village community who experienced the mountain eruption disaster with the inte-gration of creative activities in the Japanese art of Ikebana. Ikébana (生花) is the art of flower arrangement that utilizes various types of flowers, grasses and plants with the aim of enjoying their beauty. The results of this service activity have a good impact on the community, especially for (1) restoring their mental health, the art of Ikebana is not just arranging flowers but this art is able to relax and refresh the brain and balance the needs of the body. (2) Fostering resilience and spirit so that they feel that their burden is lessened and they can continue their lives with re-newed vigor.

Abstract

Mount Ruang, located in Sitaro district, North Sulawesi, erupted again on March 30, 2024. The impact of disasters is not only physical, so social-psychological aspects are now beginning to receive attention in overall disaster management. Volcanic eruptions produce harmful effects on the environment, climate, and health of exposed people, and are associated with a decline in social and economic conditions. The objectives of this service activity are to provide assistance to the community in the form of play activities as a trauma healing method for children after the eruption of Mount Ruang in Sitaro Regency, and how this approach can be effectively implemented in the context of local communities. Through this activity, children can express their feelings, rebuild their confidence, and reduce the anxiety they experience. In addition, support from parents and the community is needed to create a safe and supportive environment for children's recovery. By understanding the psychological impact of disasters and involving all parties in the recovery process, we can help children to not only recover from trauma, but also grow into stronger and more resilient individuals. Therefore, it is important to continue developing trauma healing programs that involve play activities and active participation from parents and communities.
