Abstract

One of the topics in graph theory that is interesting and developed continuously is metric dimension.  It has some new variation concepts, such as star metric dimension. The order set of Z={z1,z2,…,zn }⊆V(G) called star resolving set of connected graph  G if Z is Star Graph and for every vertex in G has different representation to the set Z. The representation is expressed as the distance d(u,z), it is the shortest path from vertex u to z for every u,z∈V(G). Star basis of a graph is the smallest cardinality of star resolving set. The number of vertex in star basis is called star metric dimension of G which denoted by Sdim(G). The purpose of this article is to determine the characteristic of star metric dimension and the value of star metric dimension of some classes of graphs. The method which is used in this study is library research. Some of the results of this research are complete graph has  Sdim(Kn )=n-1, for n≥3, bipartite graph K(2,n)  has  Sdim (K(2,n) )=n, for n≥3. Besides complete bipartite graph hasn’t star metric dimension or  for m,n≥3 or it can said that  Sdim (K(m,n) )=0. Another graph, that is Fan graph has Sdim (Fn )=2 for 2≤n≤5 and for n≥6 Sdim (Fn )=(2n+3)/5.

Abstract

Purpose: This study seeks to deliver accurate, customized movie recommendations using the Sort Filter Skyline (SFS) algorithm. The approach considers factors like budget, box office earnings, popularity, runtime, and audience ratings to align closely with each user's specific preferences. Methods: The Sort Filter Skyline (SFS) algorithm is employed, designed to identify and recommend items different from others within the dataset. Initially, the data undergoes preparation through pre-processing before being analyzed to compute entropy using the entropy formula. Before carrying out the dominance test, the SFS algorithm organizes the data based on entropy values. Result: In this research, 176 skyline objects were identified from a dataset containing 4,803 movies, including well-known titles like "Avatar" and "Titanic." The Skyline Filter Sort (SFS) algorithm pinpointed these objects within 4 seconds. Additionally, evaluation results using synthetic data, as depicted in the data visualization, revealed that the number of attributes increased from 1 to 7. The dataset size grew, and the execution time also rose—from 18 seconds to 170 minutes. Despite this increase, the algorithm demonstrated efficient performance with optimized processing times. Novelty: This study showcases the successful application of the SFS algorithm for generating personalized movie recommendations while tackling the difficulty of aligning viewer preferences with the extensive selection of films available. The findings offer important insights into enhancing recommendation systems by implementing algorithms efficiently and managing execution time complexity, contributing fresh perspectives to the field.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah banyak lembaga-lembaga pendidikan, salah satunya sekolah belum menggunakan pusat informasi menggunakan website dinamis di sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan: program ini memudahkan mengelola informasi dan sebagai media promosi sekolah dalam menyebarluaskan kegiatan-kegiatan, prestasi sekolah, manajemen sekolah dan lain-lain. Metode: program penyediaan media website dinamis gratis sebagai sarana media informasi dan promosi. Target luaran yang akan dihasilkan adalah mengenal atau memiliki pengetahuan lebih dalam terkait website dinamis terintegrasi. Hasil: Guru-guru SMA/MA/SMK Muhammadiyah se Kabupaten Jember dapat memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat website dinamis sebagai media informasi dan promosi sekolah. Kesimpulan: program ini berhasil mencapai tujuan dengan memberikan dampak positif bagi guru-guru dalam memanfaatkan website.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi aplikasi pembelajaran alfabet berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) untuk anak-anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan pendekatan ADDIE dan Human-Centered Design (HCD). Aplikasi ini dikembangkan untuk mengatasi masalah kesulitan anak-anak dalam mengenal huruf dengan cara yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Model ADDIE digunakan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi melalui tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi, sedangkan HCD memastikan aplikasi berfokus pada kebutuhan pengguna. Evaluasi usability dilakukan menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), yang mengukur enam dimensi utama: Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, dan Novelty. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi memperoleh skor Attractiveness sebesar 1,82, Efficiency sebesar 1,80, dan Dependability sebesar 1,60, yang semuanya tergolong good. Pada dimensi Perspicuity, aplikasi mendapatkan skor 1,53 (above average), menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi cukup mudah digunakan, meskipun masih memerlukan penyederhanaan lebih lanjut. Stimulation dan Novelty mencatat skor tertinggi, masing-masing 1,98 dan 2,05, dikategorikan sebagai excellent, menandakan bahwa aplikasi memberikan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan inovatif bagi pengguna. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi ini memberikan pengalaman belajar alfabet yang positif, dengan kekuatan pada aspek inovasi dan stimulasi, meskipun perlu dilakukan perbaikan dalam kemudahan penggunaan.

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Card Scholarship Program is a dedication of the government to the society, aimed at providing opportunities for all Indonesian citizens to obtain quality higher education without being hindered by economic factors. One of the educational institutions that accepts students receiving the KIP-College Scholarship is Muhammadiyah University Jember. In determining eligible students for the KIP-College scholarship, the Student Affairs Bureau still employs manual methods, making it difficult to perform complex data analysis and evaluate selection results. This research builds a Decision Support System to assist in the selection process for the KIP-College Scholarship at Muhammadiyah University Jember using the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. This study utilizes several criteria with predetermined weights, namely, Decile Status, DTKS Status, Combined Parental Income, and Number of Dependents. The final result of this research is a ranking sorted from highest to lowest value, where the highest-ranking individuals are eligible to receive the KIP-College scholarship.

Abstract

Sistem rekomendasi memiliki peran penting dalam membantu pengguna menemukan produk yang tepat di antara banyaknya pilihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi laptop menggunakan Metode Content-Based Filtering dan K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). Sistem ini dirancang untuk memberikan saran laptop berdasarkan spesifikasi dan harga. Dataset yang digunakan mencakup atribut penting seperti RAM, SSD, HDD, sistem operasi, dan prosesor. Penelitian ini menggunakan TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) untuk mengukur bobot atribut setiap laptop dan cosine similarity untuk menilai kesamaan antar laptop. Metode KNN digunakan untuk menemukan laptop yang paling mirip berdasarkan atribut harga yang dipilih pengguna. Dataset diambil dari Kaggle dan diproses menggunakan berbagai pustaka Python seperti pandas, numpy, dan scikit-learn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode content-based filtering dan KNN efektif dalam memberikan rekomendasi laptop yang relevan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan akurasi yang tinggi dalam merekomendasikan laptop yang sesuai dengan preferensi spesifik pengguna, sehingga membantu mereka membuat keputusan pembelian yang lebih baik dan efisien.

Abstract

Penyakit mulut dan kuku (PMK) juga dikenal sebagai Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) Jenis penyakit ini disebabkan dari virus tipe A dari keluarga Picornaviridae, genus Apthovirus yakni Aphtaee epizootecae. Di provinsi Jawa Timur, wabah Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK) telah menginfeksi ribuan hewan ternak di 23 kabupaten/kota. Untuk mencegah penularan wabah PMK di lingkungan peternak sapi PTPN Afdeling Guci Putih, tim dosen dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember bekerja sama dengan Perhimpunan Peternak Sapi dan Kambing Indonesia (PPSKI) mengadakan sosialisasi pencegahan wabah PMK, pemeriksaan hewan oleh petugas kesehatan dan pemberian vitamin pada sapi-sapi yang ada di lingkungan tersebut. Dari serangkaian kegiatan PKM yang telah dilakukan di wilayah tersebut, peserta yang merupakan peternak mampu memahami ciri-ciri gejala klinis yang terjadi jika ada sapi yang terjangkit wabah PMK dan melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan preventif untuk mencegah penularan PMK. Pada Kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi tampak adanya perubahan tata kelola kandang, salah satunya kebersihan makin terjaga, peternak rajin menyemprot desinfektan secara berkala dan berhati-hati jika ada sapi yang kurang sehat segera memanggil petugas kesehatan setempat.

Abstract

Campus promotions often still rely on conventional media such as brochures, mockups, or 2D videos which are less attractive to the digital generation. This presents a challenge in effectively conveying the university's image and excellence to prospective students, especially high school students. To overcome these problems, this research aims to develop a campus architectural visualization system based on Virtual Reality (VR) technology as a promotional media for Muhammadiyah University. This system was developed using the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, which includes initiation, pre-production, production, testing, and post-production stages. 3D models of the campus buildings were created using Blender and integrated into Unity to build an interactive VR environment. Key features include virtual campus navigation, detailed 3D visualizations, and interactive information presentation. Testing was conducted using the black-box method and usability evaluation. The results show that the VR application is able to provide an interesting and informative campus exploration experience. This system is expected to be an effective and modern promotional media, and is able to increase prospective students' interest in the campus.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi terbarukan menjadi semakin penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi yang berkelanjutan, salah satunya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) jenis mikrohidro. Mikrohidro portable merupakan salah satu solusi inovatif yang dapat menghasilkan energi listrik dengan memanfaatkan air yang tersedia di sekitar kita, seperti sungai atau aliran air kecil. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah mikrohidro portable dan melakukan pemodelan yang efisien dengan mengetahui pengaruh sudut kemiringan turbin dalam mikrohidro portable terhadap kinerja dan efisiensi konversi energi. Metode dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif korelasi dan menggunakan regeresi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan melakukan pengukuran debit air, tegangan dan arus pada setiap sudut kemiringan yang diuji. Hasil pengukuran dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi konversi energi dan daya listrik yang dihasilkan dalam berbagai kondisi dengan menggunakan pemodelan phyton. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil dalam pengujian tiap 1 jam nilai efisiensi sebenar 88, 24%. Selain itu diperoleh juga pengaruh kinerja dari generator yang digunakan, sudut kemiringan yang optimal diangka 200. Sedangkan hasil pemodelan dengan variasi sudut untuk kenaikan 50 memiliki tingkat akurasi terbaik dengan nilai Adj. R-squared 0,995 yang berarti sangat kuat pengarunya sudut turbin dengan efisiensi yang dihasilkan. The use of renewable energy is becoming increasingly important to meet sustainable energy needs, one of which is a micro-hydro hydroelectric power plant. Portable micro-hydro is one of the innovative solutions that can produce electrical energy by utilizing the water available around us, such as rivers or small water streams. This study designs a portable microhydro and conducts efficient modeling by determining the effect of the turbine tilt angle in the portable microhydro on the performance and efficiency of energy conversion. The method in this study is quantitative correlation and using regression. Testing is carried out by measuring water discharge, voltage and current at each angle of inclination tested. The measurement results were analyzed to evaluate the energy conversion efficiency and electrical power generated under various conditions using Python modeling. From the test results, the results in the test every 1 hour were obtained with a real efficiency value of 88.24%. In addition, the performance influence of the generator used was also obtained, the optimal tilt angle was 20o. Meanwhile, the modeling results with angular variation for increments of 5o have the best level of accuracy with an Adj. R-squared value of 0.995 means that the influence of the turbine angle is powerful with the efficiency produced.

Abstract

The domination number is the number of dominating nodes in a graph that can dominate the surrounding connected nodes with a minimum number of dominating nodes. This domini number is denoted by γ(G). In this research, we will examine the domination number of the distance between two graphs resulting from the shackle operation with any graph as linkage. This differs from previous research, namely the domination of numbers at one and two distances. This study emphasizes how the results of operations on the shackle are connected to the shackle graph as any graph connects the copy. Any graph here means all graphs are connected and generally accepted. The method used in this research is pattern recognition and axiomatic deductive methods. The pattern detection method examines patterns where a graph's number of dominating points can dominate the connected points around it with a minimum number of dominating nodes. Meanwhile, axiomatic deductive is a research method that uses the principles of deductive proof that apply to mathematical logic by using existing axioms or theorems to solve a problem. The Result of graph S_n with t copies and S_m as linkage, then the two-distance domination number in the graph resulting from the shackle operation is γ_2 (Shack(S_n,S_m,t) )=t-1; graph S_n with t copies and C_m as linkage, then the two-distance domination number in the graph resulting from the shackle operation is γ_2 (Shack(S_n,C_m,t) )={■(t,for 3≤m≤6@⌈n/5⌉(t-1),for m≥7)┤; graph C_n with t copies and S_m as linkage, then the two-distance domination number in the graph resulting from the shackle operation isγ_2 (Shack(C_n,S_m,t) )={■(t-1,for n=3@t,for 4≤n≤5@⌈n/5⌉t,for n≥6)┤ This research provides benefits and adds to research results in the field of graph theory specialization of two-distance domination numbers in the result graph of shackle operation with linkage any graph.
