Abstract

The situation in Indonesia is currently being hit by the spread of COVID-19. A number of policies were immediately taken by the government to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. One of the policies in the education sector taken by the government related to the COVID-19 case is Online Learning for students. Furthermore, the ability to understand mathematics is also important for students to have, because this ability is a prerequisite for someone to have mathematical problem solving abilities. This study aims to make readers aware of the effect of online learning on students' mathematical understanding abilities. This study uses a survey method directly to students in schools with quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are test and non-test techniques. The instrument used in this study was a test of the mathematical understanding ability of 10th grade high school students and a questionnaire questionnaire. The subjects of this study were the 10th grade students of MA Al-I'dadiyyah Bahrul Ulum as many as 27 students. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the effect of online learning on mathematical understanding ability shows a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then o is rejected and is accepted, and the study concludes that online learning affects the mathematical understanding ability of 10th grade students of MA Al-I'dadiyyah Bahrul Ulum on matrix addition and subtraction operations.

Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the conventional learning process which had been done face-to-face. So a solution is needed to answer this problem. Online learning is one alternative that can overcome this problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of students at State High School 3 Jombang, which during this pandemic had an online learning process. The subjects of this study were students of class 10th MAN 3 Jombang. The data were collected by giving a test in the form of 3 essay questions, giving a questionnaire and an interview. The analysis was carried out using the One Sample T-test technique and the results showed that the t-count values ​​in the description test and questionnaire were 35,327 and 102,384, respectively, with a significance of 0.000. The significance value shows 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect of online learning on the mathematical communication skills of class 10th MAN 3 Jombang

Abstract

One of the roles of educational institutions in the context of this service is to deliver a special activity in the form of practical skills to the community. For this reason, it has been determined as the object of counseling, namely the Gabusbanaran Village Community including IPNU, IPPNU, and PKK Cadres. Screen printing using clothes bleach is an innovation from screen printing in which the coloring material relies on the color fading of a garment, which is made using materials that we use every day. Screen printing using clothes bleach also has good prospects in the convection field because there are no screen printing services in this area and there are not many service businesses using cloth bleach screen printing. The approach or method used is Service Learning (SL). From the implementation of the Screen Printing Skill activity using clothes bleach in the context of community service in Gabusbanaran Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency. Broadly speaking, it can be concluded that: Participants have never received knowledge and materials on screen printing using clothes bleach, Participants have high motivation, and they don't experience much difficulty in practice, the activity is very interesting and useful, Participants feel happy that they have received screen printing innovations with bleach. which they don't realize can be used to make screen printing skills.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service activity are a) a) to increase the insight/knowledge of the youth about embroidery techniques and b) to improve the skills of the youth in making embroidery products. The implementation of this community service activity uses the workshop method. The workshop method is carried out with 2 (two) aspects, namely a) delivery of material on embroidery techniques and b) training in making embroidery products. This community service activity was carried out covering 3 (three) activities, including a) coordination with partners, namely youth organizations in Kedungotok Village, Tembelang Jombang District, b) preparation of workshop tools and materials, and c) implementation of workshop activities. This activity was attended by 20 young women in Kedungotok Village, Tembelang District, which was held at the Kedungotok Village Hall, Tembelang District, Jombang. The workshop activity was carried out on October 25-31 2021. The data for this community service activity was carried out through an assessment of participants' understanding of embroidery techniques and an assessment of participants' skills in making embroidery products. The results of the implementation of community service activities were obtained: a) the understanding of the young women increased by 24.56% where the percentage of understanding of the participants before the activity was 60.09% and the percentage of understanding of the participants after participating in the activity was 84.65%, b) the skills of the youth of Dusun Kedungboto Kedungotok Village, Tembelang Jombang Sub-district, belongs to the “High” category where 80% of participants in the high category and 20% of participants in the moderate category, and c) the average skill score of the youth of Kedungboto Hamlet, Kedungotok Village, Tembelang Jombang District is at a high average score. of 3.4. These products made by young women become a superior product of Kedungotok Village in entrepreneurship and awaken local MSME business actors to be able to compete with other business actors.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is very important. This is because mathematical literacy emphasizes the ability of students to analyze, argue about ideas effectively in solving mathematical problems they encounter (OECD, 2009, p.19). Judging from various things, the ministry of education and culture has actually anticipated it by making several curriculum changes. However, in the period 2000 until now there have been three types of curriculum that have been implemented, namely the 2004 curriculum, 2006 curriculum and 2013 curriculum. And by mastering students' mathematical literacy, individuals will be able to reflect on mathematical logic to play a role in their lives, communities, and society. Mathematical literacy makes individuals able to make decisions based on a constructive mathematical mindset. Realistic mathematics learning presents a contextual problem that can be related to local excellence-based educational games. The main goal is that students have high mathematical communication skills towards mathematics. Selin, the introduction of local excellence in educational games to students through learning that can be used as a way to grow the character of students to the local culture of the nation of Indonesia. Advances in technology and information that are not balanced with strong filters will affect the lifestyle of a foreign country. In this development using procedural development model. The development model in this study led to the development model of Sugiyono (2015). However, in this study not all steps are applied, this is because the research conducted is still on a limited scale with no cover into the wider research. Therefore it stages of development begins by doing 1. Planning with identification of potential problems, 2. Create a new design, 3. Validate the design, 4. Design revision, 5. Validate the design and the last 6. Product trials.

Abstract

Desain grafis telah menjadi kebutuhan di berbagai bidang kehidupan, diantaranya pembuatan branding maupun desain website. Dewasa ini, desain grafis telah menjadi bagian penting dari berbagai sektor kehidupan, terutama untuk mendukung sektor ekonomi dan pemasaran. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan dan keterampilan seni visual desain grafis sangat diperlukan. Hal ini menjadi peluang untuk membekali pemuda dengan kemampuan desain grafis. Hasil survey yang dilakukan tim pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa remaja desa Kalikejambon memiliki minat yang tinggi terhadap seni desain grafis. Sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya nyata guna membekali remaja desa Kalikejambon dengan kemampuan desain grafis. Oleh karena itu dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan desain grafis memanfaatkan aplikasi Canva untuk meningkatkan kreativitas remaja desa Kalikejambon. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa ceramah pemberian materi secara langsung oleh narasumber kepada mitra. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan ini, diketahui pelatihan dan pendampingan ini efektif meningkatkan kemampuan desain grafis peserta. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini juga menumbuhkan motivasi remaja desa Kalikejambon dalam melakukan seni visual desain grafis. Hasil positif ini sejalan dengan beberapa kegiatan penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan desain grafis. Selain itu, kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan juga meningkatkan motivasi peserta kegiatan dalam berkaranya melalui media desain grafis.

Abstract

Pada masa sekarang ini, sebagian besar masyarakat di Indonesia gencar mendapatkan ajakan untuk melakukan wirausaha. Desa Sidomulyo terletak di Kecamatan Megaluh Kabupaten Jombang memiliki potensi sumber daya manusia yang tidak begitu tertinggal dengan desa yang ada di sekitarnya. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, potensi berwirausaha yang ada di Desa Sidomulyo kurang mendapatkan sentuhan motivasi atau dorongan dalam menumbuhkan pentingnya jiwa berwirausaha. Sebagian besar dari warga dikatakan sudah cukup umur untuk dapat memulai berwirausaha yang nantinya dapat mendongkrak potensi desa yang ada di Desa Sidomulyo. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pembinaan dan pembekalan tentang kesadaran berwirausaha dan melakukan sosialisasi kepada ibu – ibu PKK Desa Sidomulyo mengenai motivasi kewirausahaan. Metode pendekatan pada skema pengabdian ini meliputi model pelatihan (ceramah), diskusi, dan pendampingan dalam melakukan wirausaha. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan pendampingan. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pihak mitra. Evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi. Pemahaman peserta terhadap materi yang dibahas dan indikator pencapaian dari sosialisasi tersebut adalah peserta memahami tentang bagaimana berwirausaha yang baik dan tolak ukur yang digunakan untuk menyatakan keberhasilan dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan peserta dibagikan angket dan juga pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah usaha menyebarkan ilmu pengetahuan yang kami dapatkan kepada masyarakat. Hasil dari angket respon peserta sosialisasi ini diperoleh dari 20 peserta. Hasil presentase rata- rata angket respon peserta sosialisasi sebesar 87,4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi pentingnya berwirausaha bagi ibu rumah tangga yang diselenggarakan mampu memberikan pemahaman bagi ibu rumah tangga di desa Sidomulyo.

Abstract

Pelepah pisang banyak ditemukan di Desa Bedah Lawak yang masih dianggap limbah oleh masyarakat di sana.  Dalam rangka memanfaatkan limbah tersebut agar bernilai ekonomi maka perlu dilakukan pemberdayaan remaja putrid melalui pelatihan pembuatan kotak tisu dari pelepah pisang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan dengan metode ceramah untuk memberikan wawasan ilmu manfaat dari pelepah pisang. Selanjutnya dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan kotak tisu dengan bahan utama pelepah pisang.  Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa para remaja putri mampu meningkatkan ketrampilan dan kreatifitas dengan nilai rata-rata 88, kemampuan pemanfaatan barang bekas sebesar 83 serta informasi pemahaman tentang kerajinan sebesar 75. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat yang sangat baik dan membuka peluang ekonomi yang cukup besar bagi masyarakat desa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the difference in students' mathematical literacy improvement skills by applying learning using Project Based Learning and conventional learning models. Jenins' research is quantitative research. Quantitative research can be defined as a process of finding knowledge by using data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze information about what you want to know. The subjects in this study were the entire viib class of SMPN 2 Sumobito Jombang. The sample in this study was class VIIB SMPN 2 Sumobito Jombang consisting of 32 students. The instruments used in this study are pre-tests and post tests. Based on the results of the independent test sample t test obtained a significant value of 0.018<0.05 with a confidence level of 95% which means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. With the sake of the effect of the Project Based Learning learning model on students' mathematical literacy skills on the results of students' mathematical learning in the statstika material of presentation of class VII data SMPN 2Sumobito Jombang.

Abstract

The implementation of the co-op co-op type cooperative learning model is seen from the independence of learning Islamic religious education (PAI) material at NU Al-Hidayah Ngimbang Vocational School. This research aims to find out and develop how to implement the co-op co-op type cooperative learning model in terms of independent learning of Islamic religious education (PAI) material at NU Al-Hidayah Ngimbang Vocational School. This research uses quantitative methods with a pre-experimental research design with a one group pre test & post test design. This application makes it easier for students to learn about independent learning through Islamic religious education (PAI) materials. The indicators of learning independence are 1) Initiative and intrinsic learning motivation, 2) Habit of diagnosing learning needs, 3) Setting learning goals/targets, 4) Monitoring, organizing and controlling learning, 5) Viewing difficulties as challenges. This research concludes that the implementation of the co-op co-op type cooperative learning model is effective in terms of independent learning of Islamic religious education material.
