Abstract

The PBSI Association of Jambi Province has referees from various districts across Jambi who are actively involved in officiating matches at both provincial and national levels. Through this system, badminton referees in Jambi are organized into one forum to develop their skills, achieving accomplishments through a long process. During this formation process, several influencing factors have been identified. The referees’ mental condition while officiating—whether at the amateur or professional level—often experiences issues such as nervousness, anxiety, and even loss of concentration when making decisions. Various phenomena may occur during badminton matches in Indonesia, at both amateur and professional levels, in which referees often become central figures in controversial decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety experienced by badminton referees before and during officiating matches in Jambi Province. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method. The sample consisted of 25 badminton referees, comprising 20 men and 5 women. The results showed that the level of anxiety among badminton referees before and during matches in Jambi Province fell into the “very good” category for 1 respondent (4%), the “good” category for 14 respondents (56%), and the “moderate” category for 10 respondents (40%). For intrinsic indicators, 1 referee (4%) was in the “very good” category, 19 (76%) in the “good” category, and 5 (20%) in the “moderate” category. For extrinsic indicators, 8 referees (32%) were in the “good” category, 15 (60%) in the “moderate” category, and 2 (8%) in the “low” category. The conclusion of this research is that the anxiety level of badminton referees before and during officiating matches in Jambi Province is generally in the “good” category, with 56% of respondents falling into this group.

Abstract

Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) merupakan sebuah model pendekatan yang telah diterapkan di Negara-negara Maju sebagai salah satu sistem pendidikan Jasmani disana. Perkembangan model pendekatan ini di Indonesia belum dapat dikategorikan sebagai model yang membanggakan. Penerapan model pendekatan ini masih sangat minim khusunya di Indonesia. Model Pendekatan TGfU bukan hanya dapat diterapkan di sekolah sebagai permainan pengantar dalam pembelajaran, namun juga digunakan untuk pengantar dalam pelatihan untuk atlet di berbagai cabang olahraga. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah antusiasme dari atlet yang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan Pelatihan Model Pendekatan TGfU untuk atlet anggar sangat diterima oleh para atlet. Selain itu, Model Pendekatan TGfU masih belum dikenal secara luas baik oleh atlet, guru maupun pelatih, sehingga masih diperlukan berbagai cara untuk dpaat memasalkan model pendekatan ini. Model Pendekatan TGfU dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif dan juga modifikasi teknik dan taktik dalam berbagai cabang olaharaga. Pengabdian berhasil menemukan fakta bahwa dengan menggunakan model pendekatan Teaching Games for Understanding, atlet dapat lebih memahami dan melatih taktik dalam permainan anggar. Hal ini berdasarkan dengan pelatihan yang dilakukan selama berada di lapangan. Kata Kunci: Anggar, Teaching Games for Understanding

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterlibatan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Olahraga dan Kesehatan angkatan 2023 dalam Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) bidang olahraga di lingkungan Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui Google Form yang disebarkan kepada 138 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam UKM olahraga masih tergolong rendah. Hanya 9% mahasiswa mengikuti UKM yang resmi di bawah naungan Universitas Jambi, 19% mengikuti UKM yang belum resmi, dan 72% tidak terlibat sama sekali. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki motivasi untuk berolahraga dan minat terhadap kegiatan UKM, meskipun belum secara resmi bergabung. Faktor seperti inspirasi dari teman, manfaat kebugaran, serta keinginan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dan relasi menjadi pendorong utama. Kesimpulannya, partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dalam UKM olahraga masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui pendekatan yang tepat, fasilitas yang memadai, serta promosi kegiatan yang relevan dengan minat dan kebutuhan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Based on the researcher's monitoring based on the coach's statement that the development of the Seroja Tanjung Jabung Timur football game, especially for the 13 to 15 year olds in each match event, experienced many failures, including the failures suspected to be basic technical errors such as inaccurate passing, controlling the ball that often comes loose, shooting inaccurately on target and the ball coming loose from dribbling the ball. All of this is suspected to be caused by the level of poor technical condition ability. The purpose of this study is to determine the mastery of basic football technical skills in players aged 13-15 years of the Seroja Tanjung Jabung Timur Club. This study uses a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study uses total sampling because the population of the Seroja Tanjung Jabung Timur Club aged 13 to 15 years is relatively small, amounting to 17 people. Based on the analysis of the passing skills data that has been done, the results obtained are in the good category there are 10 people with a percentage of 59%, for basic dribbling technique skills in the good category there are 12 people with a percentage of 71%, from the basic shooting technique skills test that has been done, the results obtained are in the good category there are 10 people with a percentage of 59%, the overall basic technique skills results from the basic technique skills test of Football in the good category there are 12 people with a percentage of 71%. The conclusion of this study is that the overall basic technique of the basic technique skills test of Football in the good category there are 12 people with a percentage of 71%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tentang ketersediaan dan kelayakan dari sarana dan prasaranadalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan Di SDN 33/IX Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Data penelitianini diperoleh dengan cara melakukan observasi, wawancara dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan datayang diperoleh dari Survei Sarana dan Prasarana dalam Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga danKesehatan di SDN 33/IX Muaro Jambi, dapat disimpulkan mengenai hasil yang diperoleh yaitu untuk ketersediaan Sarana PJOK 55% tidak tersedia dan Prasarana PJOK 90% tidak tersedia. Kemudian kelayakan sarana dan prasarana PJOK di SDN 33/IX Muaro Jambi adalah 55% sarana dalam kondisi tidak layak, dan 90% Prasarana PJOK dalam kondisi tidak layak dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga danKesehatan di SDN 33/IX Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

Problems: It was found that students' forehand serve skills were still suboptimal. Many students failed to apply the technique correctly and appeared to be careless in their execution. Purpose: This study aims to determine and assess the skill level of class X high school students in performing table tennis forehand serves. Methods: This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with the object of study being the forehand service skills of high school students in table tennis. Results Based on the results of the Table Tennis Forehand Service Test Assessment, researchers obtained survey results that were divided into 3 categories, namely: 3 students had average skills, 9 students had good skills, and 18 students had very good skills. Conclusion: The survey results show that the forehand serve skills of class X high school students in table tennis are in the very good category. Mastery of the forehand serve skill technique is very important in table tennis where the serve is a start in a game, success in a game depends on the start made and the forehand serve can be used as an initial attack in a game that can produce a point if done with the right technique.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the relationship between mental toughness and competitive anxiety in Indonesian Pegasus Taekwondo athletes in Jambi City. This study used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The study sample consisted of 22 athletes selected using a total sampling technique. The mental toughness instrument refers to the concept developed by Daniel F. Gucciardi, while competitive anxiety was measured using the Sport Anxiety Scale (SAS). Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that the athletes' mental toughness level was in the moderate category with a mean value of 102.05 and a standard deviation of 4.27. Meanwhile, the level of competitive anxiety was also in the moderate category with a mean of 47.6 and a standard deviation of 5.195. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed (Asymp. Sig = 0.200 > 0.05). The correlation analysis showed a significant negative relationship between mental toughness and competitive anxiety. This means that the higher the athlete's mental toughness, the lower the level of competition anxiety they experienced. This finding confirms the importance of developing psychological aspects in improving the performance of taekwondo athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of implementing small games to improve volleyball learning outcomes for class XI F5 students at SMA N 7 Jambi City in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study focuses on improving conventional teaching methods and the lack of student participation, resulting in the KKM score not being achieved. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students (as primary data) and conducting interviews with physical education teachers (as supporting data). After all questionnaires were collected, the data were analyzed quantitatively using a percentage formula. Based on the results of the two research cycles, there were significant differences. In the initial action, only 4 students or 13% of the total 31 students achieved completeness. After implementing small games such as chain passing and volleyball, the number of students who completed in cycle I increased to 15 people with a percentage of 48%. However, because the target for class completion was 70%, the study continued to cycle II. In cycle II, the number of students who achieved completeness became 31 people with class completion reaching 100%. Existing data demonstrates that learning using mini-games can significantly increase the percentage of students completing their learning. This demonstrates that students' understanding and practice in learning using mini-games like chain passing and volleyball can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pendidikan Jasmani di Sekolah Dasar memberikan tuntutan untuk siswa agar siswa mampu melakukan kembali gerakan dan materi yang telah diberikan epada siswa. Untuk meningkatkan kemmapuan motorik siswa khususnya pada siswa Kelas Bawah (1,2,3) peneliti ingin memberikan modifikasi permainan yang disesuaikan untuk meningkatkan kemmapuan motorik siswa. Pemberian gerakan motorik yang lebih diperhalus dapat memberikan dampak yang sangat baik untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Berdasarkan dengan hal tersebut diharapkan siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan lebih bersemangat dalam berlatih. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah munculnya modifikasi olahraga dan modifikasi permainan yang dapat di berikan kepada siswa di Kelas Bawah, seperti permainan Hola-Halo, Bentengan, dan Squid Tekong. Berdasarkan dengan penelitian tersebut 72% siswa menyatakan bahwa permainan tersebut merupakan permainan yang menarik dan dapat memberikan mereka keahlian baru untuk konsentrasi, aksi reaksi dan kecepatan dalam bergerak. Abstract

Kebugaran Jasmani itu penting bagi santri dan santriwati pondok pesantren karena Aktivitas siswa Pondok pesantren berbeda dengan Aktivitas siswa di sekolah umumnya. Santri-santri Pondok pesantren harus membaca Al-Qur'an seharian dari siang, sore dan malam bahkan harus membiasakan diri untuk bangun tengah malam untuk melaksanakan shalat malam, belum lagi tugas mata pelajaran dikelas hingga menimbulkan kerja fisik yang lebih berat. Solusinya, kebugaran jasmani dapat dilatih dengan berbagai bentuk olahraga, salah satunya dengan senam, termasuk senam santri. Senam santri adalah olahraga gerak dan musik yang disusun secara sistematis dengan sasaran meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani para santri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan berolahraga untuk menjaga kebugaran jasmani dengan melakukan senam santri kepada para santri dan santriwati di pondok pesantren Al-Muhajirin. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melakukan penerapan senam santri dan kemudian memberikan survei untuk melihat sejauh mana kebermanfaatan dari penerapan ini. Survei terdiri dari empat kategori yaitu sangat bermanfaat, bermanfaat, kurang bermanfaat dan tidak bermanfaat menggunakan teknik wawancara secara langsung. Hasil dari survei tersebut menyatakan bahwa sebanyak 95% para santri dan santriwati menjawab efektivitas senam santri ini sangat bermanfaat dan sebanyak 5% para santri dan santriwati menyatakan bermanfaat pada kegiatan penerapan ini.
