Abstract

Title : Paddy Soil Quality Management Modeling in District of Jatipuro, Karanganyar Regency. The intensive paddy soil management were known caused the soil degradation, thus the proper paddy soil quality management was needed to maintain the sustainability of soil function. The aim of the research was built a model that can be used as the reference of paddy soil quality management in district of Jatipuro, Karanganyar regency. The research was executed on October 2008 until February 2009. The research was descriptive explorative, carried out by collecting secondary data for model building and getting sample based on random sampling method at paddy soil in each Soil Map Unit (SMU), laboratory analysis for each selected soil quality indicator, and field observation for model validation. The results showed that the builded model: SQi = 0,414 + 0,363 pH, can be used as the reference of paddy soil quality management in district of Jatipuro. Based on the model then the recommendation of paddy soil quality management could be determined, through increasing pH by submerged the soil and delay the rice planting about 2 weeks after flooding. Abstract

Tafsir of the Qur’an is defined as a scientific discipline that is very important for understanding the teachings of the Islamic religion. In this context, methodological approaches play a crucial role in the process of interpreting sacred texts. This article has the vision to explore various exegetical methods applied in the context of the study of Al-Qur’an exegesis. Through a comprehensive literature review, this article examines the importance of selecting the appropriate interpretation method according to the context of the text and the purpose of interpretation. Various approaches such as linguistic interpretation, historical interpretation, and contextual interpretation are explored to enrich understanding of sacred texts. In addition, this article also discusses the implications of using certain interpretive methods in the contemporary context and offers suggestions for the development of more inclusive and diverse interpretive methodologies. It is hoped that this article can contribute maximally to efforts to understand the importance of methodological approaches in the interpretation of the Al-Qur’an and become a basis for further research in this field.

Abstract

The need for halal status and product safety has led to the emergence of the Halal Product Guarantee Act (JPH Law). With the JPH Law, not only food and beverages must be halal certified, but also non-food and beverage products, including cosmetic products and used goods. The purpose of this study is to find out how the relationship between religiosity and halal labeling on purchasing decisions for non-food and beverage products, specifically cosmetic products and used goods. This research is a quantitative study with a total sample of 140 people with data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple correlation analysis test, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test), and coefficient of determination test (R2 test). The results showed that the religiosity variable had a positive and significant relation on purchasing decisions and the halal labeling variable also had a positive and significant relation. While the test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) are at a value of 55.7% meaning that the variable religiosity and halal labeling contribute to 55.7% of the decision to purchase non-food and beverage products.

Abstract

Coastal areas and small islands in Indonesia, reaching approximately 17,000 islands, will be directly affected by increasing sea levels, seawater intrusion, and salinization. This paper provides insight into salinity and its effect to plant, saline-tolerant animal feed crops' characteristics, adaptation mechanisms, and some proposed strategies to deal with salinity issues. This research was conducted through literature study and data were analyzed descriptively. Salinity affects the photosynthesis process, thereby decreasing the net Photosynthetic Rate (Pn), the stomatal aperture, Fv/Fm (efficient quantum), and quantum yield (light intensity/rate of photosynthesis). Salt-stressed plants can be seen from the severity by measuring the levels of Cl and Na in the roots, leaves, and chlorophyll. Plant tolerance to salinity is divided into two groups: glycophytes that are tolerant of low salt levels and halophytes that are tolerant of high salts. Salinity inhibits cell enlargement and division, increases plant mass, and increases protein and nucleic acid production. The plant adapts to saline stress, including osmotic adjustment, stress protein, free radical oxidative species (ROS) removal, ABA synthesis, and cross-adaptation. Increasing the productivity of animal feed in saline areas could be achieved in various ways by modifying water, land, chemical and biological properties, and farmer habits.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the problem based learning model in learning to write response texts for class IX of SMP Negeri 6 Semarang. The method used is qualitative description, using data sources in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Qualitative research was chosen because it was able to carry out an intensive approach between resource persons and researchers in the field directly. The results of this study are that the factors of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in response texts are contextual learning, implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, implementation of the Cultural Responsibility Teacher (CRT). The steps in learning response texts in the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model are making Student Worksheets (LKPD), implementing work groups, presenting group work results. Meanwhile, the benefits of learning response texts with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model are that students in class IX of SMP Negeri 6 Semarang are able to think critically and students in class IX of SMP Negeri 6 Semarang are able to apply creativity values ​​in working on response texts based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.

Abstract

Banjir tahunan di Desa Kalipecabean, Sidoarjo, disebabkan oleh rendahnya daya serap tanah, minimnya infrastruktur resapan, dan kebiasaan buruk membuang sampah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan menerapkan teknologi lubang resapan biopori untuk meningkatkan penyerapan air dan mengurangi genangan, sekaligus mengelola sampah organik menjadi kompos. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan biopori, implementasi lapangan, dan pendampingan masyarakat. Target luaran mencakup pembuatan minimal 50 titik biopori, peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan warga, dan pengurangan volume sampah organik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan penerapan biopori di area publik disertai partisipasi aktif masyarakat, serta pemanfaatan sampah organik sebagai bahan kompos. Teknologi ini efektif, mudah diterapkan, dan mendorong kesadaran kolektif warga terhadap kebersihan dan pengelolaan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap banjir dan kemandirian dalam mengelola sampah.

Abstract

The fiqh principle “اليقين لا يزال بالشك” (faith is not lost due to doubt) is a basic principle in Islamic law that aims to ensure legal certainty in various aspects of life. This study attempts to explore the epistemological basis of this principle by examining its definition, textual basis, and practical application in the context of state governance. This study uses a normative method through literature review and comparative analysis. The research findings show that this principle plays an important role in the legal system, especially in upholding the principle of presumption of innocence, policy consistency, and legal protection of citizens. However, there are several exceptions in its application, such as in ritual worship, social transactions (muamalah), emergency conditions, and the issuance of religious fatwas. This study concludes that although Islamic law emphasizes certainty, it still maintains adaptive flexibility in responding to the changing realities of society.

Abstract

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has become prevalent across various sectors, including transportation and smart city. A key implementation of AI in this domain is traffic monitoring, often relying on license plate recognition to identify vehicles. However, this approach faces limitations when plates are obscured. To address this issue, this research explores a broader approach by recognizing general vehicle attributes, ensuring more accurate identification and comprehensive traffic statistics. The proposed solution integrates the You Only Look Once (YOLO) object detection algorithm and convolutional neural networks (CNN) pretrained models for vehicle attributes recognition. This study utilizes multiple datasets, including Roboflow Vehicle, Stanford Cars, VehicleID, and VCoR, to ensure comprehensive model evaluation. Experimental results indicate that YOLOv7 achieved a mean average precision (mAP) score of 86.1% for vehicle detection, with an average precision (AP) score of 91.5% for the car class. For vehicle make and model recognition, the lightweight EfficientNetV2S model demonstrated the highest accuracy score, achieving 89.8% and 99.2% on the Stanford Cars and VehicleID dataset, respectively. For vehicle color recognition, DenseNet201 models achieved the highest accuracy score of 87% on the VCoR dataset. These findings underscore the effectiveness of integrating YOLOv7 and CNN models for robust vehicle detection and recognition. This research provides a practical solution to the limitations of traditional license plate recognition methods, contributing to the development of more accurate and efficient traffic monitoring systems. Future studies may further optimize the framework for real-time applications and diverse traffic scenarios.

Abstract

Ketersediaan air sangat berperan dalam siklus hidrologi lingkungan, dimana dalam konsepnya menyatakan jumlah air disuatu luasan tertentu dipermukaan bumi dipengaruhi oleh besarnya air yang masuk (input) dan keluar (output) pada jangka waktu tertentu. Ketidakseimbangan air dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kelebihan (surplus) dan defisit (kekurangan air) dan dapat berdampak pada berbagai sektor, salah satunya di sektor pertanian tanaman pangan yakni terjadinya pergeseran musim dan perubahan pola tanam. Dampak tersebut dapat diminimalisir bila dilakukan pengelolaan yang baik terhadap lahan dan lingkungannya yakni melalui perhitungan kondisi neraca air dalam suatu wilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis sebaran spasial neraca air lahan di wilayah hujan tipe D, (2) menetapkan Waktu dan Pola Tanam berdasarkan Neraca Air lahan Padi dan Palawija di wilayah hujan tipe D. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan analisis perhitungan neraca air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa surplus air di wilayah Kecamatan Palangga dan Baito memiliki periode surplus 8 bulan dengan nilai 192, 40 mm/bulan yang terjadi pada bulan Juni dan terendah 2,04 mm/bulan yang sebarannya meliputi semua titik pengambilan sampel adapun secara administrasi meliputi desa Kiaea, Watudemba, Watumerembe, Wawonggura, Eewa, Onembute, Anggondara, Mekar Sari, Wawouru, Aosole, Sanggi-sanggi, Palangga, Tolihe, Sambahule, Matabubu, Mekarjaya, Wonua Raya, Ahuangguluri, Amasara, Wawouru, Mekarsari, Anggondara, Aosole, Eewa dan Onembute. Defisit air di wilayah Kecamatan Palangga dan Baito memiliki periode 4 bulan dengan periode tertinggi pada bulan Juni yakni 58,59 mm/bulan di titik 6 dan terendah pada bulan Februari dengan nilai 4,68 mm/bulan di titik 2. Wilayah Kecamatan Palangga dan Baito memiliki pola tanam jagung+kacang hijau-padi sawah-bero/sayuran; kedelai/padi sawah-bero/sayuran; jagung+kacang tanah-padi sawah-bero/rumput pakan.
